Here you have all the reviews of people who purchase the products and services of Bay Ridge Animal Hospital (Veterinarian) in Maryland.
At the moment this firm receives a score of 4.6 stars over 5 and that rating has been calculated on 45 reviews.
As you can see its rating is nearly the best one, and it is based on a large number of feddbacks, so we can conclude that the rating is very accurate. If many people have bothered to value when they are satisfied with the business, it works.
You know that we do not usually bother to place evaluations when they are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Veterinarian is classified in the category of Veterinarian.
Elise Powell is the smartest, intuitive animal loving Vet ever! Her assistant Kristin was such a caring lady who went the extra mile with my old dog. I am hooked!
Single handedly, the worst customer service in town. After 4 years of misery, we are so happy with Annapolis Veterinary & Wellness on Jennifer Rd. You could not pay me to go back to this place. I've never been disrespected more as a customer, than I was by the manager here.
I just got a new puppy so we were there for her first puppy visit. Everyone was very kind and paid lots of attention to her. Doctor was very thorough - I think we made a great choice. These folks came highly recommended by a friend of mine that has been taking her dogs to BRAH for over 15 years.
Wonderful staff! Still expensive but, not as bad as other places
I absolutely love working with Bay Ridge Animal Hospital. They are prompt to answer my calls and are happy to answer questions I have over the phone. It's easy to schedule appointments, and I can almost always schedule something for the same day. It's been a pleasure working with them!
Have been taking our dog there for 3 years. Took our dog there this fall for a flu vaccination. We just wanted a flu shot. Was told they "had to give our dog a full exam" in order to give the shots, even though she just had an exam 5 months ago. OK. Our dog does get agitated at the vet, so the doctor (new doctor) was only able to give the flu vaccination during the visit, and was unable to give any sort of exam. Literally gave the flu shot, and nothing else. Took 2 minutes at the most. Clinic, including Dr. Longo, completely unwilling to waive the $55 "exam fee", which is separate from the $67 flu shot (most expensive of the 4 other clinics I called). I spoke to several people at the clinic until finally speaking with Dr. Longo. I simply asked if there was any way to waive the $55 exam fee since there was no actual exam done. I understand the reason for not being able to do the exam was because my dog is considered "aggressive", but why am I paying for a service that wasn't completed? She couldn't care less, didn't care to show any empathy whatsoever, and immediately offered to transfer our records to another clinic. Great customer service! In addition, they were steadfast in adhering to their "policy" of charging us ANOTHER $55 for another "exam" for the 2nd portion of the flu vaccination, regardless of whether or not an exam was done or not. Bottom line: couldn't care less about being ethical and charging for what was done, and super quick to tell me "if you don't like it, take your business elsewhere." The right thing to do would be to not gouge me for money, and maybe make an effort to keep a client. At the minimum, work with me a little. The wrong thing to do is to just "stick to your policy". I am not an unreasonable person, and do not write reviews hardly ever. Just want it known how this clinic treated this former customer. Plenty of other Annapolis area clinics. Re: Owners response below - Again, totally understand your concerns with being able to safely give an exam. Which is why your doctor didn't give an exam. She came in, gave the shot, and did not do any of the things you mention below. That's the point, you charged us $55 for an exam that didn't happen, intended to charge us another $55 two weeks later for the same thing, and were completely unwilling to reduce the charges or work with us. Give me one other business where you get charged for services not received, but just because you wanted the money. Really, what was the point of charging us? As nice and caring as you make your responses online look, you and the practice manager were the complete opposite when speaking with me on the phone. I tried to reason with you, you tried to get rid of us. I get it, save face in public. Just bad business practice, but hey, it's your business. And we did consult with other practices, and they said what you guys are doing is borderline unethical and that we should report you to AAHA which we intend to. Thanks for the response.
We opted for Bay Ridge Animal Hospital when we first got a dog because it is close by. They could move their practice and we would still go. Dr. Longo and all the staff here are incredible and fair. They are not seeking profit but reasonable and smart animal care. I love that they are close and would recommend them to anyone looking for veterinary care.
Dr. Wozinak was extremely rude to me when I took my dog in for a routine checkup. My pup is very friendly and NEVER scared of anyone, including vets. But he wouldn’t go near her without me forcing him which should have been the first red flag. She answered all of my concerned and important questions about medications and a possible surgery my dog may have needed as if I were an idiot child that she didn’t feel like dealing with. She spent all of 5 minutes with us even though there were no other patients in the waiting room. When I spoke to my dad about it, he confirmed that Dr. Wozinak was rude and belligerent to him as well. I’m definitely taking my dog elsewhere next time.
Very happy to have found BRAH after we got our first dog, over five years ago. They have been attentive, caring, & compassionate. And, on our latest visit, they were able to fit us in for a last-minute late-Saturday afternoon appointment.
They treated 2 cats & 2 dogs over a 20 year period. Dr. Longo, Dr. Wozniak & their team are wonderful. I always felt they had my pets' best interests at heart.
Great staff and good vets. We'll be bringing our boy back.
Sally saw Dr. Wozniak. She was great. She answered all my questions and was very good with Sally. We received her blood results promptly the very next day. Thank you Bay Ridge Animal Hospital and Dr. Wozniak!
These people always take great care of your animals and you it's a great place. They really care.
The doctor was very knowledgeable and informed me about the problem without condescending to me..
We’ve been taking our dogs to BRAH for less than a year but have been very impressed with their efficiency, compassion, warmth and their transparency with pricing. Always easy to schedule and change appointments as needed. Highly recommended.
Great service. They've done great work for my dogs and they aren't trying to rip you off.
Great care. Kind doctors and techs. Always availability for short notice appointments
Everyone was friendly, helpful, and compassionate. The cost was reasonable, and my dog has recovered well from her injury. I especially appreciate Dr. Powell and Dr. Ngwira, both of whom helped my dog in her recovery.
Rico is the best tech ever
Dr. Longo is great at her profession.
This veterinary practice deserves a 5 star rating in every way. The staff is always cheerful and accommodating. Dr. Wozniak is our vet and she is 100% AMAZING! She is always willing to discuss pet concerns and provide information. She never rushes through appointments. She willing accommodates fearful pets with calming techniques and allows pet parents to support their pet during blood draws and other tough procedures. She is kind and very personable. I'm very lucky to have her as my veterinarian.
Wouldn't trust anyone else with my pets. My English Bulldog lived a long happy life (13 1/2 years). My cat is 16 years old and still going!
They love my dog so I love them. It's that simple.
Dr. W was awesome, took great care of my dog's nail problem. Everyone was friendly, the fees were very reasonable, and I know my dog received fantastic care. We are new to the area and are "sooo" stoked to know that our pets have a great place to go for health issues. BRAH rocks!
Everyone is friendly and very friendly to ur pet
These guys and girls are a class act and take great care of you 4 legged family members.
I’ve always taken my dog to Vetco clinics for his shots and after we moved to Annapolis and he’s almost 6 years old we decided he needed to have a relationship with a vet. Elise was SO a good with him and chatted with us in the room at his level while giving him treats so he associated her with positives and her tech did the same thing. After he got vaccines, they still hung out on the floor giving him treats. The also told us about the open door policy to take him in if I’m in the area so he doesn’t associate the vet with negative things. I wish we found this vet sooner. They’re amazing and Elise will be seeing us for a very long time
I recently adopted a St. Bernard mix, and did a lot of research into where I wanted his primary care to be. After reading reviews form many different Vet Offices, I decided on BRAH. They helped make his first visit amazing. I am still learning about his habits, especially with other dogs. While I was filling out forms in the waiting room, he got very loud and excited, and messed up some magazines on a table. The staff asked if we would be more comfortable in a room while we waited. Once the exam started, both vets present made my pooch comfortable, and praised him with compliments for doing such a good job for a new situation. I am thrilled with how they performed, and am looking forward to a long and healthy relationship with them. 5 stars all day, easy.
