My dog has a very rare condition. After several surgeries, countless medications and every Vet scratching their heads, I decided to travel down another path and consider the options of holistic medicine. After hours of research, I found Holistic Veterinary Care. I really liked their website more so than any others. It was very informative with a bit of a personal touch. They seem to really have the passion for what they do and helping animals this way so I filled out all the necessary forms. They called me the very next day and scheduled an appointment! The consultation was amazing. They made sure, above all else, that my dog was comfortable. Leaving essential oils to fill the room to create a calming atmosphere. We discussed my dog's history and they did a brief examination. After awhile, my dog was so comfortable, he eventually fell asleep. Which has never happened in a Vet's office! They gave me an herb to try on him and some samples of food. They also taught me a healing massage to try on him called Tui Na. So far he is taking the herbal medicine well and he loves the massages. Keeping fingers crossed, I have a good feeling about this. Hoping his condition improves! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking into holistic medicine for their pet. The Vet's are amazing! They really made our visit comfortable and their passion for what they do really shines through. After so many Vets throwing their hands in the air in defeat, it was refreshing to meet these people who are as determined and hopeful as I am to resolve my dog's issue. Positive thinking is powerful!

Dr. Bevins has treated my 13 year old beagle with chiropractic care and acupuncture. My beagle has also been taking some dietary supplements. This has helped her itching problems. Dr. Bevins takes times to get to know your pet. I'm so pleased with the care my beagle receives at Holistic Veterinary Care.

A friend told me about this vet. Dr Bevins is very nice, takes the time with your pet and with you. My dog had cold laser therapy for a wound that just wouldn't heal. I had tried all kinds of treatments, but the laser healed the area in a couple months. I would highly recommend this holistic vet. Her office is very clean and set up to calm animals that are nervous or afraid. She offers many alternative therapies.

My aging dog has been at Holistic Veterinary Care a couple of times. Jamie greets you with a smile. You can tell Jamie loves her job. Dr. Bevins listens to her clients. My dog has received acupuncture, chiropractic work, and given supplements /herbs. Dr. Bevins is helping my dog to get off some medication that shouldn't be used long term. So far it is working. There is less scratching than when my dog was on the meds. Dr. Bevins doesn't replace you pets primary vet. But works the holistic side to help your pet. I'm very pleased with the treatment for my dog and will continue taking her to see Dr. Bevins.

The staff at Holistic Veterinary Care are awesome and have taken great care of our dog Bodhi. Bodhi was a rescue and had some severe separation anxiety and GI issues when he joined our family. Dr. Bevins performed chiropractic adjustments, provided some herbal remedies, and gave us nutritional guidance which led to significant improvements in all his symptoms within days and really helped him to acclimate to our home. The whole team is great and I highly recommend them to any pet owner!

Dr. Bevins helped my 4 yr old GSP with a health issue. And Jethro is a nervous wreck with vets, ever since he got a vaccine at 3mos old. He absolutely adores Dr Bevins, which makes me so much more comfortable with taking my dogs there. We are taking our new GSP puppy to her. Will be doing limited vaccines and titers to help keep our 4 legged kids as healthy as possible. I would recommend her to all pet owners. She and her staff are WONDERFUL!

We've taken our 13 year old pup to see Dr. Bevin's twice now, and we've had a great experience both times. Our pup started having back problems in the past year. She also has a collapsing trachea and anxiety and we've tried countless medicines for all three issues. We noticed a significant improvement in all three issues, but particularly with her back and coughing caused by her trachea. We've been able to reduce a lot of the meds our dog was taking and she's doing better than she has in a while and continues to make improvements. This is certain not a magic cure, but if you're pup is hurting and your tired of trying medicine after medicine, give this place a try! It's not cheap, but we've found it to be more affordable than constantly changing and adding meds. Also, Dr. Bevins and her assistant are just really kind and attentive. Appointments are never rushed and it's obvious they are passionate about the work they do. That's not easy to find!
