I took my cat Louis to do his annual check-up and get a refill on medication. After waiting 20 minutes after my appointment was scheduled for I finally ended up in a room. I waited close to ten minutes again before seeing the vet. Dr. Pierce decided not to continue the medication my cat had been on for close to 2 years, so I needed to speak to my wife about it on the phone since she could not make the appointment. I stepped out of the room due to horrible cell reception and when I came back 2 minutes later Dr Pierce had gone to see other clients. Dr. Pierce came back about 5 minutes later and we debated keeping my cat on the meds that have been keeping him from throwing up 5x daily. We agreed to ween off of the medication but he would not tell me what the next medication was. Upon checkout I realized I had been charged for a visit when I was only there for a recheck on my dog and a physical exam for my cat. The office manager called me after I departed to say that because I had occupied the room longer than their standard appointment, despite their 'free' recheck policy, I would be charged 45 dollars. I explained my side of things and the office manager, Jennifer, informed me very hotly that they would not be removing the charge despite their policy. I informed her that my wife and I were not going to do business with a place that treated customers in such a fashion. She snidely said that that was just fine and asked if I wanted the records emailed over. I confirmed that and she hung up the phone. If you are okay with being charged for things you didn't pay for and dealing with an office manager who is unwilling to follow their written policies, then this is your place. If not, look elsewhere.
