My family has used Country Vet for over 40 years, back when it was also a large animal vet and Dr. Armitage would do house calls when we lived abt 3 miles away from them when I was growing up many years ago. Over the years I've gone to other vets and I still, have yet, to find a more compassionate and professional team of vets! I ALWAYS come back to Country vet. I consider my pets family members and Ive known Dr. Armitage and Dr. Holden for, atleast, 40 years. So I will always drive the distance to take my dogs to the best. And I live up in Taneytown now! As long as Country Vet is in business, I will never go anywhere else!

They are really good. I just don't like having to come back for a follow up and being charged when it's the same problem over and over again. it would be really good if you could call in and get a prescription to pick up instead of being charged an office visit!

Love this practice. Every vet and tech treats you and your pet like you are the most important member of their own family. They also don't hesitate to refer out if something is beyond their capability. I really respect that aspect of their attitude, rather than doing harm out of arrogance.

These guys and gals are great people. We had an American Bulldog named Max that swallowed a bottle cap that needed surgery very bad because he was near death. They worked with us on the expensive surgery by excepting payments. A few months later we lost Max in a house fire, it was a very sad time for our whole family. After we received our insurance we went to settle the bill and they refused to except it. It made my wife and I start crying. These are very stand up people. We will always use them in the future.

Our family dog had cut his foot open @ 10am i called them right away they said they were really booked but they could get him in at 11am. when we arrived everyone was really helpful and nice, and DR. king was great they had him stitched up and home by 3pm.
