I have a cat who adopted me. He had a "club foot" & a wound that wouldn't heal. I brought him to Southview to see if there was something more that could be done. Dr. May examined Kee Kee & surmised that he should have a part of his leg amputated. I was apprehensive, to say the least, but went ahead with it. As it turned out, since Kee Kee's shoulder was dislocated as well, his shoulder as well as the leg was taken. He came through it like a champ! The staff loves him & he's congenial. I'll be bringing Kee Kee back.

Overpriced and was told my dog was not pregnant and was told to schedule a spay at which I was going to be charged $350 for a spay for a 9lb Maltese , my dog.in fact is and was pregnant and the puppies were hidden in the x-ray , I told them I could see movement and was told that it was a phantom pregnancy at first and then told it was pyometra which the blood work done showed no infection and he still pushed to get me scheduled for a spay. I did set the appointment but am cancelling asap because I found out an average spay and this is on the high side and for a dog.that is a large breed or obese is $175/max and they were going to charge me $350.00 for a 9lb Maltese. I also was charged a whopping 264.00 for an x-ray, appointment, and blood work which was just a normal routine blood work of CBC , I can't help but feel like I was royally screwed and I'm glad I didn't go ahead and do the spay like they were pushing me to do. My suggestion is trust your instincts and get a second opinion if you don't feel like what you are being told or charged for that matter is correct.

Awesome docks awesome people you can't go wrong if you go to Southview Veterinary Hospital they care for your pet they are honest, caring, and would do for your pet what you would do if you had their background and knowledge. I can't say enough good things about them.

I always enjoy taking my cats here and they are very comfortable there too. It's by far the best establishment all around. When it comes to cost, convenience and care your hospital is top notch. I've been to 3-4 others and they don't compare. Thanks for taking care of Sadie, she's pretty ornery! Sunny's sick now and we appreciate the options given to us so we can choose her treatment. When our Izzybelle needed urgent care on a Sunday last April, Dr. Walker was there for us. He got right back to us and took care of Izzybelle as timely as possible. Made a very sad day as best as it could be. We love our pets and appreciate all the caregivers at Southview!

Extremely caring. We almost lost our dog and they answered the phone and guided me through where and what I needed to do. I had to rush our dog to the VETERINARIAN ER in Wichita. And then the next day southview took over care. They took very good care of our fur baby. Shes doing great now and it's all due to the care she recieved at southview. We are extremely grateful for the entire staff. They all were very great to deal with. And it was affordable so that was also a huge plus.

Misty and her team are the best pet clinic I've ever been to. The staff is compassionate, knowledgeable and friendly. They genuinely take care of pets like they're your family, even in the very hardest times. When our 16 year old cat had to be put to sleep, they cried with us, and later I received a sympathy card from the entire staff. It's such a small thing, but it had a huge impact. They are the best. I trust them with my family!
