One year ago the woman vet, not sure her name, said my cat had a cancerous tumor in his mouth but she never hands on examined him. He disserved more respect then that. He was 19. So I took him to my Hero vet, Dr. Kerley, and my cat son was given the love and care I demand for my animals. Anthony Animal Clinic, the place to go for what YOUR wishes are.

A visit to New Haven Pet Hospital is a pleasant & even fun experience from start to finish. The care is excellent & the staff is always friendly & legitimately care about your pet. Dr. Eisenhower in particular is an absolute dream. I would not even consider taking my dog anywhere else. If I have any complaint, it would be that they do not treat exotics, requiring me to have to take parrot to another vet. I very much wish I could take her to NHPH as well.

After my regular vet refused to find the time to see my 10 year old miniature Dachshund that had developed a goose egg size tumor like growth on her right hind leg over the weekend that left her vomiting and unable to walk, the compassionate staff at New Haven Veterinary Clinic found the time to squeeze me in between other appointments even though they only had 1 doctor on staff that day. Best Vet ever. Have had several dogs treated here. One after being "treated" by another vet that traumatized him very badly by using a noose to drag him from room to room. They are compassionate, hugged us when we had to let him go. Helped to health another that we thought we would have to let down. She is doing great and we are expecting another couple of years with her. Staff is friendly. Drs are amazing!

The veterinarians are very knowledgeable and helpful and spend a lot of time with you taking to you about anything you want to know. It is easy to get an appointment. They send reminder cards when your pet needs a vaccination. You can register your pet with the city there. The prices are reasonable. They accept CareCredit and have payment plans for surgeries and tests. You can buy food, collars, leashes, treats, shampoo, and Adaptil products. The staff is very friendly.

The doctors and assistants make sure you understand what they expect you to do for your pet by explaining your pets situation and by asking questions of what your comfortable doing and of what you do or don't understand. After losing 1 of my seniors the end of January and another critically ill with no REAL or satisfactory answers, I returned to New Haven and I now have optimism and hope that my 13 year old Chi is gonna recover. The Dr.’s listen, they are incredibly thorough in their assessments, and are quick to connect the dots and come up with a plan of action. Thank you and a shout out to Dr.’s Eisenhauer and Patrick. And the techs as well as Dr.s that I have dealt with on my return are pleasant, knowledgable and exhibit a genuine sense of compassion.

For a very long time i took my dog to NHPH. The last time I tried to make an appointment they said they now have "conditions" before they will help a sick dog. I guess they would let her die. These are not my kind of people. She has a new vet, now. ANYONE, can be replaced.

I hadnt brought any pets to New Haven Pet Hospital before, but when my dog Ruxin was experiencing leg pain, I needed to get him looked at fast. I called at 8 a.m. and was scheduled that same afternoon. Karli helped me check in, and with an online form, there wasn't anything I had to do. Karli was great with my dog, and despite his leg, he was overall relaxed. Dr. Kyle Krish was fantastic. He was able to figure out it was just a loose knee cap, and he also explained all of the possible issues I might run across in the future. Other than the medicine, exam and trimming his nails after I expressed concern, they didnt try to sell me any unnecessary add ons. Very professional and caring and I'll definitely come back.

This was my first visit at the pet hospital. My appointment was for 9:30am and I arrived 5 minutes late. After being taken back to the room the vet did not arrive until 10:30am ( which made it a little difficult with my two young daughters). But other than the wait time, the staff is friendly, Dr. McKaig is very kind, knowledgeable and helpful, and the hospital is clean. I will be returning.
