We live in Paducah and go to Dr. Johnson for our furbabies' care because we recognize how special it is to find a vet clinic and staff who really take the time to listen and shoot straight with you no matter the prognosis. My mom who also lives in Paducah started taking her animals here as the popular local clinic we used to use has unfortunately gone downhill in availability and customer service since changing hands. We love that no appointments are necessary at Lakeland and anytime you walk in they get you in right away. The front desk staff and techs are all always incredibly accommodating and remember you and your animals as if they are family. And what can I say about Dr. Johnson that others haven't? He is incredibly down to earth, experienced, patient, and honest. I have never felt so comfortable with a vet in my history of being a pet owner as he is gentle and sweet and has the experience to determine and implement the best treatment possible. I would recommend (and do!) this clinic to anyone. Truly exceptional care.

Dr. Johnson was very thorough and compassionate in the care of my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Years ago, he also performed surgery on our German Shepherds back hips and she is 10 now and still running around like a puppy!

I love Lakeland Animal Hospital!! They have saved 2 of my dog's now and given the absolute best care. My Morkie had to stay for 3 days with a bad pancreatitis scare and they allowed us to come visit her each day and love on her. They explained everything that was going on with her and I was able to understand without feeling confused. All of the staff are so friendly and genuinely care about the animals. This is definitely our vet for as long as we live here. All 3 of our dogs go there and have been sick at some point and they have always made them better.

Love this place! I travel 40 minutes just so my cats can be seen here. My cat broke his leg and within no time he was back to running around and playing. I also brought in a stray kitten that had been ran over and the vet did everything he could to save the little guy without costing me a leg and an arm. I would highly recommend!

Dr Bert is awesome as well as his staff. Due to situations beyond their control I rehomed a hyper 95lb 2 yr old. Not an easy patient our forst couple of visits and they handled him flawlessly. P.S. A couple weeks in, Zeis just needed some time spent with him and is doing great too
