Our experiences with Tippecanoe Animal Hospital have been extremely positive. Dr. Becker was our vet for our rabbit when we lived in Indiana, and my wife and I were really impressed with her professionalism and care. She's very knowledgeable and helpful, but she is also so personable and concerned for her patients. She really seems invested in their well-being and always took the time to care for our bunny and talk with us about him and our concerns about him. She's easily the best vet we've ever visited; I can't recommend her enough!

Have always worked with Dr. Becker - she is the only vet I trust there. Dr. Becker is always very thorough yet does not overdo anything so you can be sure your animal is getting the care it needs without being charged or having my animal(s) go through tests and procedures they do not need. I DO NOT recommend Dr. Reiger if he is still at the practice - he has little compassion.

I've visited a few different vet clinics in town, and these vets are by far the best. Like others mention, the place lacks visual charm but the quality of care more than makes up for it. I have two German shepherds, which I know can be intimidating in appearance. I've had other vets request my dogs be on sedatives for visits which I think is overkill. Of course my dogs are going to be uncomfortable with 2-3 vets holding them down for shots. At Tippecanoe animal hospital, the vet allows me to help with the visits/shots. My dogs trust me and the vet listens when I tell her not to bring in extra hands to the exam room because that just escallates the anxiety. I genuinely trust the staff here and it shows through my dogs trusting them, too. I haven't had my younger pup spayed yet, but I really appreciate our vet in helping me make the decision for when to do that. She walked me through pros and cons of early vs late spaying for my breed, putting no pressure on me to go either way. Ultimately, I feel empowered with the knowledge she shared with me.

Love this place! They genuinely care, they are not high end in appearance, but the quality of care is! The cost is way less expensive than other places I have experienced. We have 4 large breed dogs we bring for care. We recently has an emergency visit and everything went very smoothly. Communication is excellent!

my chihuahua had a really bad vaccine reaction the place before here and he still needed a rabies and neuter and ever since i brought him in, he was not terrified and actually was happy going in and happy going out. plus they treated him for fleas and didn't charge me bc my neighbors dogs had them. they were very very good with him. i recommend this place. i am part of the SNAP program with the shelter adoption program and they didn't treat me poorly because of my income. i felt respected and that my dog was treated with care and respect.

They've taken my dogs in twice this week without an appointment. One dog needed minor surgery for a loose nail and one had a very upset stomach. This place is amazing. Not too expensive and they really care about your animals. They also don't try to do unnecessary work for extra charge. I will always take my animals here. We've been going here so long that my husband's father even took his dogs here. Never any issues. I can not thank them enough.

My loving cat Puma managed to injure his tail trying to open a spring door. It slammed shut on his tail causing a break and literally ripped the fur and flesh off 2 inches. He was in pain and his tail had exposed bone. 2 people referred me to Tippy Animal Hospital. When I called, I guess they were busy and refused to see him and actually told me to call another clinic!! That's really sad because as people, we can go into any hospital and seek help without being refused....regardless of how busy they are. Animals are no different to me. They should be able to get the care they need without being refused just because the clinic is busy!! I called Pet Medical Center and they took him right away and had his tail amputated and in recovery within 90 minutes! I even received pictures of the procedure to ensure my Puma was in good hands! I am so glad I went there instead!!!!!

To Purity Mason, I am sorry that you thought Dr. Reiger had no compassion. For anyone who can be an Indiana foster parent, and still do his job as a vet, I say kudos and A+ to him. He is an elderly man, and most elderly individuals don't have that "funny" or "quirky" attitude or sense of humour like the younger generation. I have always used him as our vet. My parents have also used him as our vet. And he has done an amazing job. We have 6 cats currently that see him, and in the past two other cats of ours also saw him. But they are now in kitty cat heaven. He does show compassion in his own way. But, he is also cut and dry and gets right to the point. Dr. Becker is also amazing when Dr. Reiger isn't working. "Purity Mason 8 months ago- Have always worked with Dr. Becker - she is the only vet I trust there. My chinchilla got his leg stuck in his cage and broke it a few weeks ago. We brought him there after Purdue vet suggested for amputation because they were cheaper. They were nice and cheaper than any where around.

Going down hill quickly. Age is a catching up with everyone.... that was first clue. Last straw was having to put down our Best Friend. .. I called 48 hours before to get procedures for this, goal was to reduce his suffering if his illness progressed and wanted to know specifically how to plan for appt/ was told I could call and they’d work us in immediately. I clarified this!! .. so as Best Friend got worse; Decisions made. And ... no appointment available.. when I ask to speak to Dr R , I get call from front office telling me ..“we can squeeze you in today”... Thanks for being so thoughtful! Got feeling front office was upset because they had told me no and Dr R reversed decision; just thought it was really COLD at a horrible time. I’ll not be investing/coming back ever. I’ll make sure those close to me know to look elsewhere first.

Our canine/feline family has always gone here for our veterinary service. Dr. Becker and Dr. Reiger are the two vets here that we see most often. Both are very down to earth, have good communication skills and are both compassionate and practical doctors. We've been going here over 10 years (maybe more? =) ) and haven't ever been disappointed with their service, advice and their prices are reasonable for surgeries, etc.

While they did a good job on neutering my cat, the office staff, specifically the girl named Brittney doesn't seem to want to help anyone and is very rude! I brought my cat in with clean ears.. walk out with ear mites. Ridiculous!
