Terrible customer service. My dog had surgery a week ago and developed an infection at the surgical site. Discharge instructions were to bring him in if any complications developed. Well they did. The incision was slightly dehissed due to a sloppy closure. It wad reddened , swollen and my dog had become lethargic. The clinic was really busy that day unbeknownst to me. Something had to be done. I drove from East Wichita to Pet Haven. They trurned me away because they were too busy to see my animal wich had been Neutered. I explained what was going on. Well the vet is too busy to look at the surgical site. Call and make an appointment another day the receptionist told me. I was livid. I called my other dogs vet in Andover and 25 minuted later I was being seen. 160 more dollars later.....this was what the original surgery cost ... we had antibiotics, anti-inflammatory meds and a collar that should have came home with the dog to begin with. Massive improvement in the following 2 days. Me dog could have become septic and died witbout intervention. I read glowing reviews about this place and trustrd them with my beloved animal. Don't make the same Mistake.

I used to take my animals here years ago. I decided to bring my cat for a spay, and seems like this clinic has gone downhill. I was put on hold 3 different times. They were very disorganized and couldn't find my cats paperwork both when we brought her in, and picked her up. I noticed my address was still incorrect after I told it to the receptionist about 5 times lol. Other than that, the staff was very nice, but needs to get have a better system of organization.

I took my cat to Pet Haven for her first vet appointment after adopting her. She was to have vaccinations and a check-up. They hardly looked at her, but she got her shots and everything seemed fine. When I recently called to make an appointment for an issue she was having, the receptionist told me that they don't do exams on Saturdays, only vaccinations because it's a half day. I said that I work full-time and would have to look at my schedule and she told me I could probably come in on Saturday if I wanted to have a short appointment. I told her that I didn't want to be rushing because I want to make sure my cat is taken care of and she said "oh, I explained that badly, I'm on pain pills right now so I'm really out of it." It was incredibly unprofessional and I immediately told her never mind and scheduled an appointment elsewhere. I was not at all impressed by their customer service or staff on either occasion.

Today I called to see about getting my dog in since he has been not feeling well for a few days. I typically go to another vet, but they are closed on Monday’s. I called around 830 and I initially got put on a waiting list for first appointment if someone couldn’t make it. I get a call around 930 to come in at 1050. I get there and was check in right away and put in a room within minutes of walking through the front door. Dr. Menze (I hope I spelled that right! Lol) is WONDERFUL! She took it slow with my dog and he responded so well to her. She gave me several options and what she thought would be best for my dog and my wallet. She is very personable and very knowledgeable! Thank you so much for squeezing us in before we left out of State for our trip!

I don't go there from bad past experience. Recently went with a friend who's dog was ill. They ran very late because they overbook. They also try to get as much $ out of you to diagnose the problem. No assurance you get the same vet next visit. However the male nurse (not sure of his title or name) is VERY GD! He's worth listening to. My friends Collie had cancer. It was bad enough I knew it with 0 college! Yet he paid big $ to never be told till bitter end. She passed. RIP

The staff is always friendly, the place is clean, and the prices are reasonable. I've been taking my dog there for about 2 years. They've gone above and beyond expectations to make sure my diabetic 10 year old rottweiler is healthy and happy. When my border collie had to cross the rainbow bridge they sent me a sympathy card that said a tree would be planted in her name and an inked paw print from her. I recommend this place to anyone who needs a great quality veterinarian who genuinely shows compassion and love to all who come through their doors.

Usually very pleased but this time I felt like we were taken advantage of..selling us food/pills that our dog that has cancer will never live long enough to use ..$310 for visit when we just wanted an update ..they sold us $40 worth of science diet food..which was a very small bag & $50 for 30 pills to stop diarreah that DIDN'T WORK ..just like the pills we paid for last time & the "culture" they took was not big enough to get results but still charged us $30 for ..normally we love the care we get ..but this time not so much ..

I have always been treated very well and so have my pets. They are very compassionate about the animals they serve. The wait time is usually minimal and the costs are fair. I will use them as long as I own pets. On 8-1-17 I had to have my 12 year old feline euthanized. All the staff was so kind and they were very compassionate. I was able to take my girl's remains home with me so I could bury her. Pet Haven has cared for my animals for 20 years.

We came in for a first time appointment after recently adopting a dog from a local shelter. Dr. Spiller did an amazing job of taking care of our dog. She started off with a warm greeting and petting our dog but she quickly transitioned to a check-up. She checked him out so effortlessly that our dog never realized it and we didn't either at first. This was very important for our dog who is shy and nervous, but she kept him at ease the entire time. She also answered so many 'first time parent' questions that we had and she was so patient with us and never rushed us. Turns out our dog had hookworms but the treatment worked great and now he's feeling normal and healthy. Thank you Dr. Spiller. Highly, highly recommend.

we took our puppy ( a golden retriever) to be neutered. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The veterinarian did an excellent job and our dog recovered very quickly from surgery. There was very little hair removed so it is almost unnoticeable. My dog came back very happy and was not stressed at all. I highly recommend this veterinary clinic. There prices are very reasonable as well.

Dr. Simon and the staff took such good care of our 7 month old lab puppy, Briseis. She tested positive for Parvo and with the help of Dr. Simon and all staff members at Pet Haven, she was back to her playful and onery self within days! After hearing how dangerous the Parvo virus is, we weren't sure if our Briseis was going to make it. We use to really like Pet Haven when Dr. Smith was there. After he was gone we started seeing a Dr. Spiller. It seemed like the front desk girls were not personable to the customers and wouldn't even acknowledge your pet. Wait a minute I thought these people love animals. One of our dogs was very sick and we took him in. I always thought Dr. Spiller's personality was not people friendly. She was examing our dog and said to us 'if it were my dog I would do this'. It made my husband and I felted like we weren't good dog parents. We were in a different situation than she was in....financially and I would not beable to carry our dog outside to go potty because of my health issue. Every visit she would pressure us getting their vaccinations, rabies were fine but the others for a 12 yr old dog we chose not to. Now we found a wonderful vet that is welcoming and very friendly staff.

Dr. Smith gets invited to exclusive veterinary conferences all expenses paid to learn the latest and greatest techniques and practices that know one else in kansas is even capable of, although he definitely arms the other veterinarians at pet haven with the knowledge and skills to ensure that their abilities to diagnose and problem solve to help various animals in the most effective way possible. vet clinics are never cheap but Dr Smith makes sure that common routine care as well as spaying/neutering is affordable so more animals can get the care that they truly need and I know he periodically checks with competition to make sure his clinic always has fair prices (excluding unprofessional vets or clinics) most of the money goes to investing in infrastructure and technology at pet haven as well as investing in his employees so they can take care of themselves and their families without worry. this place truly cares about their patients lives and well being and offers the best care in dare I say all of the Midwest that I know of.

The facility seemed better organized, the staff was great and the Vet our pup saw (Jenn, don't remember her last name) was awesome! No one was pushy, they were patient and informative. We have changed Vets and will be seeing them from now on. The Pet Haven grooming next door is where we always go for those needs... we've never had a grooming issue and they are reasonably priced, friendly folks!

My dog has seizures over the weekend and almost passed away. Monday night it happened again and he was pretty much unresponsive. When I called the vet to basically beg for an appointment they told me they couldn’t see him till two days later even tho I said, “he’s practically dying”. All they said was “sorry”. We took our cat in on a Saturday morning when our usual vet didn't have office hours and the problem might have been too serious to wait for a Monday. The staff and the vets are great. However, they have to do something about the wait time. We had an appointment for 10:50, we arrived at 10:40 and it was 11:20 and we were not called yet. We ended up leaving due to having another appt we had to keep. We actually reside in Texas (formerly from Wichita) and we still travel back to go to this clinic because we absolutely love them so much but the wait times are getting to be too long for us.

I've brought my cat to Pet Have since he was seven weeks old and he's nine years old now. They've been there for him from kittenhood and now into senior status. Awesome simply amazing. My current pets and my childhood pets have gone to this vet clinic since 1998. They have saved the lives of my animals multiple times and that of a cat we found on the side of the road hit by a car. They have very reasonable prices. They truly care, in my opinion if you care about your animal you should take them to pet haven.

I've been taking my pets here for several years after I was referred by a friend. Many of my friends with pets use Pet Haven - the longest would be about a decade and I've been using them since 2006. The quality of care and cost have both been consistently excellent. I typically don't see a particular vet and I've never been concerned about it since I've had a good experience with each one I've seen - even the one that was just filling in while one was out of the office. The vet techs have been excellent too. You can tell they enjoy their jobs and care about animals too. One of the things that keeps me coming back is the level of trust I have with them. They never upsell or quilt. My experiences with two other vet clinics in town was lots of upselling through quilt and overcharging for services. The fact that when I walk in I know they are going to give me advice, information and then allow me to make my own choice is a huge deal. That makes me trust them when they say - I recommend that you do this. I recommend Pet Haven to anyone looking for a vet in Wichita. Consistently excellent, caring, affordable.

No fancy place, not like other Vets who build their office as if was John Hopkins hospital and want to charge you for it. Those who do that couldn't be human Doc, so they became animal Doc. Real animal Doc do it for the animal not the title of Doctors. PET HAVEN DOC'S do for the animal. Good service good prices and Very Good DOCTORS who earned their title.
