Finally a Vet you can trust! I've had a few Vet's over the years and was never wowed by them. Most recently, my rescued Poodle was suffering from Pseudomonas ear infection for at least 7 months. I went to visit after visit and then to another specialist in Portland, who ironically, offered the same treatment plan as the other vet. I was $3,000 deep in bills when I decided to call Falmouth Veterinary Hospital. I figured, MY amazing doctor was in Falmouth, maybe they have amazing Vet's too. YES THEY DO! My dogs (5 of them!) LOVE Dr. Whittemore. After only 2 visits and less than a trip to the grocery store, my poor Virgil has relief and is healed!! Our vet even said, "no need to come back unless you see the infection again" AMAZING! most want to collect on you 1 more time. This is as close to you family doctor as you can get for your furry babies. All of the staff is kind, patient and knowledgeable. The office is also very nice and clean. Thank you FVH!!!

When I say, "Doctor!!" to my standard Poodle, Jussi(u-c) he becomes delirious with joy. Dr Oonagh Wack came highly recommended to me as jussi has Addisons Disease, a condition not unknown to Poodles, and a specialty of Dr Wacks. She has changed both of our lives with innovation and sensibility., daring to alter/change some meds, and suggest other roads to chart for him. 5 months after our arrival at Falmouth Vet jussi suffered a debilitating and painful disc injury while at play, and Dr Wack after an xray encouraged a temperate, restrained course of action. After almost 7 weeks he's incredibly improved, hopping onto his chair, the sofa, and car. The entire staff from technicians to office people are enthusiastic, generous with sympathy and advice, and always welcoming to all. I cannot recommend Falmouth Vet more energetically. They have given a challenged poodle a new canine perspective on health! Thank you!

This place is the closest thing to a family doctor for your pet. Nice, clean and modern building with a separate waiting area for cats. I have a LOT of pets and they take care of all of them. I have a couple of favorites for doctors, but they all really know their stuff. Because they are in Falmouth, they've a bit pricier than some, but worth it.

My cats have been patients at the FVH since the '80s, and I love the vets there, and their attendants, and the front desk folk. I've always had positive experience even at the very saddest of sad occasions. Dr. Stiles was my first vet. Just yesterday I was with Dr. Whittemore. Loved her, loved him, loved everyone in between during all the years. I also love the physical space, and the quiet Cat Corner while waiting for the appointment. My cat, in his carrier, can watch, if he wants, the fish in the aquarium right opposite his carrier. I don't know if he does, but I'm glad it's there.

We have been bringing our family dogs to Falmouth Vet Hospital since 1989. We were so happy with Drs. Stiles, Birmingham and Andrews we were unsure about the new docs who are now in charge. No worries were necessary. Dr. Wack is exceptional! The front office staff, the Vet techs and Madison the groomer are also outstanding. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone who loves their pets.

When it is time for your animal's checkup, they will send you a friendly reminder and their online system is quick and easy for scheduling their next appointment. The receptionists at the front reception desk are always very courteous and willing to help in any way they can!
