We moved from AZ with our Golden about a year ago and need to find a boarding location near by. (We are currently using another vet, but will probably switch to here soon.) The staff is wonderful and are extremely helpful with our high separation anxiety dog. He is always so excited and starts wagging like crazy when I pull up, and happy as ever when I pick him up a few days later. He also has thyroid problems and I love that they don't charge us extra to give him his meds every day.

HORRIBLE!!! The most insensitive people I've ever dealt with! I've been taking my pets to this hospital close to three decades. Saturday December 29, 2018 my wife noticed our cat of 17 years appeared some what listless and cold as the cat screamed out when she picked her up and gave her to me as she rushed to call the hospital. When my wife got an answer and explained the cat was dying and we wanted to bring her in, as we didn't want her to suffer or be in any pain, the response on the other end from a lady was "take it to Annapolis". My wife explained to them that we're not near Annapolis but up the street from them. My wife pleaded with them to give Dr. Roller (who's been taking care of our cat), a message. Dr. Roller called right back and said bring her in. The most unimaginable, inconceivable, unbelievable greeting when we came in the door was I quote: "who's paying?" and then the man looked at me and said I quote: "Are you paying?" (as though we were going to just drop her off and leave) This was a family member for more than 17 years. Stunned beyond belief at this point then the lady behind the desk told my wife to take her in the first room. We took turns running back and forth as my wife had our credit cards but we wanted to stay with our cat but the man at the desk wanted money. My wife came out of the room with the credit card and gave it to the man as I could see out cat alone I ran in to be with her. She was just taking her last breath as my wife returned back in the room. To deprive us from being together at her passing went way beyond hurtful. I can not lawfully explain my true feelings here. When Dr. Roller and her tech came in (which they seem to be a dynamic duo>>def>> successful, powerful, or revered pair of people) we explained some of what happened. Dr Roller gave us comfort for our loss and eased the situation. She's been great. And the lady at the desk, was kind enough to bring our receipt back in the room..

Not my regular vet. Came in with an appointment - waited for more than 20 minutes after scheduled and then taken to a room. Then waited another 30 minutes before I saw the vet. The tech was nice but was dismissive of my concerns. The vet was very attentive. After leaving my animal overnight for observation and confirmation of my concerns - I was given some medication without diagnosis.

Truly a wonderful family animal clinic. They are honest , very reasonably priced and when one of my animals has had an emergency , they see us the same day . The facility is very clean, they have in house bloodwork and digital X-ray . Dr. Harrison repaired our dogs ACL and our pup is doing fantastic. We have been to many other clinics in the area , and we will never leave this one . It's worth the drive for us .

Ripoff GO somewhere else. My brother who is a military veteran has cat that was sick. Took cat to this place charged $336 could find Nothing wrong with him. Male Dr called and said to bring in fecal sample. Could not do for a couple of weeks. Brother very ill diabetic etc. Anyway brother saw worms and called vet they said need sample could not give him anything. WHAT?????. TRIED TO DROP OFF FECAL AND WANTED MORE MONEY. ALL THEY CARE IS MONEY. WeVE BEEN GIVING CAT OTC WORM MEDICINE BUT NOT WORKING. My brother does not have any more money to spend on his baby. Double and you baby a favor. Dont go to this place.

UPDATE 12/2017 Ask for a Tech appt. Unless your pet NEEDS the attention of a Dr. a Vet Tech is the quickest in and out. Especially for routine appointments, vaccinations. SLOW SLOW SLOW Be prepared to wait in the back room. Arrive 30 minutes late and you'll be on time.

I've been a customer of Belair Veterinary Hospital since 2001 when my family got our first dog. Goldie had a long, healthy, happy 15 years because she lived in a good home and had the best care at Belair. We now have 2 cats, Ginger and Abra (sisters) and Belair continues to provide excellent care for our girls. Boarding services are also offered at reasonable rates. It's comforting to know when we're out of town, our 4-legged loved ones get the best care with professionals who know them!

Dr Harrison is an expert in animal surgery, really takes his time and is not just about the $. I've taken all of my dogs to him and won't be going anywhere else. I've been taking my dog there for over a decade. The staff is always friendly and helpful. They kept my dog healthy and even performed surgery that saved my dog's life and allowed us to spend another five wonderful years with her. We recently had to put her down due to a worsening illness. We didn't want her to suffer any longer. They helped us make a difficult decision. They were comforting and accommodating. They let us take as much time with our dog. I couldn't imagine being doing that anywhere else.

We just moved to the area and needed to get our limping 2 y/o golden/lab mix in quickly. We were very sad to leave our vet in Vegas, as they were phenomenal and left big shoes to fill. We saw one glowing review and decided to give this place a try. The staff is all courteous, the techs are knowledgeable and friendly, and Dr. Roller exceeded our expectations. She got down on the floor with our baby girl and spent a good 15 minutes checking her paws and legs. After that, she spent another 10-15 minutes chatting with us about a game plan for treatment. We were so happy with our first visit that we took our 12 year old yellow lab in a few weeks later when his meds were due for refills (he has bad hips). She was running late (maybe 20-30 mins) due to another complicated case, but was apologetic and still took the time to give my boy a thorough exam, chat things over with me, and explain everything thoroughly . I want to say she spent at least 20 mins with us, but I honestly think it was closer to 30 when all was said and done. She has also called several times times since our babies were seen to discuss test results and to check in and see how things are going, each phone call lasting 5-10 minutes. I can't speak for the other docs in the office, but based on my experiences with Dr. Roller, I would HIGHLY recommend BelAir Vet. Wait times were not unbearable, and even the longer wait in my opinion was worth it if it means I can ensure such GREAT care for our two dogs.

I could not say kinder things about the entire staff at Belair Veterinary Hospital. After moving back to the area and in need of a vet for one of my two cats, I was recommended to try Belair Veterinary Hospital by my parents who had taken our family pets there for years. This past April, my older cat had become suddenly ill and I took her in for an appointment which they were able to make for us right away. They worked with my past two vet hospitals to obtain past medical records in a seamless manner. Thanks to some wonderful care and advice from the vets, vet techs, and other staff members, I was able to enjoy an additional 9 months with my beloved furry family member. Sadly, she became ill again this past December right before Christmas and after trying several different things without getting any stronger, I had to make one of the hardest decisions any pet owner has to make. Dr. Roller and the rest of the staff were there with me every single step of the way and were there to listen as I questioned the best options for end of life care. I am thankful to them for the extra time I was able to spend with my cat as well as the class and caring kindness each staff member exemplified through the very end. (Including a beautiful condolence card with personal notes from everyone.) If you want to trust a place to love and care for your furry family member like you would, Belair Veterinary Hospital is the place to go.
