I absolutely love this place! We had an emergency with our Golden Retriever and Dr Brown assessed his symptoms very quickly and was able to operate and save our baby Ziggy’s life! Everyone from the front desk to the techs and veterinarians are so knowledgeable and friendly. We recently moved here and finding a vet for our fur babies is stressful. I believe I made the right decision entrusting them with their care! Thank you!

They take care credit as well and are willing to work with what is most necessary to not overwhelm worried pet parents with costs.

During a physical exam the Dr. found a mass in my dogs chest. They took an X-ray and it was a large liver tumor. We opted to have it removed and he is doing so well. They took such good care of my fur baby before, during and after his surgery. They even called and checked on him after he was home. They saved his life and I am so greatful for the care and attention he received.

The staff at Pontchartrain Animal Hospital go above and beyond in their treatment of my fur baby and myself. I brought my cat(dog) into their vet on short notice and they were able to see us no problem. When my pet's test results weren't great, they called my cell immediately and had me bring her back in and hospitalized her to monitor her situation. They called me no less than twice a day with her progress and made time (on my schedule) for to sit and visit with her as long as I needed to while she was there overnights. After she was released I received calls to check on her. The staff treat you like family and when I was a sobbing mess bringing my pet in for her treatment, they were nothing but kind, generous, and made sure I knew she was in good hands. And she was. Nothing but love and great things to say about the doctors and staff at PAS.

I am extremely over protective of my kids (my pets) they mean the absolute world to me . I will do anything it takes to keep them safe and happy! Which is why I come to this hospital . I don't trust many people around them . But I trust the nurses and doctors here . They care! They actually Care about your pets well being . After having an emergency with my puppy I left there feeling a lot less stressed . Days after I received a call from them checking up on my pup . That meant the absolute world to me . Customer service at its finest! The doctor even took his time out to speak to me and definitely put my worries at ease . My kids will forever be a patient here ! XOXO . - PS . We’ve used Pontchartrain Animal Hospital for our vet care needs for a couple of years. After recently acquiring a stray puppy we had her spayed here. The knowledgeable and friendly staff put us right as ease for our dogs surgery. They kept us informed and were prompt to answer a question I had after picking our puppy up and getting home. It’s standard practice here to keep your k-9friend overnight after surgery to keep them comfortable and manage pain. This is not standard practice other places. They treat our pets like they are their own. We cannot say enough great things about Pontchartrain Animal Hospital.

It's easy to tell that everyone who works there truly cares for animals. I go there periodically to pick up my sister In-law's dog after boarding and they always make sure I'm who is supposed to be picking him up and give me all the details of his stay. I'd recommend them to anyone.
