OPPORTUNISTIC organization. Not our first time there by any means, overcharge for visits... Tested our dog again for same benign fatty cyst from last year... Looking to charge us $400 to clean our dog's teeth... Prey on your connection to your pet... Hold on to your wallet folks!

Awful. Gave my dog a shot for allergies on first arrival without even seeing what the issue was. Took her to kingsbrook where they properly diagnosed her and put her on a treatment plan. I feel sorry for anyone taking their dog here thinking they are getting a decent vet. Not to mention the price for the shot was OUTRAGEOUS. I don’t have a bunch of money for your lazy vets to just pick something to “treat” my dog with. The actual vet didn’t even touch my dog, just the nurses. How do you check a skin condition when you won’t even look at the fur? Unbelievable.

Best vet we have been to in a long time. We have only been with doctor ahalt but they all seem very nice and sweet. The facility is very clean and odly comforting. The one downside is that many kinds of animals go, so if you have a cat they might get startled as a massive dog plows in. It can also get very lound from the barking. Other than that it is a great place. It's a lot nicer than the old location. Normal check-ups are normally very fast depending on what animal you have and what they are doing it can be a longer wait.

Took my dachshund in due to a burst cyst on his belly and they treated him really well. He's an old boy but he had no problems with the stitches or recovery. They even trimmed his nails without charging or mentioning it. Very professional and caring staff. Highly recommended so far!!

Misdiagnosed my dog with fleas and then really pushed us to buy their flea medication. Took our dog to another local vet that confirmed our suspicion. Simple dry skin and a minor food allergy. Our dog did have a tooth infection and we bought the anti-biotic from Jefferson Vet. We got a call shortly after leaving their establishment that they had given us the wrong dosage and we needed to return to get the correct one. We were charged more money for that antibiotic. So flea med, antibiotic, blood test (onsite) and nail trim cost us $500. I wouldn't trust any of my animals to their care.

My dog needed to be euthanized and I was able to meet with Dr Ahalt ahead of time and he came to my house to spare her the scary painful trip to an office. Great bedside manner. Started taking the new kitten to him and still just a great experience.

Dr. Ahalt & and ALL of his staff, are the VERY BEST at what they do. They have a professional as well as friendly office, they make you feel as if they love your lil Fur baby as much as you do. We first took our mini Dachshund,Caedie, for all her regular check ups and illnesses, when she was about 9 or 10yrs of age we found she had CHF, they referred us to a Cardiologist, we ALL made her as happy and comfortable until it was time, the day before her 11th birthday. About a year later, due to such a quiet home, we took our 2 NEW mini Piebald Dachshund Puppies,Coco & Cotton and we couldnt be happier with our new girls as well as Dr.A & staff, that we trust them with, as with anything else in life.......you get what you pay for, and we only want the BEST for our family!
