We love this animal clinic. They always go out of their way to give the best care possible to our pets. They always work with us if we need to get a sick pet in quickly. The cost is usually very reasonable and if you're a little short on funds they'll usually do what they can to work things out with you.

Now, fast forward a few years, and after checking into several veterinary offices close to home, none of them have been able to compare to Dr. Rad at Red Bridge Animal Clinic. So we’re going back! Took my cat in on a friends recommendation after a few years of not feeling fully satisfied with her current vet and immediately felt like this was the place for her. They were respectful towards her and me, they listened when I explained all of my concerns and are working WITH me, not over me to try and help get my darling little furbaby back to full health and get her condition managed. Very well priced, very friendly, and wonderfully concerned about the animals. I will definitely recommend them to anyone who asks.

We recently switched to Red Bridge A.C. on the referral of a friend. Best decision we have made in a while! Beautiful clinic, inside & out. The clinic and waiting area doesn't smell, Dr. Rad was wonderful---super-educated, well-spoken......and what a way with animals! The nurse/receptionist who processed our paper work was very friendly and gave us a complete run down of the clinic, the hours, etc. And the hours should be mentioned---they are open till 8pm most nights (!!!) and include Saturday hours too....a real plus for the working crowd. Finally, their prices were completely reasonable and we didn't feel pressured to get shots for our (12 year old) dog that weren't really necessary. This staff loves animals...it's obvious from the minute you walk in. Stop looking for a vet clinic and give them a call today. :)

I am so saddened to see bad reviews for this clinic. We took our dogs to this clinic for years. The drs. and staff were wonderful!! We had to say good bye to our dog at the office. When I came back with a new puppy, they were always sensitive, and did not put me in the room where we told our boy goodbye. I no longer live in KC. I have called twice since I moved out of state. My first call was for guidance on flea preventive. Just wanted guidance from a receptionist. Dr. Rad called me back, and spent a considerable amount of time on the phone with me. Above and beyond what I expected! Just called to ask the name of the medication my dog took to help his arthritis. The receptionist knew immediately who I and my dogs are. If I ever moved back to KC I would go back to this clinic in a heartbeat. Took me two vets to find a dr. in my new city that I trust as much as I trust the drs at this clinic.

This place is outstanding. I sort of stumbled across them but they have been the vet for our 2 cats and dog since we moved to Kansas City. They prices aren’t outlandish, their service is quick and they truly care about the pets in their care. When my dog came back with hookworms the paperwork was lost in the shuffle and they paid for the medication for the delay. They always go above and beyond and it means a lot to me! I took my cockapoo, Cooper, to this clinic as my normal vet was unable to see us. They told me that they could not see us, even though the waiting area was empty. Cooper was crying in pain and they would still not see him. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone!

Our sweet girl Gracie got a tear straight down her ear after a fight with her sister. We took her to red bridge to get it stitched. I cannot believe the lack of care from this clinic. They refused to see our F5 Savannah kitten who was very sick, not eating, vomiting. We were told she was an "exotic" and our LEGAL kitten could not be seen. I have never heard of such a thing. Sure, if she was a lion or an F2 Savannah or another animal illegal to have as a pet in KC, I could see that. We had to transport her much to her distress, worrying if she'd make it the whole time, to another vet. I guess they are just racist against Savannahs, and I sure hope my baby doesn't die!

Let me first say that we have always had a great experience with Dr. Rad. We love him. However, I will never go to Dr. Ebeling again. I took my dog in because he hurt his back. Dr. Rad was not available so we saw Dr. Ebeling. He diagnosed him with a slipped disc and prescribed an anti-inflammatory and pain medicine. When I called to let him know that he wasn’t better and that he hadn’t gone to the bathroom in 4 days, he had the receptionist tell me there was nothing else he can do and that I should call a surgeon. I went to get a second opinion and the new vet gave my dog steroids and laser therapy. He is confident that my dog can make a full recovery and he is on his way. I am really disappointed at the way Dr. Ebeling handled my situation and that he gave me no other option other than surgery. I felt completely abandoned by him. He didn’t even care enough to tell me himself that he was giving up, he had the receptionist do it.

Decently priced and friendly staff. I was expecting my pup's bill to be $150-200 and it turned out to be $95, the bulk ($60) of which came from the two medications that she was prescribed. The vet was thorough and my doggy loved him. I will be returning for future visits.

The only 100% consistent advice we got upon moving to South Kansas City, from every new neighbor, was, "Take your animals to Red Bridge Animal Clinic." Years later, this remains some of the best advice my wife and I have ever received. Dr. Rad consistently finds ways to educate while providing a range of treatment options. And it does not hurt that he may well be the most caring and understanding person I have ever had the pleasure to meet. On the occasions where we have needed to use the other vets on staff, they have also been great. In fact, everyone at RBAC is highly compassionate, highly competent, and I firmly believe that the care our pets have received over the years could not have been better. Like most, we have lived through situations both happy and sad, with our pets. Through it all, the folks at RBAC have consistently gone above and beyond for us, and I cannot thank them enough. They have earned my absolute trust, and I cannot recommend them more highly.
