My dog had an accident while I was away, she cut her wrists from broken glass from a window that she had broke. So I called for the emergency team when I got home and we met at the vet. Ect. Her care taker was rude, he took her weight and said she'd be there all night. The next say they were refusing to give me my dog back until I paid them a portion of the bill, with no warning or written agreement the night before. The receptionists were very rude, I asked for my dogs medical records and she rudely declined, and said I won't get them until the bill is fully paid. I would highly recommend that you don't go to countryside if you want the best care for your pet. As professionalism is not a high priority on their list.

Jerry has been the vet for my family's dogs, cats, cattle... Even when I lived 300 miles away, he was the one I felt comfortable when it was time for my old dogs to feel better. We are back living close to Great Bend again and having Jerry and the staff take care of our beloved pets now, is wonderful.

I took my little guy there, got his boosters and neuter. That went perfectly and I wasn't completely sure what I needed to do to get his stitches out 2 weeks later so I called(15 minuted to close!) and they explained that I needed an appointment but I was leaving town the next day so they said to come in before close and they took care of it for me! Wonderful service! Both doctor Hayek and Neidree are the bomb dot com! Thanks guys!

I’d say I was happy about my first visit for my dog but I’d absolutely be lying if I said so. Dr. Needree (or however it’s spelled) was the most unprofessional a**hole I’ve ever had the unfortunate pleasure of meeting. I brought my dog in for what I assumed was tremors or seizures and he abruptly made it known that “with his 20 years of practice” that my opinion didn’t really matter. Later he agreed with me on the case of it WAS SEIZURES NOT WORMS. I also asked about a healthier alternative like a CBD spray for dogs and he practically called me a pot head infront of the other doctor. Super mad at the service I got here. NEVER getting an opinion from your veterinarian clinic again!

I took my dog in to meet the staff and to be microchipped. The staff were awesome, the doctor was thorough in explaining everything and was so good with my dog. I am in awe of the love and support if the doctor and staff. I would highly recommend this veterinary hospital to anyone!

Horrible! This is the worst vet I've ever taken my pets to. After taking my dog to Dr. Hayek numerous times, she simply told me that my dog would have to live with her limp and severe diarrhea. Since my dog had lost 66% of her body weight from the diarrhea, I questioned her prognosis and decided to find a more qualified vet. When I asked for her records so I could do so, they then wanted to charge me for them. Then three months later, I started receiving bills that "they had forgotten to charge for" with finance charges added. I paid the bill and demanded my dogs records. When I read through the records, there were more comments about me than about my dog. I couldn't believe it! She was more focused on pettiness and being right than healing my dog. DO NOT go here!!! Pet care should be about your pet and that is simply not the case at Countryside Vet Asses.

Transfered Vet offices from Wichita to Great Bend, had my dogs vac records sent over. Dr saw my furbaby and prescribed him anxiety medicine for his SEVERE ANXIETY when traveling. (Our home base is in Ks, and we travel for business). We then, of course, had to travel and Rexy had to take his aloted dose. Today we called in for a refill, and the vet would NOT FILL IT. The receptionist says she didnt have Rexys vac records. When I pointed out how that could not be true; because otherwise how would I have gotten into my first apt? Then she said, Well it may be in your file, but I have not seen it". Really? Go get my file out, lady and look at it!?!?! "The Dr. doesnt feel comfortable mailing it". What? Ummm....He prescribed the medication precisely BECAUSE we travel! Well NEWS FLASH..some people have to travel for a living! What heartless vet!!!! It's so sad because Rexy is a wreck without his medication and it takes a whole day for him to get calm again! You would think theu would care A LOT MORE.

My n puppy was very sick and they took everything serious. They kept us updated and aware of all that was going on. The price for care is great! For a three overnight stay with hospital this case it was $114! They saved my puppy and I am forever grateful!
