REVIEWS OF Bluegrass Veterinary Specialists + Animal Emergency IN Kentucky

This place is amazing. They saved our fur baby’s life. The staff is absolutely wonderful. After being diagnosed with parvo, they kept her for 2 days for treatment, which was so hard on us. We visited her and called to check on her constantly, and the staff was always super friendly and happy to update us on her condition. They were very loving towards her and took excellent care of her, they celebrated the little victories with us, and overall were just amazing at helping us through this difficult time. I was leery of coming here at first after seeing reviews about pricing, but I’m so very glad we decided to bring her anyways. I knew parvo treatment was expensive to begin with, but it even ended up being $1600 cheaper than what they initially quoted us when we brought her in. I will forever be grateful to these people, and would recommend them to anyone worried about their fur babies’ well-being in a heartbeat.

This was without a doubt, the kindest, most caring staff of any emergency /specialists clinics I’ve been in. My senior Boxer, Cheyenne, crossed the Bridge that Wednesday morning but she did so in an atmosphere of love and kindness that I’ve never witnessed before. I recently received a card from this clinic signed by everyone expressing sympathy for my loss. They had only seen Cheyenne once, that morning, and yet they took the time to send a card signed by each staff member and the vets and you can never know how much that meant to me. I will certainly use this clinic in the future should there be a need. Thank you, Peggy Carbine

Cannot say enough good things about Dr. R, the other vets, and staff. Their care, concern, consideration, and knowledge are superior.

My sweet 15 year old Cocker Spaniel has been treated for heart failure for a few years. We knew that her time was getting short a few weeks ago when adjustments to her medication and other interventions failed to yield improvements in her condition. On Sunday evening, we had to make a decision. Maddie was suffering. She wasn’t eating or drinking. She was unable to get comfortable and her little eyes were full of pain instead of their usual beams of happiness. She could hardly walk more than a few steps without coughing or struggling to breathe. We took Maddie to Bluegrass Veterinary Specialists, in our hearts hoping for a miracle, but knowing there were none. I can’t expess the kindness that was shown to my family and especially to Maddie during the most difficult and sad moments of our lives. We were treated with respect and our sweet Maddie was eased of her suffering with us, her family, holding her. We were given privacy to mourn our loss after her passing (which is still incredibly painful even as the days continue to pass) and she was wrapped in pink and placed in a casket with her name on it for us to bring Maddie home and lay her to rest in the garden she loved. There’s no way to ease the pain of our hearts or to take away the loss of the love Maddie contributed to our lives but Bluegrass Veterinary was there in every way for Maddie and for us when we were in our greatest hour of need. Thank you. We were happy to pay the fees; I’ve read a few reviews saying they are expensive. I found that the price was small compared to the service we received on a Sunday evening on a holiday weekend. Thank you! And as we continue to mourn our precious Maddie, we are thankful she passed peacefully, in the arms of her family.

I rushed my dog to the clinic in a panic in the early hours of the morning this morning. I’m an equine veterinarian and asked to talk the the Dr. on call while I was driving to explain why I was so worried about him. Dr. Goggin was AMAZING! She was immediately out at the car and helped to unload Atticus and rushed him inside to examine him. She performed a thorough examination and did the necessary tests to rule out any potentially serious conditions, all while talking to him (and me) sweetly, and putting my mind at rest. She discharged him with a well thought-out plan of medications and follow-up, and even called this evening to check on him. Dr. Goggin is a smart and caring ER veterinarian and I can’t thank her enough.

We were there with our Bassett Hound for an ultrasound on 10-15-18. We received amazing treatment. The lady at the front desk new who we were before we walked through the door. The Vet Tech Brandi was so passionate & kind. She done awesome with our baby. Then there's Dr. Antu he's extremely knowledgeable. He sat down & talked to us about what had been going on with our dog and what he would be doing that day. After her test he sat down with us & explained in detail what he found & what our next steps would be for her. He answered all our questions & concerns without any hesitation. This whole crew done exceptionally well & if we have to go back we will... Thank You to ALL the staff at Bluegrass!!!

My beloved Bowie was rushed here Sunday night but unfortunately there was nothing that could be done. Staff were very thoughtful in allowing us as much time as needed to say goodbye and were very thoughtful in explaining our options at that point. They were also very thoughtful & kind while picking up my urn. I highly recommend them.

Tony Bellamy

They are excellent! I was very impressed with their expertise and compassion for the animals and their families. Definitely recommend!

My dog was transferred to a higher level of care from my vet to BVS. He stayed for a couple of weeks and Dr. Antu and his staff, their knowledge and attentive nursing care are the reasons my dog lived. In an emergency, I wouldnt go anywhere else.

Bluegrass Veterinary Specialist is a great addition to the Lexington market. In years past, if you needed a specialist for your dog or cat you had to travel to Louisville or Cincinnati or even farther. Dr. Radhakrishnan and his staff are wonderful. They genuinely care for the well being of your treasured furry family members. I love the fact that they are also another after hour emergency option for me that is very close to home and can accommodate any budget.

Brittany Cool

These people are really there for your pets! Super kind and treat your pet very nicely. My 2 yo black Labrador swallowed a silicone baking cup-WHOLE-one evening and I called our local vet (I live in Pikeville, Ky). They told me to watch him and bring him in the next morning. After X-rays it was determined to do an endoscopy with a specialist. I was referred to the Bluegrass Veterinary Specialists in Lexington Ky. Every staff member was very nice to us...even when my dog Jet peed in the floor.

Bluegrass Veterinary Services and Emergency Care has been great! When my dog broke her leg, they were they for us and have been helping us along the way! They seem to genuinely care for your pet and do what they can to make sure they are comfortable! When they put the splint on my puppy, Dr. Daniels even make cute designs on it. She has been great to work with! They also are more affordable then some of the other emergency cares that I have been to in the past who just seem to push you out the door and charge you a lot. Would definitely recommend to anyone!&

Was very pleased with services provided by Dr.'s ,Staff and facility. Everyone we meet and worked with us was caring, helpful and very nice. We have used this Veterinary Specialist three (3) times with Three (3) different cats. Good results with Two (2) of them they are doing ok with the problem they have. We still have them and are happy that we found help with major problems. Sadly we lost one precious cat with a fast acting cancer in his mouth, but we did all that could have been done to save him. Would highly recommend these people in caring for beloved pets of any kind.

Fran Sabad

Great experience during a difficult time. Everyone at BVS was wonderful and caring and we received excellent care.

We have been using BVS for three years for specialist treatment and when needed 24 hour emergency care. I cannot say enough positive about my dog's experience and excellent treatment he receives. Dr. Antu and his staff are all wonderful. Once you enter their facility, you are greeted by warm staff who readily address your concerns. All staff are professional and are committed to offering your pet the best treatment possible. In addition, their love for animals is so obvious that you know immediately that you and your pet will receive treatment with love and dignity. All staff are compassionate about their work. We are very fortunate to have them here in Lexington. I highly recommend them. Check them out. You will be pleased and most fortunate that you did.

I had to take my pet rat into this vet at 11:30 at night to be euthanized. The people were so sweet and comforting. They handled everything professionally and with such gentle care. When I left the exam room, they had lit a candle for a moment of silence. It was definitely a really great place and environment.

Michel-lee R

My pug wasn't going to make it due to a longtime illness. We had called before we left our home and they waited for our arrival. She passed in my arms on the way there. They were caring from the time we walked in and prepared her for us to say our goodbyes. The whole experience was very comforting especially since we decided to cremate her remains. I will definitely come back for urgent animal services.

MsCreid05

Terrible experience. Secretary was very rude and started making accusations instead of asking questions. I would not recommend in a stressful situation especially an emergency.

Nicole Wolfe

This place is amazing. My pup had to stay overnight due to eating chocolate covered espresso beans. The staff was so friendly and understood that they were taking care of my baby. They told me to call as much as I wanted. I only called 3 times but each time they were sweet and gave me great updates. I hope we never have to go back for obvious reasons but if the need came up we would go back to them in a heartbeat!

Jackie Reed

BVS was beyond kind and understanding. My cat had been suffering for a while with diabetes issues we just couldn't get under control and an infection we couldn't seem to diagnose. He had been losing weight and growing weaker. I came home one day and he was barely responsive. I had to rush him to a vet for emergency care. I had never been there before, but when I came in the office admin dropped everything and rushed to help. She took him straight back and made sure he was being helped before she asked me to fill out anything. While I was waiting she went over everything with me and showed me to an exam room. I was kept updated by the staff and doctors the entire time. I ended up having to put him down that day, but the concern and compassion that I was shown was amazing. Yeah it was expensive, but to be honest, I don't think they charged me as much as they could have, and I am grateful for that. I would highly recommend them in the case of an emergency.

Julie Caudill

The associates at BVS helped me through a very tough time when I had to make a very difficult decision about the care of my senior dog, Annie. They were very supportive and very caring through the entire process and provided the best possible care for my baby. Since that time, I've used their ER services on two different occasions and have never been disappointed with the quality of care and level of compassion. The availibility of their expertise provides me great peace of mind. I will always remain grateful for the kindness and care exhibited by the staff.

Jason South

Amazing staff and physicians at BVS who helped us through a very tough time when we had to make very difficult decisions regarding our Boston Terrier of 12 years Chloe. They diagnosed her with lymphoma and were very supportive, knowledgeable, and caring through the entire process. They provided her the best possible care. We will always be grateful for their kindness and loving care of our Chloe. Special thank you to Dr Radhkrishnan and Dr Alayna Alford. Jason & Kim S.

The staff at Bluegrass Veterinary Specialist are caring and professional. I have taken my pets there several times and they are wonderful. I recommend them highly.

Marie Noel

I love this clinic! So friendly and knowledgable, and the veterinarians genuinely care about their patients, clients and staff.

Lexington Lettering

SO kind and accommodating. The atmosphere is also very calm for an emergency clinic! They treated my sweet pit like their own!

Olivia Moore

Staff was great. Dr Edwards was great. Only issue I had was that they "gave" us a can of cat food and then charged us $4.22 for it.

Lee Paulson

My beloved and old Sammy clearly was dying. My regular vet wouldn't see him (it was Saturday and they have short hours) and told me to take him to Bluegrass. This practice is kind, caring, and knowledgeable. Sammy was barely alive when I got him to Bluegrass. Treatment was punctual, the staff was very kind, and I'd definitely use Bluegrass again (and not just for emergencies). It seems that some reviews are negative because costs are explained up front. Geez, people. I've always had a bunch of dogs, and sticker shock is not a good feeling--should I sell my human kids to pay for my dogs? I appreciate knowing in advance what I'm in for. My thanks to BVS for an excellent practice.

Ryan Reed

This office went above and beyond for my dog .I highly recommend using them if you are looking for a vet.

Anissa Martinez

My pup was having issues with his leg, so I went on in. Paperwork was simple, took a bit to get him in which was to be expected since there was a dog before us. Overall it took about an hour for them to look and say it was just a sprain and give him some pills. This is a pretty pricey vet and I would most likely choose somewhere else if he were to be hurt again. Vet was nice but the staff was very dismissive and check out time took longer than anything. I stood there for a good 5 to 10 minutes before they got to me and i was the only one there checking out! If you have the patience, money and this is the only vet near by I guess id recommend them. Other than that look somewhere else.

Heather Tierney

We deal with Bluegrass Veterinary Specialists on a daily basis and they have never failed to be compassionate, professional and caring. I would not hesitate to take my own pets there. Thanks for all you all do!!

Madalyn Collins

Outstanding care-- I've had to leave my dog overnight several times and I know he is so well taken care of. Every doctor does such a good job of explaining to me what is going on so there's no confusion. Great about keeping you updated, give wonderful instructions and information when you leave. I have taken him for regular consultations and emergency care and we have both been treated so well by every staff member. I appreciate that they take your budget into account and will work with you to do what you can do- no judgement. Recommend extremely highly.

Cannot say enough good things about Dr. R, the other vets, and staff. Their care, concern, consideration, and knowledge are superior.

Jeanette McCracken

Absolutely appalled by their lack of concern for a sick animal and their indifference towards owners. More interested in making a dollar than being professional and caring. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!

Paul Russell

After going to another 24 veterinary facility 2 day prior to my visit with BVS, I was very pleased with the staff and treatment at Bluegrass Veterinary Specialists + Animal Emergency. Their treatment and service was top notch and I feel that my pet was property diagnosed and looked after at this location. They also provided an detailed and itemized treatment option list so you knew exactly what fit into your budget with out any bait and switch that I had experienced with the other 24 hr veterinary facility I had visited.

Wes Walker

The staff are caring, understanding and thorough. I would return here for any emergency with my dog (though hopefully not necessary)!

BB Sup

This place is great! I had been to one other emergency care clinic in the past when my cat couldn't stop vommiting; it was a horrible experience. BVS was SO much better and they had some of the most friendliest staff members! The Vet went above and beyond when it came to giving us an explanation of why our cat was sick. She spent a great deal of her time making sure we covered all of the possible causes and treated our cat like a medical doctor would treat our child! Would recommend to anyone. Very pleased!

Bill Penn

They helped us through a very stressful and heartbreaking experience. Everyone was so caring and knowledgeable. We were given the information we needed and they supported our decisions. Would highly recommend them!!!

Lacy Danielle Lawhon

I cannot begin to express my gratitude to the staff of BVS for their compassion and warmth. They were beyond comforting and understanding.

Caroline Fields

BVS has provided excellent care to both of my dogs who required emergency care. They were available at all hours (day or night) to answer questions and provide updates. Both of my dogs had full recoveries after their compassionate and skilled care.

Victoria

After spending over $1000 here in one day to try to save our cat, sadly he rapidly passed in their care from FIP. I do believe they did try to do all they could but I know FIP is hard to combat and it's always fatal in the end. I do have to thank them for trying though. They are very pricey but emergency vets always are because they are trying to save your pet the best they can. The vet was very sweet after Mack passed and she couldn't stop apologizing, which shows she cared. I know it's just as hard for them as it is for pet owners because they don't want to lose animals under their care. Thank you Bluegrass Veterinary for trying to do all you could! I hope I don't ever have to use your emergency services again but you will be contacted if the need ever comes up again for my family. <3

ambie243

I am very impressed with the care my Rosie received at BVS. We were taken straight to a room. Bianca and Dr Basham were great. They listened and then gave me different treatment options. I hope I don't need to go back, but I would definitely recommend them, and go back if I had to! Thanks again ladies!

Elizabeth Carr

I was so thrilled with the care my puppy received at BVS. Staff was just wonderful! Everyone from those in reception to Dr. Daniel was great. Dr. Daniel really took time to explain my options to me and answer all of my questions throughout the whole process. She kept me in the loop throughout his surgery and recovery. I am so thankful for the wonderful care that Dr. Daniel and the entire BVS staff gave to my dog. I could tell that everyone I encountered was a true animal lover. So many staff members stopped what they were doing to come love on my pup. I know he got stellar care and I will absolutely be taking him back if we need anything else in the future. If you're looking for a fantastic vet office, you found it!

Sherri Matheny

BVS was there for us when our dog had an emergency with her eye. Pressure had built up and she was in extreme pain. The staff and doctors were excellent with her as well as understanding of our anxiety. I have recommended that all my friends keep their number handy for emergencies.

Jenni Waldrop

I have taken THREE cats to BVS in the last year (not sure what our cat luck is lately but ok, we'll roll with it). BVS was just beyond amazing. They let me come and visit our cats multiple times a day while they were hospitalized. My older cat, 13, came in because he wasn't eating, and they really did everything possible to get him to bounce back and he did!! It's 4 months later, and my little guy is happily sleeping next to me -- no more meds, and just as healthy as ever! Our kitten was brought in on the first day we got him -- he was feral and I hit him with my car. I couldn't just leave him, so we scooped him up and as soon as we arrived BVS swooped into action. They got him into trauma, gave him fluids, and got him all warm, toasty and calm within just a few minutes (this was a feral kitten, mind you! So that seemed like quite a feat). Ultimately, the little kitten was sent home with meds and he's been happily living with us, far away from cars, ever since. Throughout this whole process of our cat karma going haywire, I've met so many of the vets and staff that we know each other by name. I'm super happy with how much they put into caring for my cats, and they work really hard to do everything possible. We use insurance for our cats (It's called Embrace -- totally worth it if you have several pets or older pets!)...and every time we went, they filed an insurance claim for us and our claims were always accepted (meaning we never have to pay the full cost of appointments)...BVS does a great job of making sure we're financially covered and happy when we leave!

Amy Whisman

My cat, Butternut suddenly became very sick. Unfortunately, he had to be put down but all the staff were incredibly helpful and compassionate. They did everything they could and were honest with me about his condition and prognosis. The office was extremely clean and sterile. I would recommend this office to anyone. Dr. Foley is great!

Braves Buff

To be brief, they lost my pet's remains. Brought my cat in to be euthanized and cremated. We were called saying that his remains were back. On the following day, we attempted to pick his remains up, and they did not have them. They could not tell us where he was, or how he was even missing. If anybody picked up any remains on or around September 12th please make sure that you have your pet's remains. We miss our baby very much and still are hoping that somehow someway we get his remains back.

Heather Gadberry

While the doctors seem to be knowledgeable, the vet is very overpriced. You feel as if you have to go into debt just to get care for your pet. At the time, my dog was very sick, and I wanted to do anything to get her the proper care she needed. I spent over $500 for just tests and monitoring (this was just within the span of 12 hours). This is extremely expensive compared to many other vets in the area, and BVS did not even come up with a solution that could really help her, or at least not one that I could afford.

Laura Pape

The doctors and staff at the Bluegrass are totally AWESOME! Very caring, and competent folks. They knew exactly what should be done and explained everything so I clearly. Reviewed the tests and x-ray results and lined out a course of treatment. Another thing I liked was they were right up front about the costs. I really appreciated that. The other thing was they wanted us to understand that if the time should come that it is effecting the quality of life "Jade" would have then it would be time to discuss another option for her best interest. I liked that they let us know with a mass cell cancer there are a lot of options but when they all run out and she is suffering then it is time to decide what is best for her. We would highly recommend them to anyone with any animal that needs Veterinary help. !!!

Tiffany Stratton

We just lost our sweet baby and I cannot express how much we appreciate the compassion and care our baby was given, as well as ourselves, during this hard time. Bluegrass veterinary clinic made it a lot easier than I feel it would've been elsewhere

Linda Boots

These people are extremely compassionate and understanding. They helped make a difficult situation much more bearable. I would recommend them without reservation.

Genea Pixler

Such an amazing staff! I had to make the difficult decision to let my 15 year old baby, Cameron, cross the rainbow bridge. These wonderful people helped make this overwhelming situation as comforting as it could be. I thank God for this professional and caring team.

James Begins

Just the best. Caring, compassionate people. Recommended without hesitation.

Barbie Carter

Was there last night with 3 dogs (with a potentially serious situation that happily turned out not to be). The staff was amazing and up front with everything they did and the cost and choices we had. Their rates were very reasonable based on the situation and compared to other ER places we had experienced in the past. They were very professional and just plain nice. Would highly recommend them if you have to have emergency vet services.

Diane Hasselbring

I took my Shih Tzu to BVS after he ingested toxic flowers and became ill. So glad they're available 24/7. The staff was very thorough, kind, and highly competent. They are definitely my clinic of choice for emergencies and advanced care. Diane H.

Severe Weather Intercept and Research Team

Brought my jack Russell here late at night due to an unfortunate choking incident. The staff here are very kind and met us at the door. They took my dog directly to the exam room and continually updated on her status. I’m very lucky to have been able to get to them. My dog is fine thanks to their quick response.

Austin Owen

EVIL. If you don't have $1,000 - $3,000 in cash, run for the hills. They just forcibly euthinized our 1 year old cat because they wouldn't release him to another vet and refused any payment options and lied about the prognosis of his condition. Sickening. Run to Med Vet with any real emergency needs.

R Scott Daugherty

Thank you so much in your efforts for treating Scout. I'm glad the we found people so caring and genuine in one of our greatest times of need.

Silvana Cusani

Worst service ever! I will NEVER Return! There was a tech who has black curly hair it’s very long she was the ONLY reason I gave a star she actually cared! The Tech checked us in was horrible and very cold I had a critical animal and she was so unconcerned and when I asked questions she act bothered!

Felisha Spurlock

This place will do WHATEVER they can to get as much money out of you as possible! They are in it for the money and will try to trick you into running a lot of unneeded tests. I will NEVER go back here again!

Liz Ubelhor

This guys are THE BEST! Knowledgable and empathetic. Thank you!

Kori Otero

I HIGHLY recommend this place! My beagle had gotten into dark chocolate and other human food and was throwing up and in a lot of pain. I went to BVS and they immediately started treating her and explained to me each and every step they were taking in her treatment course. They were transparent with their reasonable prices and genuinely care about the animal. I will definitely be a returning customer. Thank you BVS for helping my beagle Lola and turning a scary situation into a big relief.

Lacy Danielle Lawhon

I cannot begin to express my gratitude to the staff of BVS for their compassion and warmth. They were beyond comforting and understanding.

Jayden Worley

I had my guinea pig put down. They were the sweetest people. They took care of my guinea pig so well. I wish every vet could be like this. I even received a card with messages from the people who worked there hoping I was doing ok without my guinea pig.

Sabrina

WORST PLACE FOR EMERGENCY VET SERVICES EVER!!!! My mom's dog got attacked, took her to this vet, only gave her fluids and pain meds. Charging us over $1,400 for just that and keeping her over night. NEVER again will they get service from me or my family. My personal vet took her after spending the entire night with gashes and fluid build up, is fixing her up for not even a 3rd of what they are charging us. This is the second dog to be done this way at this worthless vets office. Save your money and your pet GO ELSEWHERE!

Courtney Faul

The best emergency vet in central Kentucky! I will always refer clients and family here for any emergency needs they may encounter. The staff is accommodating and understanding when dealing with the family members in these high stress situations. Thank you for taking such good care of our sweet Edward on his final day.

Max Sittibbih

I brought my cat in and knew he was sick because he had previously been diagnosed with high liver enzymes. I told BVS he wasn't eating. I was told the cat was alert. I had to talk BVS into administering at least IV fluids. I was sent home with seven medications. When I called back and told them the cat was still not eating, the response was that he might need to be reassessed. He died the next day. I thought the $1000.00 the first time was the assessment.

Miranda Gottsacker

So kind, caring, and compassionate! Without all of the wonderful staff at BVS, I wouldn't have my little dog Rayne! I am forever grateful for all of the late nights they spent with her and the countless phone calls I have made to them during her recovery process. They really are the best!

Amy Bedard

All staff is kind and knowledgeable. Prices are very reasonable for an emergency vet. I've been numerous times with my pets over the years and I have always been seen right away. Reading previous comments makes me want to remind people: veterinarians are not pet psychics. They cannot read your pet's mind and their ability to diagnose the problem is directly related to the amount of truthful information that you (as the pet parent) give them and the diagnostic testing that you (as the pet parent) are willing to approve. I would strongly recommend BVS.

Patrick Shewmaker

We took are poodle there for treatment on January 30. One of big dogs but cthere and here left eye popped out of socket and she had a bad bite on her side. Told use they could save the eye. So picked her up that morning. That night her eye looked bad had to take her back. Never seen vet they said looked normal. We done everything we needed to have her medication. Sunday night her side ruptured under her stomach. They did call Monday and I told was not happy with the service. We took her to are vet that Monday. She lost her eye and had to cut her side open all the way under her stomach. She spent a week in are vet. They never called me back or anything. Said they pass it on to office manager. But guess it got lost. She is doing the best now. But for 12 hrs worth of nothing and a week at my vet was half what they charged. I would not recommend no one to go there. No one at all.

Took my 12 year old German Shepherd who was in considerable discomfort (retching , disoriented). When I arrived the technician wasted no time in getting him back for an x-ray. After 5-10 mins, Dr Molly Hastings entered the exam room and introduced herself and calmly explained to me the situation and options available. The surgeon was immediatley paged and within 30 mins had arrived. I was allowed to go back and see my dog or a few mins before the surgeon arrived and he was really miserable...I could tell he was very close to going into total shock. Dr Hastings and the staff did an excellent job in stabilizing him. Throughout the operation (~2hrs) Dr Hastings came out to give me updates. When it was over, Dr Sarah Daniel came out and gave me the best news possible. She was very helpful throughout his entire recovery process and even sent pictures of him during his 2 day hospital stay. The entire staff was very accomodating. When I say "entire staff", I really mean the entire staff. I would like everyone who was working that night to know that they all performed admirably and should be indiviually recognized for a job very well done. Never once did I feel that my dog wasn't the most important patient to them. While I'm sure not every outcome is as good as mine was, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend BVS to any pet owner faced with the same situation.

Jayne Thompson

Caring staff and professional attention to detail. Dr. "R" is amazing in his ability to access the problem and address it head on. I would not go anywhere else.

Tanya Murrah

Kind and compassionate, only downside was we had to wait a long time.

Had an emergency late into the night Sunday and my vet in Frankfort (where we live) was sick herself, so she called ahead to BVS to tell them we were coming. Once we got there, the night shift staff were awesome! We had to leave our boy there overnight for them to keep an eye on him and treat him if necessary - so my husband stayed up all night and called regularly to make sure he was doing okay. They were very accommodating and sweet to him, which I greatly appreciate. Overall, a great customer service experience - and our boy is like new after a little extra care. Thanks, guys! =)

I had an excellent experience here, and am extremely glad to know that they also provide emergency care. In my opinion the options for that particular service are pretty slim in Lexington. The vet and staff were very accommodating and knowledgeable, answered all my questions, and were generally great. I highly recommend BVS and will experience no hesitation should I need to bring one of my animals here in the future. They are super!!!

Charles Matthews

Total rip off! These people are sales people! All they want to do is sell you extra services for your pet. You all should be ashamed of yourself. I’ll never be back and hope you are put out of business! Quoted me $1450 for x rays, bloodwork and a nights stay. Totally unethical.

Camille Isa

Very caring, concerned staff. Highly compassionate. Gave me options and concerned about health of my pet and concerned about my opinion and comfort about plan.

RK Goffinet

BVS is wonderful! They have provided exceptional care for two of our dogs over the last few years; outstanding service to both our pets and kind support for us. I highly recommend BVS for emergency care as well as chronic or complicated illness. All of the staff were compassionate and considerate. Dr. Radhakrishnan is a super vet and a truly nice guy!

Ryan Miller

Bottom Line: Staff was friendly, caring, and knowledgeable. They kept us well informed of pricing, results, and plans. In line with other emergency vet costs. I would definitely recommend this vet to a friend who's pet needed emergency care! One night around 8, our dog became acutely lethargic and couldn't walk because she was stumbling. Our regular vet was closed so we went ahead and googled for an emergency vet in Lexington. Bluegrass Veterinary Specialists was the first result that popped up, and boy were we glad that we went there! When we called, they were professional and asked thoughtful questions about what was going on so that we didn't come in for something that was not an emergency. When we got there they were very friendly, and they promptly examined our dog, came up with a differential, and formed a plan of action for taking care of her. They also gave us an up-front estimate of the cost of the visit which did not change when it was time to pay the bill the next day. The staff was all very friendly, and they seemed to genuinely care about us and our pet's well-being. They were great about keeping a close eye on our pet and keeping us informed on what they were doing, what the test results were, and what the plan of action was. The vet herself even called us at 4 AM after admitting our pet to let us know that more tests had come in and that our dog was improving. When we picked her up the next morning, the morning staff was still well-informed about what had gone on with our dog even though they hadn't seen her at admission. To me this pointed to very good continuity of care and handovers with genuine concern for the animals that they are taking care of. As for money, when they planned to perform tests or admit our dog, they always brought in estimates of the cost of the visit which was thoroughly itemized with no phantom costs. They charge a flat $80 emergency visit fee, and then add on procedures, tests, and medication costs to that. The costs for an overnight stay with a fair number of lab tests and overnight IV fluids was around $600. While this is not cheap, I feel that it is in line with what you might spend at any emergency vet for such an acute illness, and I felt that it was worth the money for the great care they provided my pet. This burden would have been much less had we had the foresight to have pet insurance, but it wasn't so unreasonable that we felt like we had been ripped off or anything.

I took my cat Rosco here as a last resort. It was an hour drive from my house. My Rosco became paralyzed and unable to walk. He had to be carried and held to go to the bathroom and hand fed. I had to move him around places because he could not move. He was just over a year old I was devastated and wanted help for him. I had taken him other places but no definite answers. I was very emotional and the staff there was so compassionate. I met Dr Alford. I cannot tell you how special she is. She worked with my cat in the oxygen chamber and taught us how to exercise him. He began to make great progress. Her heart is truly in her work. She bonded with him and did everything in her power to help him. She knew us when we came in the door. Checked in on us on bad days and never missed a beat. Rosco started having seizures and losing his spirit. It was unfair to make him suffer for me. As he declined I had to make the decision to put him down. It broke my heart. I could not believe how wonderful the staff at BVS was. They have an amazing thing going on there. If I ever find another Maincoon like Rosco I would drive the hour just for the service. It took me awhile to write this, its been 3 mo and I am still in awe of this place and the compassion they have for animals. I received a card in the mail after I lost him signed by all staff saying how sorry they were for my loss. I cannot say enough about this place. May God bless them and their business and careers. I Thank You from the bottom of my heart for your services. Sincerely, Elizabeth

The staff is so kind. Dr. A. explains everything to you and answers all questions you may have concerning your pet. He is very attentive and has wonderful bedside manner. They are considerably reasonable for an emergency vet. They truly love animals and want nothing but to help your pet. I will always take my dogs there, if ever needed again. You can feel the love and support as soon as you walk in the door.

It is a great comfort to know that Bluegrass Veterinary Specialists is available for both specialty care and emergency services. Dr. Radhakrishan and staff provide an outstanding level of care. Over the Labor Day holiday my diabetic dog started having seizure like symptoms. We rushed her to the emergency clinic. It turns out that her glucose was too low. They worked with her to get it regulated and have since worked with us and our veterinarian to monitor it through occasional glucose curves. I knew to expect great service from the experience we had when they saved the life of our foster puppy Bernie. Through round the clock care they pulled him through a bout of Parvo. Bernie now lives happily with a forever family in Ohio. If you are looking for outstanding service from a dedicated staff look no further. Bluegrass Veterinarian Specialists will exceed your expectations! What a blessing they have been to me and my fur babies!

Katie Nolan

Wonderful and caring staff. Reasonably priced for such high level care, and I'm certain my dog wouldn't still be here without them.

Brittney Bowman

Our cat, Fuzzy Cat, was referred to Bluegrass Specialty Clinic due to severe illness. The staff was very caring and immediately had a treatment plan in place. Unfortunately, our beloved Fuzzy Cat tested positive for feline leukemia. The doctor and staff was very supportive and caring during this emotional process. I highly recommend this clinic due to their care for our beloved pet.

Bluegrass Veterinary Specialist + Animal Emergency is a team of highly dedicated individuals who care beyond measure for all of the animals who come into their hospital. In my time as a client, Dr. Edward, Katie the technician, and Jacob the Tech Assistant were so helpful with treating my pet. Alex, Amanda, Wendy, Susan, and Tammi were also so thoughtful at reception each time I called with a question or when I arrived at the clinic for treating my cat. Also during my time as a shadow at BVS+AE I have learned invaluable skills from all of the staff I have come into contact with including: Dr. Radhakrishnan, Dr. Basham, Dr. Daniel, Dr. Waldron, Dr. Gale-Dyer, Dr. Quicksall, Dr. Mulholland, Dr. Alford, Dr. Foley, Dr. McMaine, and Dr. Bowden. All of the technichicians have been instrumental in assisting the doctors in not only teaching me, but continuing to carry out the treatments which are so crucial to helping all of the animals that come in be comfortable during their treatment. Some of the most notable technicians that I have met at BVS who do and outstanding job are Melissa, Ashley, Ashlee, Christy, Jennifer, Puja, Erin, and Rebecca. These technicians also have a tremendous amount of help from students who were once in a position similar to mine as a shadow. These individuals are the tech assistants who have been instrumental in keeping BVS running smoothly on a daily basis. The assistants I can think of who have been the most helpful to me as a shadow and also to the technicians are Kelli, Bianca, Ainsley, Veronica, Zerina, Jessica, Summer, Niki, Lauren, Andy, and Pam. Finally, the shadows that BVS brings in are incredibly bright, and always willing to help out wherever needed during the hustle of the day. Some of the most dedicated shadows that I have crossed paths with are Victoria, Madison, Jason, Jasmine, Garrett, Anu, Ehren, Anna, and Tara. Ultimately all of the people listed are critical to the function of this top notch animal hospital. They not only offer the highest level of care and compassion for animals that I have ever seen, but they are an exemplary business which contributes greatly to the Lexington community.

Josie Flowers

Bluegrass Veterinary Specialists has treated two of my dogs and all of the staff were kind and caring. Dr. Radhakrishnan is a wonderful vet and explored different options for treatment. So great to have this kind of specialized care close to home.

Angela McCall

Spent hours there. I had to go to work and my husband had to come back and wait on our baby. They were rude and nasty and not answering his questions and he was also listed as the owner. I spent $500 just for them to send me somewhere else for a surgery. Just the office visit was like $104. And then blood work and an X-ray was an additional $400?? Big rip off. Last X-ray I paid $65 and blood work was $85? When my fur baby is sick the last thing I want is to be screwed without lube! The only reason they got 2 stars is the vet was a decent guy. The place they sent me was fabulous! $630 for her surgery. That right there should tell you what a rip off. $130 more for anesthesia, pain meds, an IV, fluids and did an additional surgical procedure on top of the life threatening one! It should be illegal for these people to price gouge because it’s the weekend. Decent people wouldn’t treat your baby like a thing and understand those are our children! Their only concern was MONEY!! If it wasn’t I would have been able to go get my husband, who has a debilitating disease and was in pain, without have to pay 75% of the estimated costs before I left! Like I wouldn’t come back for my baby. Go to Advanced Animal Care in Richmond. It’s worth the drive and more affordable!

Vincent Freeman

Visited last night for our sick pup and the service and staff were amazing. We were greeted by the front desk tech Samantha and she promptly handled all our questions and concerns while also getting our information. The staff in back were also quick to take care of us while also keeping us updated. Prices were reasonable as well. We will certainly be back in the future!

Jacob Travis

Being open 24/7 is a great benefit. They saved our cat

Phil Tax

Staff is extremely helpful and caring. Took a 2 week old kitten I found there and they made sure it recovered nicely. On top of that, they wont break your budget.

Emily H

My puppy was behaving in an off way one night. When I called the BVS front desk at midnight, staff calmly advised us to come in for evaluation. Upon check-in and a quick diagnostic run down, I learned that my pup had early signs of pneumonia and might have a digestive disorder. From there, each vet was calm in outlining treatment plans and gave price quotes each time they asked my permission to conduct further, necessary lab tests. They shared results with me and my dog's regular vet as they materialized. Everyone was respectful and spoke to me about his lab work in detail. My experience makes me want to put on faux ears and a tail to be treated as well as my dog, because I've yet to meet a human MD with as much knowledge and as good bedside manner as the veterinary team that treated pup.

Wendigo Silence

I had to rush my 12 year old pug (Lexy) to BVS in middle of the night. She was not being her self and not wanting eat. Within minutes of my arrival Lexy was diagnosed and with my approval began emergency surgery. They SAVED HER LIFE!! I can never truly thank them enough. Very professional, Knowledgeable, Caring and I would highly recommend BVS

Shawn Moberly

Be ready to pay for the care...they will take every dime they can! My wife wanted her dog better but the charges this place put on your bill are insane. I love our dogs but this place cost more than a person going to the emergency room. They will push the hyperbaric treatments too...I would to if I was then at 190$ a pop! Four days and $1600 later...he was about the same. He got better being at home in my opinion.

Donna Horne

This is our second time for Oreo (Maine Coon) to be treated at BGVS and our experiences have been nothing but good. The staff and doctors are excellent and they make you feel part of a family. We were happy to see Melissa was still here after 2 years of our absence from needing treatment for Oreo as good employees are hard to find and keep. Thank you BGVS Donna & Jerry Horne (and Oreo)

Lisa Walker

We had a very good experience at Bluegrass Veterinary Specialists with our dog. They were genuinely concerned with giving our dog the best care possible and were very up-front about the cost, etc. I would highly recommend them!

Vicki Sharif

With two chronically ill senior dogs (one with bladder cancer and the other with Cushings Disease), we found ourselves in need of both an Internal Medicine specialist and repeated access to emergency services. Not only was the medical expertise unparalleled, but the compassion, patience, and true love of animals was exemplary. We felt comforted knowing that Dr. Antu and his staff were in this with us. It has got to be very hard for animal lovers to regularly see our babies and us suffer. I don't know how they do it. Finally, we were always given options that balanced the expense, quality of life, and best possible outcome at every turn. I have recommended Dr. Antu repeatedly and will continue to do so.

Mark King

My dog received the best possible care at Bluegrass Veterinary Specialists. Every person was compassionate and caring for the circumstances. Unlike many other clinics, I did not feel as if I was being taken advantage of. I would highly recommend this clinic and the excellent doctors and staff.

Casey Howard

Highly recommend this Veterinary clinic. We were referred to them as a specialist when our dog was diagnosed with a terminal illness. Dr. Anant Radhakrishnan and the nurse both made us feel like we were only people in their schedule. He Isn't interested in selling unnecessary meds or procedures. Just focused on quality of life reasonably. Anant made a point to speak at length directly and compassionately to our 12 year old daughter that grew up with the dog. I read through the previous reviews before our appointment and I can say this is absolutely a case where you get what you pay for. Better people who care and spend more time with you absolutely are worth more.

Katherine Petter

I have mixed feelings about BVS. I've taken my dogs here on four separate occasions for emergencies, and I get the vibe that they are there to squeeze every penny out of every customer. The vet was unsure about the x-rays that were taken there for my dog and said she either had cancer, pneumonia, or a fungal infection. The only thing she said we could do was meet with an internal medicine specialist ($95 office fee) and have an ultrasound (~$500). I got a second opinion and the other vet said there was no way he would put his own dog through all of that when we could just take the antibiotics and have another x-ray in a week. So that's what we did and it turns out the 2nd opinion vet was exactly right. So, moral of the story, don't trust everything they say. Get a second opinion after going there. Also, they will want you to use Wheeler's Pharmacy and/or Custom Compounding. Rood and Riddle is cheaper, but they will encourage you to either pick up the prescriptions at BVS (SUPER EXPENSIVE) or use Wheeler's (also expensive). BVS's markup is at least 100%.

Julie K.

Fabulous emergency treatment. Clear, concise, wonderful & caring staff. Very impressed!

Visited late last night with my son's sick dog, Dr Waldron and the entire staff were caring, knowledgeable and treated us and the dog with the upmost care. Our outcome was not as we had hoped but everyone handled the situation wonderfully and made us at ease.

Kenny Stratton

I want to thank the talented and kind staff for their care of our precious Macy Gray in her last hours. A little after midnight on a busy Sunday night, we we treated with professionalism and kindness. I highly recommend.

I thought they were quite good and helpful, but when I read the paperwork it was completely wrong. They indicated I had brought in my dog for euthanasia which was a complete mischaracterization. Did the vet not listen to a word I said? I declined a diagnostic test and said explicitly it wasn't because of cost and the paperwork said I declined due to cost! They gave my dog a body mass rating of 6/9 which is technically incorrect as her weight is ideal (5).

Penny Newton

I visited BVS on a Sunday afternoon with sick cat experiencing complications with a chronic illness. I went in wary of the cost and concerned that might have to euthanize my cat. I was a complete blubbering mess when I walked in. The staff was attentive, thoughtful and very caring. It was the best customer service I have ever experienced, even though the facility was over-run with emergencies. The vet was also sympathetic and perceptive of my needs and goals. I don't think I've ever even experienced better personal health care! The cost was not as bad as I expected and I got treatment that would keep my pet comfortable and happy. God bless BVS!

Unless your pet is on the brink of death and this place is your only option, don’t go. They do not care about your animal, and only want to run tests and give you medicine that likely has nothing to do with your pet’s medical problems, all of which are very expensive. I spent almost seven hundred dollars and five hours for little to no information on my pet’s actual problems. However when I took him to my normal vet, they were able to immediately tell me that my cat has Stage 4 cancer in his liver solely from looking at the information THIS place sent them. To be honest, I think they withheld information and told me to see my normal vet asap, so they wouldn’t have to waste any more time on me or my pet. All the while handing me pointless medication (except for maybe the pain meds), and offering me a pointless night stay, which I’m sure is around at least fifteen hundred. Also during my five hour wait, I was asked to leave my exam room to make room for someone else, which I found extremely strange and rude, but agreed to. I was basically treated like me and my pet were a nuisance, and the least important things there. Every time the doctor came in to tell me something (which probably added up to five minutes of my total time there), she talked way too fast, way too carelessly, and was way too vague. I understand that it’s an emergency clinic, which can be fast paced and hectic, but the things I experienced there were absolutely ridiculous.

Breana Woodville

Very kind and considerate for a very tough time for me, just wish the prices weren't so high, or seemed high.

Lee BAiley

I took my 84 year old sister-in-law and her dog in on Memorial Day since our vet was closed. The girls out front were very nice and seemed concerned. We waited out front for some time and were finally put in a exam room. My sister-in-laws dog was never seen. An assistant came in and said can you go out front and wait for results and I told her that no one had ever came in to see her. She said she would check and did not come back. After spending over two hours and not seeing a vet we left with with her dog still coughing and having a had time breathing. In their defense they did have a couple dogs come in who were in a fight and injured. I will not take her dog or mine to BVS ever again and will tell others about our experience.

Elizabeth Natter

I was pleased to discover this office was populated with compassionate and caring staff, from the front desk, the vet techs, the emergency vets and the internal medicine specialists. I was impressed with the way they shared the charges for all options, gave us all the time we needed to decide about treatment for our very ill older dog, and explained their findings. I would recommend the office without hesitation. They were able to perform a specialized ultrasound so we could get a much more detailed picture of what was going on with our dog prior to deciding whether to put him through the ordeal of surgery.

Angie Griffin

I have been so blessed by the care and attention the staff at BVS has given my Lily (a beagle) before/during/and after her recent back surgery. The staff and Dr. Daniel have been so patient with me as I've worked to understand the diagnosis and what that means for Lily. They all take time to talk to me and answer all of my questions. I get a daily call with updates and they've made time to let me come in to visit Lily during her post-op recovery. I've told every pet owner I know that BVS is the place to go when the unexpected happens.

Carla B

This place was full of professionals who really seemed to care about my dog, Pooch. I would recommend them to anybody, and I will never forget their kindness.

Ryan Watson

The only thing they are specialist at are playing to the emotional state of pet owners and charging outrageous prices with outrageous treatment regiments. There are way better options in town!

amanda kleppinger

Knowledgeable and friendly staff was able to help me and my pet! Would definitely recommend!

The doctors at Bluegrass are skilled and compassionate. We have a wonderful vet that we take our kids to for routine care. Unfortunately one of our cats became very ill. We were advised to bring him here and thank God we did. Two months ago we found out he was in the later stages of congestive heart failure. We were lucky enough that meds seemed to be working. Now our baby had taken a turn for the worse. He's back at Bluegrass. His condition was clearly explained to us as where the charges if we chose to go forward. With his last stay and this one the Dr has called every few hours with updates on his condition. The reviews complaining about the high cost of treatment really bother me. The men and women at Bluegrass are highly trained medical professionals and as anyone who has gotten sick knows medical care is expensive. Whether human or animal sometimes the results are not what we hoped for. I'm in tears as I write this because it seems we are approaching the end.

Dottie Johnson

This is my go to place when I have an emergency. I have four dogs and two cats. Natosha has seen three of my four dogs and she is always reassuring when I have brought them in. I recommend this place to everyone that might need to take their fur baby in when their regular vet is unavailable.

Cory BlackEagle

The staff at BVS treat my dogs with the same love and compassion I have for them Their veterinary skill and expertise are superb, giving me full confidence and comfort knowing my critter kids are getting the VERY best care. The staff are also very kind and supportive of me. 5 stars doesn't seem high enough.

Kim Hardeman

The doctors and staff here took great care of my cocker spaniel Buck. We made an appt because of a cough that wouldn't go away. The vet took great care of him, told us what she thought we should do, and was honest about the prices of things and whether we needed to do extra tests or not. She didn't think he needed an x-ray and that saved us money. Point being, they are not trying to run a bunch of tests and make money, they just want your animal to get better :) Love this place, and would definitely go back. Buck was better in 2-3 days, he thanks them too!

Starla Bradshaw

The care i recieved. Was priceless

Will Burke

My dog ingested 2 prescription level D2 bottles and was referred to this vet after talking to the poison control hotline. As we pull up we see someone working there leaving to go home. We wait outside the building bc of it being locked before being let in minutes later. after being admitted we fill out paperwork, give them our case number, and then they procede to tell us they’re backed up and have too many cases to work on and to find another vet.....NEVER again will I return here, and I wouldn’t recommend putting the life of your pets in the hands of this establishment.

Jami Bailey

I was referred to BVS for my dog's emergency surgery after our regular vet diagnosed her with a gastric blockage. Dr. Sarah Daniel and the staff at BVS quite literally saved my girl and I will be forever grateful. Dr. Daniel operated on Riley in the middle of the night and kept me updated during her hospitalization. After I brought Riley home, Dr. Daniel kept in close contact with us via email and answered all of my questions. Riley did so well and recovered fully. I cannot say enough good things about the amazing emergency care and specialty services BVS provides. Of course I would have paid any price, and having worked at an animal hospital previously I know how expensive this kind of treatment can be, but I thought the charges were very very reasonable and less than I was expecting for that caliber of care.

Gayle Stockdale

Have used them several times. I was amazed at the great, thorough treatment our dog received. And I thought the charges were very reasonable as well. Great vets!!!

Kitty Lenox

I have used this clinic twice for very difficult cases and I will NEVER go ANYWHERE ELSE!!! They are exceptional!

Carrie Miller

Received the call no pet owner ever wants to get. The staff was so sincere and attentive and amazing during this rough time.

sam 25

My dog SpongeBob had to go here the other night. Dr. Mulholland and nurse Swim were awesome!

Kenny Stratton

I want to thank the talented and kind staff for their care of our precious Macy Gray in her last hours. A little after midnight on a busy Sunday night, we we treated with professionalism and kindness. I highly recommend.

Dagni Richards Brown

For emergency care this might be your place but if you want to see a specialist I suggest going elsewhere. We spent over $600 in less than a week here for medication I am sure the vet knew would not make a difference in the grand scheme of our dying dog's treatment. We spent $390 on chemo medication alone, gave him 1 pill out of the 2 month supply (we were told that it didn't come in a smaller quantity) and are now having to put him down. That's a lot for medicine that didn't make a difference and consultation fees for the vet's poor advice (we took him back on Monday as he hasn't eaten since taking the chemo meds...that visit plus 3 shots cost $270...the cost of which was not disclosed until AFTER it had been administered at check out). But most importantly, I really feel like we were taken advantage of in a vulnerable state. Of course I would hang onto any hope of at least making my best friend more comfortable in his last few months (which we were told he had now a WEEK later we are euthanizing him at our regular vet). I really feel that the vet knew getting the chemo medicine wouldn't help as it's hard to believe his condition could go from a few months to a few days in a week's time. I called to see if there was anyway they could buy back the medication only to be told by the receptionist that they don't buy medicine back BUT they accept donations to give to patients with a "financial need." Ummm...hello...? THAT would have been great to know prior to me borrowing money for medicine that wasn't necessary. All in all my poor baby could have suffered a lot less had they been more honest and upfront about his condition. I know that treating cancer is difficult in humans let alone dogs but shame on people who would use this time to take advantage of people AND animals in this situation.

Frederick Jones

Nothing but good things to say about the staff and physicians. Took my 12 year old German Shepherd in one evening who was exhibiting signs of gastric tortion = GDV (bloat/volulous). Within 45 mins Dr Daniel was in and performing surgery to correct the problem. The entire staff deserves to be recognized for the great job they did - The technicians who watched over him before and the days following his surgery - Dr Hastings who was the on-call vet who made the original diagnosis - Dr Daniel who performed the surgery I am sure not everyone's outcome is perfect, but mine was and I wouldnt hesitate to trust the staff at BVS to take care of my pet in the best possible way

Patricia Foley

Been there twice, once for my dog, and once for my cat. Amazing place, has great doctors who specialize in medical areas adding another dimension to vet care for my furry babies. When there is a special need beyond ordinary vet care, this is the place. 5 stars in my book.

Judi Sither

I wish I had my $2100 back. And my cat.

Elizabeth Richardson

I took my sick cat in on a Sunday because my vet was closed. This clinic seems more concerned with making sure they collect their fees versus identifying what is wrong with your pet. I was the only person in the clinic on a Sunday morning, and was there over 3 hours. My cat needed blood work, which at my regular vet, only takes a few minutes to develop. this clinic did not have a drug needed in stock. They did not administer any medicine to my cat which was running a fever, however sent me home with meds that my cat refused to take. Cost was over $300. Took her back to my regular vet a day later, who in turn gave her a shot of antibiotic and low dose aspirin to reduce her fever, ran X-rays, etc. something this high dollar clinic should have done at these prices. Bottom line, before treatment was done, they prepared a detailed invoice for me to agree to versus taking care of the cat first. For me, it's not about the money, however about making my cat feel better. I will not be back.

Lauren Allen

Just got back from BGVETS with my cat. Emergency everted! Thanks to Dr Basham and her team. Everyone was pleasant and friendly. Wait was not too long and damage to the pocketbook minimal compared to other veterinary ER visits I have had in past. GREAT Job Gals!

Lynn Squicciarini

I would highly recommend this vet clinic to anyone in need of emergency care for their pet. Everyone I interacted with showed me and my dog such kindness. They were empathetic, explained everything that was going on and despite the concern I had for Bailey's health I felt that she was in good hands and with people who genuinely cared for her.
