Noah's Westside Animal Hospital lives up to the rating they have here. I took our one-eyed Jack Russell in because her one remaining eye was showing symptoms of Glaucoma, which is the reason her other eye was removed. I mistakenly went to this facility, thinking it was a 24hr emergency facility. We went in at 6pm and they close at 7pm. But everyone was nice enough to still meet with us, even though it seemed like they already had a full day scheduled (Not that everyone should expect that). We weren't regular patients or anything that would merit such special treatment, in fact this was the first time we had ever been. The whole staff stayed late just to make sure that our dogs one remaining eye was okay. And if that wasn't enough, they went one step further. I was nervous because I read a lot of reviews (about several animal hospitals) sneaking in additional fees and charging out the wazoo. But when the eyedrops our dog needed turned out to be $85, the doctor was kind enough to help us find a pharmacy that offered it for $12. And the services charged were very reasonable. No pet I have will ever go to any other veterinary office.

i found a cat that had been hit in very bad condition unsure what to do i asked around to a few friends who referred me to their 86th street location upon calling them they told me they had a westside location and gave me all the info i needed i called the speedway location to let them know i was coming and the lady at the front desk was at the door waiting for me as i pulled up they were all so nice and although the poor cat had to be put down they did everything they could to try to save him they did all of this at no cost bless their hearts for everything they did tonight will refer them every time 10/10

I've been going to Noah's for 40 years with dogs never had a problem I knew the owner they move to their new place I have for dogs took them all in for heartworm test as usual and shots they usually come to the room give them their shots take their blood no problem usually the vet though not some youngin experience little girl who don't even know where the veins are in the leg anyway so they take my little shitzu back to take blood for her which I don't know why they did that she comes back she's hurt she was limping for 2 days they take my female bully back 2 years old never had a problem with any of my dogs when they do the shots and blood in the room when I'm there evidently they was rough with her she tried to bite them they tell me they need to put her down to give her shots I said no way I'll take her somewhere else then I brought my other two dogs my 12 year old German Shepherd who's been going there for twelve years never had a problem they give him his shots take blood while I'm in the room no problem my other female two year old bully gave her shots took blood in the room with me no problem done with them their prices are sky-high ever since the move to their new place getting a new vet

After taking my dogs here for several years I asked them to check out a lump on my dogs abdomen. After charging me $200 for a checkup they refused to diagnose the issue, refused to return my phone calls, and refused to admit to any wrongdoing. If I were you I would find some place better to spend my $, especially if you care about your pet. (Update) Congratulations for responding to my years old post. I spoke with your manager and she told me never to come to Noah's again. I can provide you with the transcript that they wrote (although they did embelish a few details).

We've always taken our animals here and receive nothing but the best care we drive well I county away just to make sure that our animals come to see the vets here. There was once even back in 2002 where funds were a little low they actually took a post dated check just to make sure our dog was going to be well taken care of.

I will only go to Noah's Animal hospital in speedway going forward. Unfortunately, my cat got diagnosed with Wet FIP, a terrible heart wrenching 100% fatal disease. Dr. Steinke was the third doctor I had seen in hopes of getting a different diagnosis, but unfortunately she delivered the same news. She walked me through my options while sitting on the floor and even teared up with me when we came to the conclusion that Frank needed to be put down for the long sleep. Her and her staff cried, hugged, and talked about memories with him after he passed. I could not have asked for a better veterinarian for my very sad circumstance. Thank you Dr. Steinke for making my sad situation a little more bareable.

I will never take my dogs here again. Everytime I adopted a new dog I took it here. Luckily I've only adopted 2. Each time they never told me anything about my dog. The shelter says my dog might be pregnant so when I got to noahs I asked them about it. The vet tech said "well you came on the perfect day. We have a specialist here so I'll send her in" I NEVER SAW HER! when I finally saw a vet after an hour, they didn't address the pregnancy at all nor any of the other questions I had. Instead they gave me a list of all of their services And the prices as recommended all of them. I left with more questions than answers. Never gong back.

We love the technicians there and the girls at the front desk. But when you have a "scheduled " appointment, we are there for no less than 90 minutes each time. It's absolutely draining. There is no reason for a simple well check appt to take 90 min. It's very stressful for our dogs and us when we've scheduled other appointments around their appointments.

At first they were a little slow with what we were wanting for our dog. But they've definitely earned the five star rating from the sheer care and hospitality they've shown my dog. They're very nice to talk with and well informed about their profession. They keep things very clean and hardly any wait time to get taken care of. On another plus, complimentary coffee and water if you do wait. I don't like bringing my dog to the vet, but given i need to due to injuries my dog has received after running away I need to of course and they have taken very good care of her and are very gentle with her wounds. I would recommend Noah's to anyone.

HORRIBLE ANIMAL ER!!! Took my Rottweiler in because of an apparent injury to his front leg. We waited for2 hours before the creepy doc finally made it to our room. He waited just outside the customer door looking thru a window for us to be surprised that he was just standing there. Then because of our surprised reaction our Rotti started going nuts, to which he said let me go around to the doctor door. When he entered our dog was still not happy seeing that doctor and because of his nervousness we ultimately had to leave because there was no way our rotti was going to let him near him or us.

I adopted a puppy and the poor little guy had parvo and had to be hospitalized. They took great care of little Randy and he had a very quick recovery luckily. They were very straight forward with my options and explained everything to me. He was in there for 3 days and had a surprisingly fast recovery. I understand that we got lucky that he beat it so quickly, as parvo is typically 5-7 days, but I will say I think the great care he received sped things up immensely, and he is doing great. Thanks again for your help! I would go here again no question.

I took my cat on a Sunday without knowing anything other than a couple positive reviews and clearly dogs were well taken care of there but I noticed cat's were also welcomed so I wasn't too worried. When we got there around 9 there were others ahead which was fine I was a walk in and we were updated the entire time so A+ there but after waiting until almost 12 to finally see the veterinarian she was extremely rude and highly condescending. They charged extremely high and she was very cold towards my cat. I personally will not ever go back this was my first and last time going and if you have a cat I would put out the extra money for a place that specializes in cats because dogs are top priority here.

This place is absolutely amazing. The staff is wonderful. I took in my very sick snake to be put down due to not having money at the time to save him. Not even 10 minutes later, I got a call from Noah's asking for permission to go ahead and try to treat him instead. The only thing was that if it worked, he would be re-homed. Of course I said yes with no hesitation. I wanted my snake to live. I wanted him to have that fighting chance. This was very hard on me. I bawled my eyes out the whole time I was in there. But, the staff was very caring and very kind. My snake didn't get better with the treatment. He was too sick. So in the end, they had to put him down. But, just the fact that they tried their best to save him, warmed my heart so much. I highly recommend bringing your pets here. They are seriously very caring. Thank you all at Noah's for being so amazing!

Took my cat here that has been having some unusual swelling around her neck. The techs were all extremely helpful and willing to work with my lack of information (she was given to me by a friend). Dr. Colins was the doctor in charge of my lil lady. She was very human; which was nice, I felt like she wasn’t just going through the motions. When she felt she didn’t have a good answer to the mystery of my cats neck, she collaborated with another doctor, which I felt was very professional and big of her to not try and claim all veterinary knowledge. Facility was very nice, very clean, very calm. Ive never had an animal before so I don’t know how much other vets cost, but it seemed a little pricey, but I don’t really know...only reason I put 4/5 stars. Would definitely recommend.

I schedule an appointment at 5:30, which as is the case with most families we are very busy and we run on a time schedule with kids sports and my wife and I both coaching. We waited in the back room for a half hour which caused us to be late to practices. The Dr finally came and never apologize and spent very minimal time explaining options for our dog. Very disappointed in the services and the overall just lack of courtesy. Probably just the society we live.

Very compassionate veterinarian. Had my dog of 17 years put to rest here as our regular vet wouldn't accept us on a Saturday. The procedure was very professional and I was in the room with him during it. They only took him out of the room for the IV and brought him back for the muscle relaxant and then the euthanasia drug. Would recommend to anyone going through that rough time.

Quick, easy for emergency service. Remember emergency services are expensive. If you can get your regular vet to see them then I recommend that first. Unfortunately, your vet likely has other animals to see at the time of your emergency. That's why ERs exist.

Doctors sometimes don't call you when they said they will, did not send the xrays forward. I think the care my dog received was not the best. I had several issues. Cost ended up being way more than they first said.

I have to give one star to throw my opinion out here, but they certainly don't deserve it. My daughter took her dog, Roo, in late on a Tuesday night. Roo was scratching frantically and losing chunks of fur. She had been in about two weeks earlier and saw a different Dr, who said allergies and prescribed apoquel. After meds completed it escalated and thus the new visit. This time she saw Dr Herr. Who determined...maybe fleas (no fleas present) maybe allergies, I DON'T KNOW. Also determined she now had infection from scratching. Prescribed apoquel again and an antibiotic. The total bill was a little over $200. My daughter could pay half of the bill and her paycheck was scheduled to hit in an hour. She asked if they'd run her card in an hour. No, can't do that. So she paid half the bill and they would not dispense meds. She asked Dr Herr if she could give benadryl for itching. Dr Herr chose to IGNORE her. They sent her home with NO MEDS!! They could have dispensed enough meds to last till she got off work and could come pay the next day, BUT NO, DR HERR SENT THAT POOR LITTLE DOG HOME TO SUFFER OVERNIGHT. I checked with the VCA hospital I use and they told me she could give Roo benadryl (and didn't charge me, lol). Please bear in mind that if you chose to ignore your animal and not give her meds it would be considered neglect or abuse but Noah's/Dr Herr can choose to make your dog suffer, because of greed, and that is ok. I was outraged and called to complain, receptionist (Brittney, only nice person there) said manager would call me Wednesday. I waited two days, no call. Called corporate, they didn't want to hear it and told me to call the facility! Really?!?? So I stated we would file with BBB and she cheerfully said ok. So don't go to Noah's if you want caring and compassionate service.

After being a loyal Noah’s client for 7 years, referring friends, coworkers and family, as well as being a former employee, it makes me sad and a little sick to be writing this review. While out walking my 2 dogs today, we were attacked by 2 other dogs. My younger dog, Angus, fought them off and suffered lacerations and punctures to his legs and neck. After waiting for officers, filing reports with police and animal control, I rushed my dog to the nearest emergency vet as it was 6pm and a full hour after the attack. We walked into Noah’s Westside with my poor dog openly bleeding on their floors and visible blood on my clothing. While being checked in, I overheard a staff member answer the phone for someone whose pet was experiencing some kind of medical emergency. We were then ushered back and were placed in a waiting room. A tech came in within minutes and took his vitals. We were told the veterinarian would be in shortly. An hour went by and no one bothered to check on us. By then, Angus was shaking in pain and having trouble standing. I found the tech and calmly asked why no one had been in. I was informed of a situation involving a “critical patient” and told they would be with us shortly. While we waited, I called Companion VCA in Carmel and was told we could be seen there. I still held out for another 25 minutes (as Companion was quite a distance away for us and I wanted Angus to be seen ASAP) before I picked up my 60 lb bleeding and lethargic dog and carried him out of Noah’s Westside. I went to Companion VCA and he was given pain meds within 10 minutes of our arrival. The vet there was quick to examine his wounds and get him back to be treated. While I understand a “critical emergency” takes precedence over many conditions, I am saddened and sickened by the fact that Noah’s so clearly disregarded my dog’s suffering- it only takes a moment to administer pain meds and we arrived prior to the person whose pet was experiencing that medical emergency. Between the time we were placed in the waiting room and moments later when this unfortunate family arrived, again, my dog could’ve been given pain medication. I received a phone call of apology from Noah’s 2 hours after we left. It clearly took them some time to notice our departure. I will never bring my dogs or cat to another Noah’s and am making it a point to tell all of my friends, family and coworkers how this situation was handled by their staff. I understand that every veterinarian practice is a business but Noah’s Westside made it extremely clear that that is all that they are about.

I took a kitten there that was found in the woods and it's Mother had died. I was taking full responsibility for all medical expenses. They refused to help me and the kitten died overnight. This was a Sunday so there were limited places open. Compassionate? Not even close.

We had been going to Noah's for almost 20 years. We had a bad experience with our almost 14 year old rat terrier and have now changed vets. Reggie developed an illness back in December 2017, it took Noah's almost a month to let us know that it was Adenocarcinoma, they removed the tumor, but the cancer had spread to other parts of his body. We feel like they wasted precious time -- they said that it was because the doctor who ordered the test worked at the Northside Noah's and no one knew that the results had come back. They have since corrected this issue. Noah's in Speedway has lost its personal touch. They got too big too fast -- They are wonderful for emergencies but not for regular checkups.

I'm really disgusted with this place. My dog went there due to a neck injury and they were the closest emergency vet. The first doctor we saw there was incredibly rude to me, but was caring to my pet. The second doctor we saw, and the one we continued to see throughout the duration of his recovery, was wonderful. I trusted her enough to schedule my pup to be neutered. I was going to take him to a low-cost facility because they charge 1/4 of the cost at Noah's. The vet felt, however, that with the severity of his prior neck injury, he should be neutered at Noah's by her because she was familiar with his injury. I agreed and called on 9/8/2016 to schedule him. The girl I spoke with sounded like she didn't know what she was doing and put me on hold several times to ask questions of other staff. In total, I was on the phone almost 20 minutes to schedule this. Finally, it was scheduled for 9/23/2016. My ex went to drop him off this morning and SURPRISE! They didn't have him on the schedule. This was their error yet they made no attempt to make things right. Couldn't work him in because their schedule was packed. We rearranged both work schedule to take him in and plans for the weekend to keep an eye on him and for nothing! I was asked if I received a reminder call but here's another error. No matter how many times I've given them my cell phone number, they still have the wrong contact number listed in my dog's chart, so I have no idea if a reminder call was made. I will not go back. His neck is healed and I will take him to the low cost facility because at this point, I seriously doubt any different care will be taken at Noah's that won't be taken at the low cost facility.

Front desk staff were very kind and understanding to my needs when i brought my cat in to attempt to administer benadryl for our long car ride to Idaho. It wasn't too busy so i was taken care of right away! Very clean and high-end atmosphere. Would highly recommend.

Noah's has been extremely helpful to me and my pup. We first used them when we had a pet emergency and I felt like they put me at ease and truly knew what they were talking about. I didn't feel oversold something my pup didn't need. We have since gone back for other things and always feel great when leaving.

If I could rate this clinic a zero I would, I live In Texas, when I come to Indianapolis I bring my puppy with me and last year I boarded my Bichion Frise at this Clinic and was treated very cold and rude, however my husband and I said well everyone has a bad day. So this year I went back to this same place and the treatment was even worse, while the clerk was scanning in our dogs records, my husband wanted to pay for the leash that he was buying and ask another clerk at the desk if she would check him out and she was very rude and said “stick with the one who is checking you in” so he went to another one and she said very condescending “yes sure” so when my husband ask what was the problem and I spoke up and said each time we have been here we have been treated very rudely and the women ask if we wanted to see the manger I stated yes. He come out and accused me of being condescending before I could complete my sentence. I can see why the clerks are rude, I can see who the leader is !!! He never had any intention of resolving any issues, all he offered was defense of his staff. I believe that they are prejudice don’t like blacks and I say that with no joy because I try to be very open minded however I can’t figure out any other reasons. Why would any business treat paying customers like this whom they don’t know and have no reason to do so? This was the second time and the last time. I will never step foot into that building again and tell everyone I know about my experience!!!! TERRIBLE , STAFF and Management!

Front & back office Staff is very nice. Good luck speaking with a doctor. It's a long wait in person & couldn't get a call back. But, to their credit... it's a very busy place. About 15-20% higher prices than average vet office.

The nurses were super awesome with my dog when I brought him in, they didn't get mad that he kept puking. Once they got the total figured out, and I told the nurse no I'll just treat my dog at home cuz they was trying to charge almost 3 grand, The doc came in with a pissed off look and made me feel very uneasy.

Went in Saturday morning for my puppies shots noone was in the waiting room three staff around,don't understand why i had to made an appointment just for 10 mins of there time to give my dog it's shots,and on top of that,not Mon Tues or weds but till Thurs,damn.So I went in thurs for my dogs appointment at 1030 I got there on time and they saw him right away.

We had a reservation for our dog to stay at Noah's for 2 weeks and when we arrived to drop off our dog they told us they overbooked. This was the night before were leaving, are you kidding me you Noah's couldn't puck up the phone and call us. We will never use you again and everyone should know how unreliable you are.

The girls working the counter was very nice however the vet was rude and basically wanted $2000 plus to save my dog or $229 to kill her so what options does someone have most people dont have $2000 ! Came in while we were grieving cause we had to put our baby down after 8 years of being a faithful family member ! We need the payment now so we can prep the euthanasia! Like we were gonna let them put our dog down then run out the door! To most people pets are not pets they are your family, best friend, companion and people need time to grasp the concept that thier best friend is going to die but no we will put our sadness on hold here is my credit card knock yourself out!! greedy overpriced and pushy go somewhere else

My doggie of 10 years was really sick and I was looking for straight answers.Dr. P gave me those answers and although the news was not good the docs professionalism and bed-side manner were amazing.
