I’ve always been impressed with the level of customer service at El Paso Animal Hospital! I love the new facility, & Dr. McWilliams really made a lasting impression with me when i came in to get my rabbit, Neville, neutered. He made sure he was healthy before proceeding with surgery, even cleaned his bottom while he was under anesthesia, & then went so far as to bring him out to me at pick up. He told me he had done great & answered all of the questions I had. The girls at the check-out desk seemed like hard workers & were very friendly. I noticed there was some training going on which makes me think that El Paso is growing & adding more awesome people to their already awesome team. Keep up the great work you guys!

Honestly, I have not been very pleased with my experience with El Paso Animal Clinic in the past, and my family was considering finding a new place to take our babies. However, after our experience with Dr. Jessica, we'll definitely be staying! She was super patient and compassionate with our sick dog, and was more gentle than any of the doctors we've had here. I totally recommend getting your dog or cat checked out by her if you've also had negative experiences there. She patiently answered all the questions we had, whereas other doctors seem impatient when we've inquired. This really elevated our experience with the staff at El Paso. (Oh, and our dog was really pleased with the experience, too!) To get specific, she was loving with our dog when we came in, made sure that our dog was comfortable around her, and didn't do anything that made our dog extra nervous (which we have problems with). Very pleased.

Took my dog and found she had cancer in her paw. She had to have a toe removed .She healed great and the vets are awesome. Dr Mork treated our baby, very compassionate and thorough. Taking her back to have regular toe nail trims and hopefully a bath and grooming if they do it .Highly recommended

I brought my cat here yesterday with my husband because she stopped eating and drinking, Jeff was our vet. He was very knowledgeable and compassionate. Unfortunately my kitty had a pretty serious issue and Jeff was very open and honest about our options and costs. We had to make the hard decision to put her to sleep. We brought our other cat this morning to make sure he didn't catch what my other cat had, and Jeff gave us his condolences for her and was very kind and professional. He ran some tests for us and we're relieved to know that at least our other cat is healthy. I would certainly recommend this place, all of the staff were very helpful and kind.

I give El Paso Vet negative 5 stars. I brought my dog in because she was very sick and wasn't eating for a few days. She was there for 3 days and got exponentially worse every day. The only word that comes to mind is NEGLECT! They didn't care about my dog from the moment I brought her in to the moment they put her down. I've never seen my dog so sad in her life. I had her for almost 10 years and El Paso charged me $800 to watch her die

Today, I recieved in the mail, an honorary mention and gift from the Elpaso staff that goes to the Kansas State University Pet Tribute in honor of the pet I just lost a couple of weeks ago. The compassion, concern, friendliness, and welcoming attitude I experienced goes way off the charts. My baby and I could not have chosen a better place to live her final moments and pass so peacefully. And, here I thought I was done crying from this loss.... and gain. Thank you Elpaso Staff. El Paso pleasantly surprised me; after a previous experience with a different vet office, I was terrified to have the same outcome. The techs and doctors all took very good care of my dog. They were always so polite and answered all of my questions, never making me feel like I was a bother or in a rush, which I genuinely appreciate. The best you will find in the area. The wait can be long, but there is a reason-once you bring your animal here you will not go anywhere else. The staff is friendly and compassionate. They really care about animals- a trait some veterinarians have lost. See my other reviews for an example. I will never go anywhere else, my animals mean too much to me. The prices are also fair, an added bonus, but I would pay double for the level of care El Paso provided.

I was told they were the best priced services around but I'm not so sure now. Took my 8 week old (previously neglected) puppy there for diarrhea and vomiting. They supposedly ran a fecal exam which is how they diagnosed her with the coccidia parasite but a few days on her antibiotics she started passing the largest roundworms I have ever seen. If you did a fecal exam and found microscopic parasites how could you miss an INFESTATION of roundworm... Or perhaps they didn't miss it and just decided I didn't need to know about it? Considering roundworm is zoonotic and can be transmitted to humans, like my three children and I, as well as my rabbits and cats I find it highly reckless and unprofessional to not disclose such findings and even worse if went completely unnoticed. And all the unnecessary extras that I was charged for and never even given the option of not purchasing racked the bill up well over $500. Like $18 for a case of 6 cans of wet dog food I didn't need... I have Blue Buffalo wet dog food at home! And a 5oz bottle of "rebound canine recuperation" that supposedly helps stimulate the appetite, which has never been an issue and despite not using she continues to eat without problems. The actual in-house hospitalization was a lot less expensive than I was expecting, considering I had to leave the dog there a day longer than I was supposed to because the office personnel couldn't figure out the bill when I was there to pick her up. Overall I was not impressed with the billing, in the total or in how they couldn't get the bill ready before the time the vet told me I would be able to pick her up, allowing them to charge me more. I'm also not impressed with the fact that they feel they can just charge you for useless extras and force you to pay for it. You don't even know what they're charging you for until after you pay the bill. Kind of shady in my opinion

Dr. Herod and his staff have taken excellent care of me and my pup Monte for nearly 15 years. I've driven from Wichita, Newton and Bel Aire to stay in his care. Dr. Herod, and all of the doctors I've encountered, are compassionate, knowledgeable and attentive. The new building is wonderful, including the children's area and "rainbow crossing room." I love that I can board my pup where he is known, I've even been able to place my elderly pup in hospital care while away on business, assured he'd be monitored and given medications. I do wish we could make appointments or "call ahead." Since I travel 30 minutes, waiting and receiving care, then driving back can eat up half a day. Even still, I highly recommend El Paso!

We didn't have the best experience. We were there to get my girl spayed. This was paid for by the rescue we adopted her from. All of the staff were very nice except our vet. He acted like I was a bother. He was very pushy about everything and I felt like it was all about money. I received very little home care information, while the vet was going over discharge instructions he walked away to talk to a friend and never returned. This was a chance for them to gain a new customer instead I would never recommend them to anyone.

Came here for a reptile vet to see my baby Beardie, Dovah, worried about tail rot. Dr. Jessica checked him all over and was very reassuring, thorough, and had no trouble at all handling my wildly skittish baby lizard. She weighed him and her assistant also had no trouble handling him. She prescribed some antibiotics to be safe, and I checked out. My visit came to about $55, of which the exam itself cost $41.50. More reasonable than I could have hoped, and Dr. Jessica and her assistant were wonderful. If you're looking for a reptile vet, I highly recommend this facility. They don't generally make appointments so you may sit around in the waiting room for a while, but you can probably get in the day you inquire, which is great if something suddenly comes up.

I finally got the answers I needed for my fur baby. I was honestly thinking that I was going to need to put my boy down since the prior vet wasn't doing anything to help (except take my money), but El Paso gave me so many other options, and it turns out he just had horrible allergies gone wild! I have been using El Paso for years. All of the staff are friendly and I really like some of the doctors. I took my new puppy in the other day for his shots, I waited in the waiting room for 40 minutes, which was fine, then they placed me into the exam room, after about 10 minutes the lights went out. I initially thought the power was out, but when I stood up they came back on, ok motion sensor, no problem. This happened 3 more times as I sat and waited for 40 minutes for the doctor. Finally, I got up and left, went to Atwood's and bought my own shots and administered them in less than 2 minutes.

Excellent veterinary clinic. Provided me service at a starting rate of $41 for the initial exam. Wait time was about 10 minutes ( I came in as a walk-in) . Paperwork was quick and easy. Staff was very professional and friendly. I was greeted with a smile and sincere attention to all my concerns of my pet. Overall exam when finished cost around $90 which included the initial exam, a few shots, and 3 medications to take home. Definitely would recommend for low cost with excellent genuine medical care.

Caring staff who do an excellent job, doctor appointment's are scheduled in timely manner and they understand that not everyone can have several hundreds of dollars sat aside for emergencies all the time therefore wouldn't hurt to ask if surgery is needed to make scheduled payment arrangements. Only thing I have noticed is no matter what pet is being seen for plan on staying several hours prior to arriving to keep from running late any where after your pets being seen.

My dog was hit by a car on a Friday night, they were the closest vet open on Saturday. How fortunate for us!!! They took him for x-rays and although fairly minor he needed to stay. Dr. McKinney has been amazing. She kept me posted about his well being and about cost with each surgery he needed. Closest vet? Yes. Best vet? Absolutely!!!

My visit was great, free food and drinks, nice nurses/doctors, and comfy seating makes for a great visit for pets and their owners alike. My only complaint is that the wait was horrendus: I waited almost 5 hours, and it seemed that people that checked in after me got seen before I did, it was only when I voiced my complaint to the check-in lady that I was seen.

I don’t live in Kansas anymore, but came down for a visit and brought my almost 1 year old cat with me to be neutered. Until I moved away, my family and I have always been going to El Paso and they’ve just gotten better. They were awesome! The wait was short, the doctors and techs were easily able to answer all my questions/concerns, re-microchipped my cat for free as I’d done it with them previously, but for whatever reason no scanner could find the first chip, and called me twice to tell how he did and when I was able to pick him up. I don’t think my cat even realized what had happened as he acted completely normal the moment we got back to where we were staying. To top it off, while I was checking out, my family adopted one of their available cats and were able to tell us his story and everything. I wish there was an El Paso location where I live in Washington!

They are amazing! Compassionate, kind, helpful. We came in with our cat who had been hit by a motorcycle. They saw us immediately. The vet was quick and thorough and didn't try to do any unnecessary tests just to up our bill. Toby stayed 2 nights and had to have surgery, but it was affordable and they sent us home with ALL our necessary meds and supplies we needed for wound care. All my animals will come here from now on!

The place is super friendly and fancy but they messed up so many times. My dog had her puppies there and even after they had gone to new homes and the new owners were bringing them in there were issues looking them up because they were all under my dog which was somehow under my mother.. whose dog I taken occasionally as well.. even after trying to fix this debacle on several occasions and them assuring me it was all sorted out we figured out they managed to skip one of the puppies' rabies shots. And spayed her with no rabies shot on file. Granted, two of the puppies that got transferred to other vets had literally nothing on their records despite being spayed and vaccinated there. To top things off my dog tore her CCL while I was out of town, I called in to let them know she was coming and but she would need Tramadol or meloxicam, they sent her home with Rimadyl which they absolutely no questions asked should have known she was allergic to. That's four separate occasions they have put animals I love in danger for their lives and I can't believe I let it get that far.

I cant sat enough good things about this animal hospital. They are so kind and understanding they work with you if you have financial issues. They don't just see cats and dogs but they also see exotic animals I took my ball python in and the vet gave her soft dog food and B12 shot and now my girl better. I took the dog and cat there to get neutred and spayed they called me with an update I was relieved they found out mh Doberman had a clotting disease and they saved her life during her spayed. I can never thank them enough for what they do for animals of all kind absolutely amazing the staff is so kind and the doctors are amazing. Recommend them to anyone that is looking for a wonderful vet.
