Dr. Jaco saw my cat twice for urine blockage in December 2013 and successfully unblocked my cat twice, but the third blockage was cause for further treatment. Dr. Jaco was very helpful in finding a Vet that would perform a PU surgery on my cat at an extremely affordable rate. I very much appreciate his help and understanding. I have also used this vet for routine vaccinations and boarding for my two dogs and am very happy. They are very upfront about costs and stick to the estimate and I appreciate that.

The staff here is very helpful and professional. The doctors are skilled and communicate well with patients. The prices are fair as well, but no veterinary care is cheap. However, they did refuse to open direct payment plans, and they use a third party credit company to cover debt. If you have no credit history or poor credit and you can’t pay in full, they will not be able to help you much.

We have been taking our fur babies to Companion Animal Hospital for several years. We live an hour away and it is worth every mile we drive. I had to put my sweet Chow to sleep this week and it broke me into a million pieces. Dr.King and his staff were so compassionate and loving. They gave us a paw print and a sympathy card that everyone wrote a personal note in. I have never heard of a vet or staff doing anything like that. I was very touched. We are so thankful for Dr. D King and staff.

This place should not be allowed to do surgeries!!!! I took my beagle in for surgery to remove a large mass from the side of his leg and wanted them to check for a hernia as well. Well they called me mid surgery no hernia but and asked if I wanted them to biopsy a lump they found sure-thank you. Well actually thank you NOT because they did the biopsy and didn't do the leg surgery. When I came to pick him up I found out about this and was like what happened?! They put him under general called me about doing a biopsy so they apparently didn't know what they were doing before they started otherwise his leg would have been done. They then charges me almost $500 for doing a surgery they didn't do!! I would have never had them do a biopsy and put him under for just that! He is ten and I cannot put him under general again anytime soon. So they put my dog through all this confusion and pain for nothing and literally putting him under without know what you are doing. The office called me later and said there was confusion!!!! How is there confusion when my baby's life was put in your hands what if he was put down instead because of your confusion. This place disgusts me! Oh and by the way when I asked if my dog was going blind bc it looked like he had cataracts they said no. Not two months later at another vet agreed he was almost completely blind.

Dr.Jaco saved my pups life. Our 10 year old Westie, Maggie, became very sick while we were at our place on lake.I called and told his staff what was going on with her on a Saturday of Labor day weekend. They instructed me to bring her on.When walked in the door we were taken back to a treatment room immediately. Dr.Jaco came in shortly and discovered she was bleeding rectally.After a few quick blood test diagnosed our Maggie girl .He immediately and started her on IV fluids, antibiotic and steroids. She would not be with us today if had tried to bring her home, She had to stay there for 3 nights but today she is running and playing like her old safe. I highly recommend Dr.Jaco and his wonderful staff.

Our vet Dr. Amanda Swaim is the best. Any time I bring either one of my boxers in Dr. Swaim takes extraordinary care of them while giving them a thorough check up. A couple of months ago we were lucky enough to get a boxer puppy from Dr. Swaim's female boxer and he has brought so much joy into our lives. All I can say is that my family is thankful and blessed to have her as our puppies vet.

My wife and I have brought all of our cat's to Companion for around 8yrs now. It started with my buddy Vash, He has had a lot of leg issues ( Back paw as a kitten, And a broke front paw.) Right now he has issues with Seizures and they call and checked on him, Order the special food he needs, And has his meds ready before we need them. If you love you pet like a child, Then rest assured your child is in AMAZING Hands.

My normal boarder was booked so I called companion Animal they made accommodations for my sweet Blackey and kept him in a room with A/c since hes an inside dog. Hes terrified of bad weather and they even let him stay up front a little bit to make him comfortable. They took wonderful care of my baby and I will definitely use them again.

Called at a moments notice. Like usual with pets. They were able to take me right away without an appointment. Front desk was polite and friendly. Staff is wonderful to work with and Doc really listens to what you have to say. She worked with my pup on his issue and the visit cost was very fair. Rude and sarcastic staff from beginning to end and priced very high for what you get. Also if I hadn't said something about my cat having vaccine, they almost charged me for unnecessary shots and revaccinated my animal for no reason. Than when I complained that I wasn't told to bring shot records, I was told by the doctor that his staff told him they did tell me which was an obvious lie to cover up the mistake. Plenty of other choices for Vet care.

I am new to this area and this veterinary hospital is very close to my home so I gave it a try. I took my kitten in for a minor concern/shots a few months ago and we saw a woman veterinarian who was lovely. I thought we had found our new vet! Then I had to go out of town overnight at a time when my kitten was acting like he didn't feel well. I took him in and explained the situation and then went on my trip. I called in several times to find out how he was doing and kept talking to techs who seemed a little tentative. The next morning I called and was told he wasn't doing much better. I cut the trip short and left earlier than I had planned because I was worried about the cat. What happened when I got there was just bizarre. One person at the desk seemed to think the kitten needed to stay another night. I asked if I could speak with a veterinarian since I had yet to speak to one. He came out and was this weird combination of surly/noncommittal. Then he grabbed my dog (she was inside with me because it was very hot outside) and took her in a room and insisted on trimming her nails (I had done them five days earlier) and expressing her glands. Then when I went to the desk to pay, they tried to charge me for that. Nope. I didn't ask for that and I am not paying. Then, they charged 4% surcharge for using a debit card!!!! I voiced my annoyance with that and said I wouldn't return. The person at the desk said I would need to talk to the doctor. Talk to the doctor? I guess he's available to talk about money but not about my pet. I said I didn't need to speak to him and I went to the parking lot. He came outside!! Omg! I said I didn't need to talk to him and we left. Yesterday, I got a letter from them saying I am no longer a client there (I wouldn't take my pets there for any reason) and he didn't appreciate me talking to the staff like I did. Ummm... I didn't curse or call anyone names. I expressed my disapproval of being charged for something I didn't ask for and for the ridiculous debit card surcharge that I could have avoided if anyone had mentioned it previously. I felt like I stumbled into some strange place where the vet is an egomaniac control freak. Proceed with caution.
