Recently had to have my beloved dog put down , as anyone that has had to do this , this is a very traumatic experience . Having the indignity to ask payment while in the room just before the injections , from a previous patron in good standing(paid every bill before I left )seemed extremely heartless and uncaring . Being told that it is industry standard , does not mean it's right or should be continued ! Not to be out done , while I held my dying friend , the attendants in the next room were laughing and joking disturbingly loudly about their holidays. Is this what humanity has come to? The lack of decency displayed for a professional business really needs immediate attention , and the subsequent trama has left a injury that will NEVER heal . How would you feel if this had taken place at one of your family's funeral ? Until these things are addressed I couldn't suggest or recommend this veterinary clinic

I discovered this place when I unfortunately had to put my 16 year old Boston Terrier down due to old age and health issues. They treated my dog with such respect and dignity, and myself with empathy. I really appreciated that. As far as pricing is concerned, they are very reasonable. Overall, our experience was very good considering the circumstances. We will be switching vet clinics to this place. They are a wonderful group of people.

Horses aren't even pose to have that much plus you didn't even know what was wrong with her u just guessed off the experienced you had with your father and his liver cancer. So pissed out wondering how many family pets you have done this too. How can you live in with ur self. You shouldn't even be a vet.

My experience was very sad my baby of almost 12 yrs had to be put down , I Was and am devastated but I know she is ok now she was very lively and active right up to about a week...But I cannot say enough about this place and staff thank you for taking us in you didn’t even know us but you were so kind and got us in immediately they helped me with support in the decision I was going to make and I cannot thank you enough..as hard as it was and it was the hardest thing I’ve ever done the staff gave me as much time as needed with her and was just so kind thank you, If I ever do get another dog I will go with you guys for sure!! Thank you so much for the help given and I’m at peace knowing I made the right choice.....

I brought my Pit bull mix in because his nails were Dragon lady nails. My other vet didn't do grooming. I tried but it didn't go well. I was also told by our previous vet he had demodex mange. Dr Hoisington sat on the floor cuddling him while Diane cut his nails. They did skin scrapping and he does not have demodex mange. This is scurvy and now he is being properly treated for it along with a double ear infection. He was so relaxed afterwards he wanted to stay. I will be bringing both my boys here from now on. I have never been more happy with a place who takes care of my two furry boys (cats). Dr. Jan Allard is amazing, honest, and thorough as well as great with my cats. The veterinary technician Mariah is also very kind, and asked me plenty of questions about my animals as well as made a lot of good recommendations to me. My cats absolutely adore her. I had a very good visit today, and would trust AHC with my pets any day. Fantastic people, very knowledgeable, and made good, honest recommendations as well as had very helpful and thoughtful advice. I am given peace of mind for my cats because of them and would recommend them to anyone who loves their pets as much as I do and is looking for quality care and checkups.

I left another vet practice years ago when being guilted to do more and more to my pets. I like the AHC respects my wishes and levels of intervention that I'm comfortable with. Never feel like I'm being judged for not doing all sorts of treatments or tests. We have been taking our dog and cats there for years now and have been very happy.

Loved my experience with Animal Health Center in Laramie, WY!! My dog is a rescued Akita/Husky mix, and she is a very timid, shy dog in unfamiliar surroundings and with strangers. The Doctor and techs were very sweet and gentle, and I really appreciated that!!! The clinic is also very clean, and spacious, and the cost was very affordable for our routine yearly wellness check and vaccines.

I made a FB post looking for recommendations and no less than 10 people suggested animal health center. They are the only vet in Laramie that has an agreement set up with BDAR and we are so grateful for what they do. Words can not adequately convey my deep admiration for all of the fine and caring people at Animal Health Center. My late dog Max became very sick very fast and Dr. Steuer went far above and beyond to try to help Max get better. And while he outcome wasn't one we all had hoped it would be, it wasn't due for the lack of trying everything possible by Dr's Steuer and Dr. Sanders and the entire staff. When the time came to set Max free, Dr. Sanders and the staff where kind, supportive and so very compassionate. I couldn't have imagined any better care for my best buddy. Now I have a new puppy who was just seen by Dr. Steuer and we will continue to be loyal patients of Animal Health Center. I wouldn't go anywhere else for the care of my dog.

The Animal Health Center in Lancaster, Missouri is a very open friendly enviroment. Their is always smiling faces and happy customers when you walk through the door. It is organized and cleaned to the best of the ability, however, it is a vets office and they can sometimes have a slight smell or be a little dirty, but they do a great enough job to keep it sparkling! Doctor Foster always take his time with each animal that walks through the door, and does the best diagnoses he can. Everybody has hiccups but if he makes a mistake he owns up to it and tries to suggest better options for your animals. He is spectacular on his prices and does not ever charge as much as other places for something so simple. Hes a great conversationalist, and loves to hear your stories and talk. The receptionist does her job very well by staying busy and making sure she gets people in and out and taken care of. Anytime Doc needs some help she is right their by his side and willing to take on whatever task it is he wants her to do. Its always a pleasure getting to walk through the door of this office and seeing the smiling faces and the kind words and laughs surrounding! Truly feels like a safe enviroment and very welcoming!

I live in Massachusetts but have been coming to this clinic for years. My Yellow Lab had surgery there for a growth on his toe. My husky was spayed and got all of her shots here. I like the friendliness and the fees are not killing my budget. I stopped going there for a few years after my Lab died of kidney cancer but now I have a new baby he is a pitbull ( a rescue ) I went back for an exam for him. They are pitbull friendly = not everybody is = ( No discrimination at all ) My Husky had some urinating issues too. They called me a few times to check on the dog, they gave me the results on all the tests and some good advice. I do not mind traveling 1.5 hours for an appointment, my dogs love it too .

The sign was to small for me to see notice off the highway. The staff was friendly and very helpful. I would recommend getting your furry baby spayed or neutered here. The price is more reasonable then other places. They only keep your baby overnight a upon request. So be warned your little one will be very sleepy and act like they are drunk when walking or standing.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMALS TO THIS VETS OFFICE! What a total waste of money. My sister took her Boston Terrier who had puppies in yesterday afternoon. The vet took one look at her, did not do a through check and acted like my brother in law was an idiot for bringing her in. His exact words were "this is not her first rodeo and she will be fine". This morning we got up and found her dead. When my sister called their office to inform them that she would not be paying the bill (she was upset and hung up on her after she said what she needed to say)the receptionist called back and was extremely rude trying to state how great of a vet he is (obviously not) and that she would be billed regardless even though the dog died. Absolutely no remorse and was very argumentative and extremely rude. Hope the $25 collection bill is worth it for this guy and his sideshow of idiots that runs his office. 55 years of experience doesn't mean jack if you don't perform your job correctly. Absolutely disgusting the way they handled this situation and the conversation with his receptionist after the fact. Do yourself a favor and do not take your animals to these hacks. No one should be going through what my sister is going through now over their lack of care.

My fiance had to take her dog in last minute because she wasn't eating her food. The staff was very willing to get her in and didn't push to spend money that didn't need to be spent. It was an expensive bill but her dog is eating again and doing much better. We live in Kansas and were in town. We called on Thursday morning and they got her in Thursday afternoon. Thank You!

I always tell folks that if my house was on fire I would be after one thing....my Pal Gemini the Cat. When she became ill, I was beside myself. AHC got me in the same day on a Friday and ran her thought the full range of tests. I was able to cap my visit in terms of $$ and they came in under it no problem. Not only is Gemini Le Chat 'back in the pink' but we now have a great place to take her for her health needs. Dr. Hoisington, Dr. Bradley, and the rest of the staff have always shown great care, conscientiousness and professionalism towards our dogs..and to us. All our dogs have lived to over 14 years of age...even our larger breeds. We know that it is in no small part to Animal Health Center's care for them. They showed great compassion and kindness to us when we had to put our dog down last week. They have even followed up with supportive calls and emails since his passing.
