While Henderson is very knowledgeable and professional, he has gotten unfortunately strange over the years. He only accepts cash or check after hanging his card reader by a noose of its own wiring over the counter. And after an entire lifetime of my entire family using him I was just turned away after enquiring after euthanasia because I moved out of state for two years. "Well I can tell you that Dr Henderson only euthanizes people who he has an ongoing relationship with." I don't know if you just call that bad customer service, something misspoken, or if he has gotten wacky enough that he really does only euthanize the people close to him.

My experience with this hospital was bad... the first visit was great but then my dog split his nail in half I took my dog in on Monday the 7th they took his nail of and glued it then on Saturday the 12th it split open but this time was worse there was blood every where on my kitchen floor my poor baby's paw bleeding from the same spot and when I called them to tell them about it... when I told them it was there mess up they told me I could bring him back in but would have to pay for it. When they admitted it on the phone that it was there mess up!!! I'm very disappointed in the fact that all they care about is money then about the care of my dog.... It's really upsetting will NEVER go back there again!!! If the doctor messed up then I shouldn't have to pay anything!!!

We have been with Dr. Henderson since 2009, when a friend referred us because she wouldn't take her dogs anywhere else. And even though we moved to Platte City in 2014, we still return for checkups and boarding. We have received nothing short of stellar service for 8 years now and wouldn't go anywhere else.

Kevin is an excellent veterinarian and a truly decent human being. Cares about each of his patients and goes out of his way to assist beyond the norm. Only thing I can say bad about the guy is that he has every jersey in the Big 12 EXCEPT KU. Rumor has it that he is frustrated by his Wildcats losing to imaginary birds. RCJH-KU!

He is both extremely knowledgeable, compassionate and willing to take the time to make sure you understand all that is going on with your pet. The Dr thinks old age is a disease. I took my elderly dog to this medical clinic for allergies and some coughing and he told me my dog has heart and lung failure and to just let him die. My family was devastated. I went to Bradley animal hospital in Lawrence KS for a second opinion and his heart and lungs are fine! No failure or death in his near future. I will NOT be going back to North Valley. They are not thorough in thier diagnosis or professional in my opinion.
