If I could give 0 stars I would. I and my pets have been clients of Dr. Hass for many years. Her staff has become a revolving door. The incident of today, has left me shaken and hurt. If you are of the same opinion of your pets as I am of mine, they are family. I have brought my fur baby, Abbie, to Dr. Hass for some years for a "show nail cut." This a cut of the nails same as show dogs. I initially had no trouble. However, the last 3 visits have been so inconsistant as to merit mention. One time, nails cut too long. Another, no pain medicine. Today, no oral pain meds, just shot. When I get a bill from the hospital, EVERYTHING is itemized. Not there. They just do it, and charge you when you come to pick up your pet. Like that 19.95 charge for sedation for a cat neuter that was not identified when I inquired about the charge. But today, the unthinkable happened. I was told by a tech," I am the one who does the FU__ING procedure!" I have been a RN for 37 years. I have worked in the most stressful and demanding areas in medicine. NEVER did use language even close to that. I have patients screaming obscenities, families irate, over wrought and voicing their concerns in less than an exemplary manner. I was none of these. I just sought answers to legitimate questions. I no longer blindly accept what is being done to my pets. Did she apologize? Only after Dr.Hass was present and I expressed my horror. The statements she made after that comment were wasted. Any education she attempted to provide were useless. Even Dr.Hass, with a defiant stance and arms folded tightly across her chest was just plain RUDE ! Her abruptness was not well received. I could have presented my concerns in a more understanding tone. I buried my father Saturday. I am having major back surgery. I am in constant pain. No excuses. I just ask that every one be addressed as if any of this or more is happening in their lives. Her office can kindly cuss at someone else. If you can't handle the job, GET OUT.
