I've had okay experiences with the actual Vets that work there, HOWEVER, if it were up to me the front end would be restaffed. The intake women/counter workers are rude and have zero compassion. A class or two of public relations is desperately needed. I have no idea why people go back there when we have better choices for veterinarian care.

Best vet ever!! Joey is the only one that has ever seen my Shih-tzu Hallieberry and she’ll never see anyone but him. He is amazing. We had a scare with her and she was very ill. Being as she’s 13 going on 14 we was not sure what to do. Joey went above and beyond to help her. Honestly, don’t know what we would with out such an awesome vet.

I attend this place with my mother because she takes her dog to the vet here. Her dog is a total terrorist in my opinion who hates everyone but he loves this place. The only reason I give it a 4 out of a 5 stars is because sometimes their medicine prices is cheaper than online sometimes it isn't and you never know when that will be. I understand everyone needs to make money and there is a cost of shipping and handling but I wish at times they would tell us the cost of medicine before we drove to get it than when we got there so I could check it online for her.

I have had terrible experiences with about every Vet in the country. This clinic is the very best care obtainable. "ALL" the people there are courteous and "CARING". They care for my wolf/dogs, and dogs. My Daughter dives all the way here, from Charleston South Carolina to have her animals vetted. Not only is the cost about 1/4 but the care is 4 times better. I would never let anyone else touch my animals unless it ws an emergency and I could not get them to Pikeville.

I was from out of town and my dogs eyes had swollen up the size of gold balls and there are no nearby 24 hour clinics and the other clinics would not take after hour emergency visits from non established patients . Dr. Collins was kind enough to call me back and give me advice on what to do .

They are always so friendly! Does get very busy, very fast but they make sure to do all the can for you. Also if you have ferrets call and make sure they have the shots before going!

My puppy is a 210lbs 5yr old rottie who's retired army. Despite how intimidating he is, the entire stuff treated him incredibly. Their bedside manor was impeccable and not once were we made to feel like we were on a assembly line.

I took my cat Piper bc he had been scratching so bad he was actually putting sores on himself. They gave him a steroid and antibiotic injection. He's doing some better but it's only been a few days. The vet said that it would take a few days for it to start working. I do know he's not scratching as bad and I know he was in misery.

First you'll be greeted by nurses that ignore you for a whole 5 mins. It smells horrible. When you finally get into the waiting room you will sit there for about 2 hours, while your sick dog lays there on the cold nasty floor with nothing to do. No one even comes to tell you that instead of seeing us next, like the doc was supposed to (after 2 hours) , he went to do surgery. When you finally go to ask the nurse how long it will be, she shrugs and has no idea. So we say were leaving and she gives some half assed "sorry".

Best vet's office is conveniently located right off interstate 119 about a mile from the junction of 23 and 119 in Pike county Kentucky. There are always three sometimes four receptionists waiting to process your pet at the front desk. I'm not sure how many support staff are in the back but there are two licensed veterinarians at this facility. This is likely the most experienced, competent veterinarian staff in Eastern Kentucky. I have six cats and have had all of them spayed and neutered here as well as all of their medical needs taken care of. I feel like the medicine here is extravagantly high. For instance, a pill I can get for $0.07 on the internet cost $0.80 a piece here and blood tests that have been run on my cats have been as high as $80 per test.

1 star because i can't give 0. My dog was coughing so i took him to this clinic. I showed up at 9:45 a.m. They put us in a waiting room at 10. It's now 11:45, i'm still sitting in the waiting room. No doctor, no nurse, nobody checking on me. I got tired of waiting & just walked out. If you're a new patient at this place expect to be ignored. There goes 2 & a half hours of my life i'll never get back & now i have to find another doctor tomorrow & do this all over again. Ugh.

Wonderful clinic and staff. I found a stray that had a hurt eye we walked in they treated her eye was very friendly. The medicine they gave us helped her and even told us if it didnt heal to just bring her back n they could remove it. Quoted us a very reasonable price. Her eye healed great. I would highly recommend this clinic. So glad someone recommended them to me. Skip the expensive uncaring vets and go to this place that is reasonable and caring when you need a vet. Loved these dear people they were such a blessing to a dog who was in pain and needed help. She is healed up just fine and now has a home.
