the long haired lady is the rudest, nastiest person ever. I took my cat there for an ear infection, and they told me it was a polyp, and they wanted to do some kind of "deep cleaning" of the ear. he was to be put out and i was to drop him off early. I did drop him off at 8am, and by 8:45 they had called me FOUR times to change the procedure, and jack up the price. I went and got my cat, and took him to another vet, where they informed me, that the cat DID NOT have a polyp but a TUMOR! These people also killed my friends cat, when it went in for worms!!! STAY AWAY if you love your animal!

Our 10 yr old Maine Coon,Angel, was really sick and she wouldn't eat or go potty. Dr Pettis took blood work and figured out what was wrong and gave her meds and in less than a week we saw improvement and she saved our furry daughter.I don't know what I would do without Dr Pettis at the CB Vet! There is a young short guy that is a vet there and called Angel overweight at the time.She weight 12 lbs. For a large breed cat, that is petite. She growled at him after that. We always ask for someone else. Dr Pettis is new but amazing and very nice.

My puppy is 8 weeks and she caught parvo, as I was so scared nervous didn't know what to do council bluffs veterinary clinic put me at ease! They gave me options with affordable prices and worked with me to pay for my baby to have the best care she could get! They kept her for three days and she is now back to her old self! Thank you so much for taking such great care of Nova. ❤️ They explained everything so I knew what was going on! I was able to call as often as I wanted to keep updated an was able to visit her daily!

It's very good place I had taken lots of my baby's there. An there was two times that turned out not to be very good day.because I had to but to of my baby down.and hurt so bad but there was nothing they could do. And that happens but there always helpfully and very caring.and very nice matter a fact my baby buster going there this week to get nail cut so he's going to berry mad because he hates them getting down. I can't say anything wrong with the place been going there for years

The most excellent caring staff. Our 18 month old Boxer was beyond sick and needed a very expensive surgery that we couldnt afford. They let us put down a percentage of the total and let us make payments on the rest. Dr. Michael was beyond nice and caring. I cannot thank them enough.

I have used this place for years. The female vet is the worst. Why isn't there an option to give these people no stars. They did surgery on my 6 week old puppy who had a double hernia and she ended up with parvo. Now these people are sitting here trying to say that they didn't do it and that they're not going to help me because they haven't had parvo in their office for years. They said that it must be my dogs that contracted the parvo and I explained to them that this is my third litter of puppies that I've taken to them and none of them had ever had parvo previously so how could my puppy who never went outside or around other people have contracted it when the only place she had been was their office. So they would not help me with the other two puppies and their momma because they said it was my fault and it wasn't my fault. My dog got parvo from their office and they knew she hadn't had her shots yet. Now I need to bring my adult dog to see them because she's yelping and crying and I had owed them $70 last year because my CareCredit got maxed out when I had to use other resources to medicate my dogs for that parvo. It ended up costing me almost $3,000 and they won't let me take a couple of days to come up with the money if they see her today because I never paid them $70 for 3 months but it's paid now and it has been paid for a year.

Great Staff, Great Facility, as well as Vets That Do Really Care. My adult Labrador was hit by a car, dislocating his leg from hip, scraps, cuts, as well as a bit a hole in his tongue, and had a lotta pain, got him in right away, and within 24hrs, had no real pain, and getting around very well in his sling he has to wear for a minimum 2wks to heal. Would recommend this place to anyone. DVM Michael D Steven is a Great Doctor, and a real Animal Lover, went over every detail with me as well. Thank You Doc.

Took my welping Lab in because she had lumps. They gave her some antibiotic but it makes her sick and the throws it up. They tried to get me for $300 worth of unnecessary blood work ($85) and antibiotic for an ear infection that he even admitted whatever antibiotic she was on would cure the ear. I don't have the proposal in front of me but I felt like I was at that animal hospital in Omaha that bills you $300 an hour in the waiting room,. When I called him back to let him know my dog was having a reaction to the antibiotic, I thought he would change the prescription but he told me to give her 4 tsp of Pepsid but he added "if you don't want to come in and get her some blood work (that she didn't need) and x-rays (that wasn't even proposed) then give her pepsid. Almost like since I don't want to shell out $300 for extra stuff I'm not getting a different antibiotic. THIS PLACE IS ALL ABOUT THE MONEY. They could care less about you or your pet. You have been warned.

I took my 12 week kitty there last night. He was hypoglycemic with a Blood sugar of 23. He was dehydrated also. My kitty went back in to an almost unconscious state after about four hours. The vet was supposed to call me this am about blood work that was done yesterday. I called lifted two messages this am and not return call. The cost for lactate ringers and some dextrose was over 300.00. If they really cared about Cheshie money or not they would have contacted me back. I'm sad and disappointed because they seemed sweet and caring but I did let it be known that I could not afford much more than 300.00 dollars and funny that's what my bill was and didn't get a return call back.

Absolutely no customer service at all. I used to like this place. Guess we will go somewhere else. She needs a class on customer service.

CBVC must have overhauled their staff since I last needed them. Lisa, the gal that assisted me at the front desk went out of her way to get my cat the attention that he needed, and in a timely manner. All of the techs that assisted were very helpful as well. The memories I had when I visited last were of lazy, entitled and rude workers. I wont call them techs. I am glad to see dr hobbs turn this place around. I will be using CBVC in the future

First of all this vet clinic has two very wonderful and knowledgeable veterinarians Dr Michaels and Dr Pettis . With that being said their secretary / front office staff leaves much to be desired . We have taken our dogs to this vet clinic for years and have had problems with their staff . We seriously considered finding a new clinic to go to but really like those two veterinarians . I wish I could give 5 stars but until they get replacements for the 2 bad apples in their front office staff I have to stick with the two stars . They have two front office staff members that are rude , Snide , vindictive and just horrible to deal with named Mellissa and Lisa. Unfortunately I have to judge the clinic as a whole and not just on the veterinarians.

No one at the front desk. I stood there until a customer told me to sign in on the board. I still waited. When I did get someone's attention, I gave her the stool sample. She just said someone would be with me soon. She started to walk away and I said don't you want to know who's stool sample that's for? Then proceeded to ask me oh why are you here? I explained. She took my name and walked off. Not even looking at me and walked away. The entire staff was aloof . Let's just say this was the most unpersonable and bad experience. The vet didn't even introduce herself I tried to explain about having horrendous amount of fleas in our home. I had a Seresco collar on my dog and explained what had been going on. She just looked for flea feases and said no fleas. I had to continually stop her from leaving the room to tell her what had been going on. I knew my dog was really sick having some sort of seizures. I explained my dog had fleas in his poop. She said that's not possible and asked me where the stool sample was? I said I don't know someone at the front took it. As soon as I get the blood tests back I'm going to another Vet.
