I have been bringing my pets to burnt Hills for at least 10 years and the vet techs and doctors are great. Unfortunately some of the front desk staff are unhappy and less than eager to help you. I have experienced this on numerous occasions. So if you can ignore the not so welcoming check in, you will be satisfied with your animals treatment.

Burnt Hills Veterinary Hospital is the best of the best. I’ve been to a few vets in the past and I will never take my animals anywhere but here. The staff and doctors have so much heart and compassion, Dr. Elson and Dr. Falls especially. They genuinely have you and your pets best interest in mind and you can instantly feel that. I can’t recommend them enough and my gratitude for this place is immeasurable.

The best of care for the best of friends. Exceptional doctors, receptionists, boarding caregivers and veterinary technitions. My dog gets over excited when we're two blocks away from arriving at the hospital. By the time we pull into the parking lot he's pacing back and forth on the back seat of the car, whining with anticipation. It seems like EVERYONE knows his name when we enter the building.

I originally posted a 5 star rating. After a couple of years of visits and boarding, I have become frustrated with waiting. I have waited at least a half an hour to board my dog and for my dog to be seen at check ups. I was told the first time and last time it was due to an emergency( which I totally understand occasionally), but it really is standard to wait this long and to check in for boarding is WAY too long. Also new phone system has kinks and I was put on perpetual hold, where I had to call back and I still didn't get through that day. That being said, I do feel everyone there is concerned for the animals' well being.

I’ve been going to Burnt Hills Veterinary Hospital since November 2017. Dr Elson has been great with my dog who is 15 and has Ivdd issues and a knee cap issue. I’m at Burnt Hills every two weeks for acupuncture and laser therapy. My dog also goes to another Veterinarian Hospital for grooming every two weeks. I decided to take my dog to Burnt Hills because of the state of art equipment. Not only is Elson good with my dog but patient with me since I’m an over protective pet owner. Dr Clement was also excellent with my dog when he had conjunctivitis. He was also a very caring Vet. Dr Rizzo

I've known Pete Farrell since I was a child. He has always been a great guy and an incredibly knowledgeable vet. He did amazing work with my parents' dog, Viva, who suffered from numerous ailments over the years. I also want to give a shout-out to Dr. MacNaughton. He performed emergency surgery on Viva and took such wonderful care of her. He was so compassionate and kind. Viva adored him. Thank you to both of these great vets and to their marvelous staff.

Not only is this hospital huge with lots of doctors but they have state of the art equipment and are capable of providing services other veterinarians have to refer out to have done. Dr. Godin was awesome! My chinchilla had an eye issue and I was stressed out. Dr. Godin calmly walked me through what he was going to do to check out the eye, all while he was being careful and comforting to my little fluffball. After examining the eye he explained what could have been the cause, and things to watch for with the treatment he prescribed. A week later on the re-check he was great again and treated both me and the chinchilla with respect and empathy. I can't recommend him enough for the times when your little pets need a professional exam. 5 stars!
