Great staff. Dr's are fantastic and I love that I can ask for refills on scripts and you don't have to bring your fur babies in to be seen each time you need a refill. Our Yorkie is totally comfortable with all the staff and she gets excellent care.

I have been going to see Dr. James for close to 10 years. I have tolerated the receptionist over the years because of the doctor's care of my pets. I can no longer tolerate the rude response I get when I call for simple things such as worm pills. Every time I call I get into an argument with the receptionist. I just wanted to get worm pills for my dogs. I have purchased them before and they were $8 -10. The dogs I had before were bigger than the dogs I have now. I asked for pricing for worm pills less the heart worm because I don't have $70 - 100 to test both of them. She put me on hold, comes back and said they will be $28 each because they are large dogs. I said one dog weighs 30 lbs and that is not large. She very rudely replies "she's 33 lbs hold on!" I just hung up. I can't take it anymore. I can get worm and flea medicine anywhere. Not a big deal . I'm tired of being talked down to and disrespected. I'm sad to say that it's time to move on.

Dr. James was a great help when i took my Leopard Gecko in. Prices were reasonable, staff were friendly, only slight complaint would be the wait time to be seen by the vet was a little long. All in all, Dr. James seems to be very knowledgeable when it comes to reptiles :)

We got our kittens in January from the humane society, which included a free vet visit/checkup. New to the area and new to pet ownership (on our own anyway), we made the mistake of taking them to the closest vet instead of the best vet. After a couple of visits we started looking around at other vets, and came across Cimarron. The reviewers tell it like it is! The staff is friendly, and loves animals (of all shapes and sizes). They are courteous, friendly, and very communicative to the owners, and they treat our kittens as if they were their own! We've only tried two vets in Wichita, but this one is by far the best!

The staff at Cimarron Animal Hospital are the greatest. Dr. James is an extremely caring vet. I have taken my ferrets there for years. She has given me much more time with my babies because of her knowledge and skill and care. When I had to take my 7yr old ferret in for his mercy shot, they all cried with me. Connie came over & gave me a big hug & cried with me. When a vet staff feels your pain and cries with you like that, well, that's really, truly caring! I would never recommend anyone else but Cimarron if you have exotics, they know their exotics and they care. Thanks Cimarron & Dr. James.

I am a resident falconer and have special vet needs. Very few vets in Wichita provide care for Birds of prey. I was treated with great respect. The price of services was very fair. I didn't feel like I was paying for someones doctorate and new building. I am very comfortable in their knowledge to provide my birds with the care that is needed. This is the only vet I will go to.

I was very worried about my pet before the visit. I knew that my baby was not going to enjoy the visit one bit. (Hedgehogs likely wouldn't) Even though my little spiky one didn't have fun I could tell that the vet truly cared and understood about my animal. As a owner of an exotic pet it was so important to me to see how she acted towards my pet. I would refer her to all exotic pet owners. If she sees them, I know she will take good care of each visitor.

I absolutely LOVE Dr James and her whole staff. They have taken amazing care of all of my babies (mine and foster) over the past 13 years. They helped me through one of the hardest times of my life when I had to escort my baby to Rainbow Bridge (when I was 8.5 months pregnant.) I will recommend them to anyone and everyone!!!! I love dr james, her partner not so much, but after the recent experences ive had with the receptionist i have decided to move on. She had no empathy when it was reported my pet died, and no desire to work with us at all with scheduling when another was clearly very ill. We have seen 2 vets at Cimarron and both take time to explain what's going on with my dog and answer all my questions. I feel like my pets are cared for. The staff at Cimarron are always excited to see my 3 dogs (even the yappy one) and they seem to truly enjoy what they are doing. That says a lot about a business! Plus they call a few days later to check in on your dogs when they've been seen for a problem. It is nice to be able to ask questions and get reassurance that my dog is healing as expected. I would recommend Cimarron to anyone looking for a vet!

I don't often leave reviews. However, I am compelled to by the great treatment that we have received. My little fur baby is epileptic and requires more attention and cost than I can most times afford. These people are caring, knowledgeable and fun! The staff and Dr.'s have always been willing and ready to work with us. They have not charged for consults, assisted us with medications and performed some things as a courtesy. We appreciate them and I feel at ease whenever my little gal has to stay with them! Thank you to everyone!

Our experience has been superb every time we’ve taken our dog to this hospital. We’ve utilized the great veterinary care, boarding, meds, and emergency services. Our dog is a Bichon mix and is very shy around others, but she seems to “tolerate” these nice folks. We are sure of getting excellent treatment and caring from the entire staff whenever we utilize their services. Because of her shyness, they gave us some recommended names of people who come into the home when you need to board your dog, but our pet still prefers Cimarron. You cannot go wrong by trusting these doctors and the staff.

Dr Skinner, Dr James, and the entire staff here are great to work with. They are very reasonably priced [lets face it- that matters], but you get a lot more than you pay for. I have three dogs, and have taken them all here. I refer anyone I meet who has pets here. they have worked me in immediately, with no appointment for emergency issues, twice. These guys are great!

We bought a pet here after he got into a fight with another animal. Our pet lived through the fight and we took him here. When we told the vet that we were afraid he may have gotten rabies and they told us they would taken him to be tested. We agreed that would be a good idea but after we agreed they told us that they would be testing through the brain and our pet would be killed in the process. We obviously asked to have our loved pet back but they refused because it was a ‘liability’. So essentially we took our pet here to be saved but they ended up killing him anyway. Don’t take your pets here.

Took my 6lb mini chi in because of bloody (raspberry jam) watery stools. Fearing dehydration, shock and death. I was given some oral meds and sold two Advantix (Marked "NOT FOR RETAIL SALE"? Yes they sold me free samples!!!) and sent us home with - "Call us if she gets worse". That night my chi vomited up the meds and kept vomiting all night. The next morning I called and requested that I drop off my dog for observation. They did not bother to return my call until almost 30 minutes after they opened and I was already at work for the day. These people only care about money. What is wrong with the vets in this town???

A few weeks ago, we needed to make special plans for little Ralphy, he was 15+ years old and his overall physical health had declined in the past few months.
