We were traveling when one of our dogs developed a problem with his eye. We stopped here to see if they could check him out. They were so courteous and quick to take him in and diagnose the problem. Our pets are like our kids and I was so relieved with the wonderful care... would highly recommend the doc and all her associates! Great place!!!!

Took my dog in for a limp the vet took her back to see if she could localize the pain all I could hear was my dog howling and crying and when she came back she has a swollen eye from them forcing her down and her hitting her head on the floor. She was completely stressed out! Overall bad experience!

Dr. Summers and her staff have cared for both of our dogs for years. This includes routine exams, boarding, day care and most recently an emergency surgery. Both Maddie and Hooper love her and all of the staff and I honestly can't think of anyplace else that I would rather take them. We drive from northeast Wichita to the far west side specifically because we know they will get the quality care that I want for them. They do an exceptional job of keeping us informed when our fur babies are there for procedures and there is ALWAYS a follow up call the day after any visit to see how they are feeling which is appreciated.

Dr. Summers is a top notch doctor with a plethora of knowledge of any subject we have come across together. She never makes me feel rushed or that she is not available to me and my furry babes! I have been going there for years and have never had a bad experience with any person I come into contact with. I highly recommend this office from simple checkups to skilled surgery! Dr. Summers is the best!!

The staff here are wonderful. The best customer service that I have ever had at a veterinarians office to be exact. The doctors and staff all listen and include me in any decision for my two pups. The office is clean and organized and have top of the line technology. One thing I really like is their effective communication when it comes to making sure my pups get all their preventative medications on time and their check ups. When I already have a hectic schedule with life and kids and work it's nice to make sure my pets are getting what they need on time as well and the staff here make sure that happens. You guys are awesome!!!

Dr Summers and her staff go above and beyond. Prairie Ridge has cared for several of our pets and other family members pets. Priority is always to make the pet feel comfortable so they are not traumatized and they think of every detail.They are incredibly thorough and stay on top of your pets healthcare. Dr Summers is a very busy woman but she never rushes and takes the time to answer all questions. Prairie Ridge not only cares about your pet they care about your entire family. We had a 16 year old dog who was in her last days. Dr Summers personally called us every day to see what she could do to make her comfortable. When the time came to put her to rest Dr Summers took us right in there was no waiting for an appointment. They had a room waiting with a pillow on the floor and Dr Summers sat on the floor with us. It was handled with such compassion so our pet was not scared. I highly recommend Prairie Ridge.

Dr Summers and her staff provided excellent Medical Care and boarding for my two fur babies!!! The clinic provides state-of-the-art Medical Care. Dr Summers even monitors from her home by live video dogs who have had surgical procedures! My 2 dogs when boarded them were able to share a luxury kennel together and I received a picture daily! My dogs were tail wagging HAPPY when I returned. I can't give enough positive praise to the wonderful high quality of this clinic and staff!

We loved our boarding experience with Prairie Ridge! They give the dogs plenty of time to play outside during the day rather than having to be cooped up in a kennel all day long. It was so nice to get a photo of our dog each day so we could see she was having fun and enjoying herself. It is evident that the folks at Prairie Ridge actually care about animals and their wellbeing and happiness, as opposed to some kennels who are just out there to get your money and charge extra for all sorts of amenities. Here, those amenities are included because they know it’s what’s best for the puppies and that shouldn’t be an extra expense. All of the staff members we met were friendly and we especially loved Bethany, who was so kind to us on the phone and in-person and helped explain everything included. Dr. Bruce is wonderful as well!! We love you all!

I had my 2 month old with me and from the get go, everyone was so nice and helpful. From Morgan opening the front door for me upon arrival, to offering me water while I waited, to the very end when we were checking out to leave. Seeing that my hands were a little full, Mariah, walked my dog, Ollie, around while I finished checking out and as I waited for her prevention medications. She spoiled Ollie rotten - lots of mini treats, and let her walk wherever she pleased, allowing her to smell everything like she so badly wanted - must be the beagle in her ;). I've even noticed she isn't afraid when we come each time like she has been in the past at other vet clinics. Also, the computers went down at the same time I was ordering her medications and Bethany made sure to get me her medicine by writing a handwritten script and everything, just so I wouldn't have to wait or come back a different day. I don't usually write reviews but I feel that all of the kindness should be acknowledged and I truly appreciate you all! Thanks for being the best veterinary clinic/hospital!

Love this place ! Been seeing them for over a year and half with my rescued chow huskey , so impressed I use them for all 3 of my dogs now.They answer any and all questions when I’m there for my visit. I have also done boarding with them for all 3 dogs. I got a daily detail report through text and even pictures !!!!! They are soo patient with my resuce dog and always put all my dogs needs 1st . They provide high quality care and go beyond the extra mile with my dogs. Great communication with phones calls and even follow up phone calls after vet visits, emails and reminders through the mail.
