The doctors and the staff were phenomenal. My wife and I literally have to animal hospitals nearby one of which is in walking distance. We also have information regarding a veterinary doctor that does house calls. None the less we go to Bennett Creek Animal Hospital which is much more than a stone's throw away because they are that good.

Dr. Deans is a really nice and supper caring vet . We just started to work more closely with her. She gets right on the floor with my senior dog and will answer as many questions as you need. What really makes her special is that if you have a question she calls you back, not a receptionist or someone else. She takes the time to call you and doesn’t rush you off the phone. Not all vets will do that. I also feel that she is really honest. I am a student and not in a great financial situation. So having someone who isn’t trying to take you for your money and get you to do every suggestion is nice. I highly recommend Bennet creek. We have met Dr. Walcox as well. He is also very nice.

I have been taking my cats to Bennett Creek since the day they opened. I have never had a bad experience. They are conveniently located, very responsive, clean, and very welcoming. When we have had medical issues with the kitties, we always get a follow-up call after they come home to see how we are doing which is very thoughtful. We are moving further away, but I will likely still drive the cats to Bennett Creek rather than changing vets just because we have had such a good experience.

Amazing beautiful Veterinary hospital in a lovely location. The staff was so patient and understanding. I have a German Shepard puppy that I am fostering and Dr. Deans went all Dog Whisperer on him and was able to calm him (and myself) down. My appointment was not only helpful for my dog but I was informed on the entire process. I definitely recommend this location and we will return again soon!

We've been with Bennett Creek since they've opened and feel very lucky to have such a highly rated Animal hospital so close to home. Makes us feel good when we take our 4yr old black Lab in for checkups and the staff remembers him by name and are happy to see him, really takes away any anxiety for those times when have to board him. Dr Deans is very personable and you can tell she loves animals by the way she interacts with them making the checkups pain free for both humans and pets!

I only gave this place one star because I needed to pick one. Otherwise, I would have given them zero. I went here because I received a coupon for a free nail trim and free exam. The staff was not friendly and I felt like the lady that trimmed my dog's nails did not even like dogs. I somehow walked out paying $390 and was told that my dog needed major dental work. The vet even called me multiple times to say how important it was to get the dental work done and that they take payment plans in case I couldnt afford it. I did not do the dental work and fast forward 2 months later, my dog begins having seizures and of course I think it is because of an infection from bad teeth (I was told this was an issue on the first visit). Luckily I went to a different vet and was told that although her teeth are bad (she is 10 and they were as bad as I was told) the most alarming thing from the tests taken at Bennett Creek were her glucose levels . They were in the danger level when tested and not one word was mentioned to me. They were more worried about the money for dental work than to let me know that my dog had low blood sugar and that I should treat that. I would NEVER recommend this place.

My dog had a medical emergency which required a visit to the Animal ER at 2AM. I did not have a local vet and called the five closest vets to schedule follow-up care for my dog; Bennett Creek was the only vet willing to take him that day. I could not be more thankful to Dr. Dean and her staff for taking in Kodiak after a very scary night at the ER. They have earned my business for a long as we're in the area and have already seen our 3 other furry family members for new patient appointments.

1/18/2017 - We took our six-month old puppy Luna for spay at Bennett Creek Animal Hospital two weeks ago. Dr. Walcoff did an excellent job on her surgery. Staff at the animal hospital was very nice and patient, explaining everything in details to us (first time dog owners). Two weeks had passed and stitches were removed today. Luna is back to normal and she is so happy and healthy. We couldn't be happier that we made the right decision to have the surgery done here. Excellent doctor, excellent staff. Thank you all very much. 12/9/2016 - As a first time dog owner, we brought our five-month puppy to see Dr. Walcoff at Bennett Creek Animal Hospital for a health checkup. The staff were very nice and attentive. There was minimal wait time. Dr. Walcoff was very nice and patient. My puppy needed three vaccine shots. Dr. Walcoff was very gentle and the puppy barely reacted to the shots. Dr. Walcoff answered all of our questions and made valuable suggestions. We visited their boarding area. The facility was very clean and well-maintained. The staff clearly explained how to give medicines. Overall, this is an excellent animal hospital facility and great vet.

My experience with Bennett Creek was short and sweet. I was visiting from out of town and realized I'd forgotten my dogs medication. After calling in a panic, they were super helpful and more than accomodating. They're office was clean and organized and the front desk staff were friendly and efficient. Dr. Walcoff calls the owner after any surgical or medical services to check on the status and to answer any questions. Laurie and the staff, including the vet/kennel tech, Mitchell, are so helpful and kind and can sense your distress and ease it quickly. We’ve been bringing our dog and cat here for their whole lives. Maddie the dog has a chronic illness that requires regular blood work, and treatment and the staff is so wonderful to her! Dr Walcott’s and Dr Deans, the techs and front desk staff are courteous, caring and professional. Maddie actually acts happy when we pull into the parking lot of Bennett Creek! The waiting area is large and comfortable with free coffee and tea. The practice has Saturday hours until noon and is open until 7 during the week, which is helpful given my work schedule. I would highly recommend this Vet practice!

Although the fixing the issue has been expensive, Bennett Creek has been wonderful and has saved us money throughout this process. I highly recommend them.

The front desk and doctors have been wonderful to me and very understanding and loving to my not so lovable cat. My cat has not made it easy on the doctors and staff, yet they are patient and understanding with him. They gave me a mild sedative to give my cat for his next check-up. When I gave it to the cat to try it before his scheduled appointment, it worked immediately, and because I didn't like seeing him that way, the doctor fit us into her schedule, so I wouldn't have to give him the sedative again.

My pets have been going to Bennett Creek since it opened in Clarksburg. What a positive difference this has made in our lives! Dr. Walcoff, Dr. Deans and the entire staff are wonderful, mindful caregivers. My Standard Poodle has been his patient since a puppy. Over the past 6 years, they have stayed on top of her digestive, allergy and ortho issues supporting a superior quality of life. I also have an aging Husky who suffers from chronic pain. Dr. Walcoff has been instrumental in providing a high standard of care for him. Dr. Walcoff is also compassionate to me as the companion of the aging and chronically ill pet. Bennett Creek is a full service Animal Hospital with grooming and boarding. It is very clean! The staff are upbeat and supportive. I highly recommend it for all your pet's needs.

I cannot say enough positive about this place. Dr. Debbie Deans is absolutely wonderful. Very knowledgeable and thorough, and candid about what is going on with animals, whether they are sick or well. She is excellent about sharing all information that she finds out about the pets she sees and has so far seen my parrot and two of our chickens and the rest of our exotics pets will be going to her from now on. All of the staff are friendly, courteous, helpful and wonderful. The hospital is clean and bright and my animals have felt very comfortable in the facility and in Dr. Dean's presence, something that has rarely been the case with my parrot. We have been going to Bennett Creek Animal Hospital ever since they opened. We have 10 cats and a dog and have had several emergencies over those years. They always fit me in right away and have been great with ALL my pets including figuring out & curing some difficult issues. I had an emergency with a new kitty late at night and ended up in the emergency hospital in Gaithersburg that ended up costing a small fortune. A couple months later, a similar emergency with the same kitty happened during the day and for the same treatment Bennett Creek was a fifth of the cost of the emergency hospital!! We love the doctors and the staff! Everyone is so wonderful. I've had many animals over the years and Dr. Walcoff & Dr. Deans are the best veterinarians that I've been to. I recently had a terrible experience with a large pet food company, where all my cats got sick from a new bag of their food. Dr. Walcoff was kind enough to back me up and in doing so I was able to get reimbursed from this large company for the vet bills that resulted from their bad food. He also supports my non-profit business that supports many animal causes. Only the best for my pets!

Before Bennett Creek Animal Hospital opened, we were bringing our pets to our Vet in Bethesda, MD. I was very reluctant to switch Dr.'s but since the office is down the street, I decided to give it a try. We have been with Bennett Creek every since. Dr. Walcoff and Dr. Deans are both wonderful Vet's. The Dr.'s have very different personalities which is great but both are very highly skilled and I trust them with my animals. The front desk staff and technicians are very welcoming and friendly. They are so caring and compassionate with our dog and our cat. I highly recommend them. Not to mention their beautiful, clean offices and very convenient hours.

Beautiful facility, wonderful staff, and amazing attention to their patients. I'm reptile owner and it is very difficult to find a herp veterinary and Bennett Creek Animal Hospital is one of the best herp vets I've ever been to. I brought my bearded dragon in a bad shape. Doctor Dana treated him as if he was hers. She speared no tests in order to find out the cause of illness. Her diagnosis was right on point and her treatment made for a quick recovery. I recommend this hospital to any and every reptile owner in the area. No matter how far I might be in the future - unless is a different country - I will always bring my reptiles to Bennett Creek Animal Hospital. Thank you for being so awesome.

Boarded my dog for about 2w. Surprised to find rash and sick dog when I picked him up. You figure that being a hospital that they would have at least noticed the rash, which was visible. May be OK for a day or so.

Love both vets. They are very good with my babies. About a year ago, one of my babies did not want to eat or drink. I took her to the emergency vet in Gaithersburg. They did a lot of testing and told me that she may have cancer. I took her to Bennett Creek the next day. She had only a bacterial infection and had to only take some medicine for a while. She is around and healthy. Both are awesome vets.

I transferred my pets to the care of Bennett Creek Animal Hospital nearly 4 years ago when my previous vet did not have time to see my dog Cody who had been stung by a Giant European Hornet. I called Bennett Creek and Dr. Walcoff agreed to come out of surgery and triage Cody. Ever since then he has provided excellent care to all of my dogs and cats. Every staff member there is skilled, kind and compassionate. I absolutely love Jackie, Laurie and Cindy!!!! Laser therapy was suggested for Cody's hip dysplasia and a dog who could not even climb stairs when he was first seen was bounding up and down the steps and walking for over an hour in the park daily right up until the day we lost him to a hemangiosarcoma. I found an injured kitten in my barn in July of 2013 and the emergency clinic said she needed a $2,000 surgery so off we went to Bennett Creek. Dr. Deans spent nearly an hour with her assessing her injuries and sent her home for 6 weeks of crate rest after which she made a 100% recovery. I can't thank everyone at Bennett Creek enough for the quality time I had with Cody and Scout and for their extreme patience with our new, rambunctious puppy, Angus, not to mention all the help with the barn cats that can't stay out of trouble.

Prior to our trip from Florida, we arranged to have our golden retrievers chemo treatment administered at Bennett Creek animal Hospital. Our doctor in Florida was contacted, the medicine was ordered, and upon our arrival they completed the blood test necessary and the chemo treatment was very professionally administered. The staff was very professional, the doctor was amazing and the facility a A+ clean. It was a very positive experience for us.

I came in with my 9-year-old cat and had a wonderful experience. We saw Dr. Deans who is extremely personable and informative. My cat has always hated the vet. I've actually had 2 different practices tell me he was one of the meanest cats they'd ever met. In general, when the vet comes in, the claws start flying. Well, to add to his already sunny disposition when it comes to health professionals, he recently had a pretty traumatic experience at another vet. We brought him here for a follow-up appointment. From the start of the appointment Dr. Deans was extremely friendly and laid back. She let Oliver out of his kennel so he could explore the exam room and get a little more comfortable. When it came time to examine him, I was pretty shocked because I had never seen him let a vet near him without a fight, let alone pet him. She was able to pet him and examine him before he gave a little growl and swat (he's still a cat after all, and she was in his personal space)! They took him in the back room to get a sterile urine sample and he was back in about 5 minutes and Dr. Deans had a huge smile on her face. They were able to get the sample and listen to his heart without incident. For me, this is huge. Another HUGE bonus is that they now accept the Pet Assure veterinary care discount card. Which means I saved 25% off the office visit and the urinalysis (which was done in-house). Dr. Deans is absolutely wonderful.

I was looking for a new vet 14 years ago and happened by Old Farm Vet Hospital in Frederick. I explained what I was looking for and wanted a vet that I could work with. That turned out to be Dr. Walcoff. I had had bad experiences with emergency hospitals so he informed me that I could call him any time for help since the closest emergency hospital was in Leesburg at the time. Since then I have worked with Dr. Walcoff and would not even consider looking for another vet. He has taken care of all my animals and has never given me a wrong diagnosis. He is one of the best diagnosticians that I have ever know when it comes to animals. He always answers my questions about anything and if he does not have an answer he will find the answer and get back to me. When he informed me that he was selling his Frederick practice I wanted to know where he was going. He then informed me that he was opening a new practice in Clarksburg, MD and I informed him that I was going to drive from Frederick to Clarksburg. My animals are treated with compassion and love when they are in his care and his techs are wonderful people to work with also. He also has Dr. Deans working in his office and she has been a great with my animals also. I can highly recommend Dr Walcoff and his staff when it comes to caring for anyone’s animals. The trip from Frederick to Clarksburg is well worth my time.
