Paul and his staff have taken care of my animals for as long as I can remember. He has helped me with dogs, cats, turkeys, goats and a miniature donkey that thought he was a dog. They have always provided great care without making me feel like I was being financially wrung out. I can't imagine not having Dr. Shockley taking care of my animals. Eric Dwiggins

Jo my gsd was feeling horrible. Couldnt walk. Quit eating and feeding her 5 wk pups. My old vet didnt have time for us. I called dr shocley office where the outstanding staff got me in same day. The doc spent time with me and my dog and the next day jo was playing ball and all was right. I have 11 gsd and now there vet is dr shockley and his fine crew. Thanks guys

I just want Everyone to know Dr. Shockley and the ladies saved my kitty's life. She was poisoned by flea medicine for dogs that I was told you could put on Cats. I had her there Tuesday morning at 750 am AN ladies told me to come in..she had already had 2 seizures at home .very violent tremors....I will Never Take my pets anyplace else..I LOVE these guys for being so kind AN caring. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!!

This clinic takes care of all of my parents animals large and small. He has always been great. Took my dog to another clinic where in contracted parvo while in their care. Dr. Shockley knew right off what was wrong. He was hospitalized for 3.5 days with them. I called 2x per day and my mother went up a few times to check on our dog. The staff never acted as though we was bothering them or anything. My pup is now home and back to his old self. The bill was very reasonable as well. I will never go anywhere else. THIS PLACE IS AMAZING! Thanks Dr. Shockley and staff for taking such great care of my boy!!!!!

I have always had the best experience here. From small animals to large he is by far the best. He is very honest with any of your questions/concerns. My dog was involved in a vehicle hit and run. My poor boy's eye was popped out of place and was a bloody mess with bad odor and such. He had to be taken to the closet vet around me which at that time only VCA was open. I had horrible experience there not to mention they charge outrageous! The following morning I transferred my boy to Dr. Shockley. And he checked him out and confirmed he could do the eye removal surgery and for me to pick him up the next morning. (VCA was going to charge me $1200 starting out just to remove the eye not including meds etc.) Shockely did an amazing job and when my boy came out he was so happy and back to normal as I did not expect at all!! Shockey only charged me $503.50. Surgery was $450 (cheaper than anywhere I had called to make sure) $25 for the exam (because he hadn't been seen by shockely before) $12 for bordetella shot and $16.50 for DHLPP shot. He also sent me home with pain and antibiotics that were included In the surgery cost! I was beyond amazed! Not to mention he did amazing taking the stitches out (again also included in the fee I paid) also I had to take my boy in for a 3rd time for unexpected constipation and shockely did an internal exam and didnt charge me for that either considering it might have been from the accident. My boy had this surgery in November and hes been back to normal since the day I picked him up!! Highly recommend!!

We had used Dr. Shockley for our farm animals and family pets for over 10 years. We had to relocate to Alabama. and sure do miss him for our dog. He even came to my house on a weekend when my Border Collie was having sudden seizures and passing away. I really appreciated his help at such a difficult time. Paul is an awesome vet that never tried to upsell us on things our pet didn’t need. If you want a chatty vet, don’t look here. If you want a caring, intelligent vet that keeps his service affordable, this is your place.

Do not take a small pet to this vet. He ruined our kitten. He may be a horse or large animal vet. But he is not a small animal DR. We found a kitten. So, we took kitty to him to have spayed. MY CAT HAS NOT BEEN RIGHT SINCE!! We took her back. He said she had a bad infection. Gave us antibiotics. Dr Shockley has a terrible bed side manner. He acts as if your bothering him. Now we are going to another vet for the fourth time. I am so angry at DR. Shockley. I was not impressed. And I will never take any animal back. Also, the women in the front will totally ignore you while they are looking at the phones and posting crap on Facebook while you are standing there. The one female acts as if she had crap for breakfast and its all she can do to deal with you. I will never be back. Stay away.

I just love Dr Shockley! He’s so kind and sweet to the animals and really cares about their well being. He’s very reasonably priced for the services he offers as well as he does excellent, thorough work. The staff is awesome too. I like that the doctor set and talk to me but he was kind of rough on my cat he's got neck problems and he really moved him around I don't think he should have been so rough but maybe he had a reason I don't knowhe bent it back clear to his back he's not acted right since it's sad he needs T L C

We have presently a female SHIH TZU dog. She is now four years old, approximately 10 pounds. Small frame. Doctor Shockley has the compassion and customer understanding toward the job as professional veterinarian doctor. He does surgery and prevention care. Staff very friendly , and professional. They take the time to respect the customers wishes. He will try if possible to save your pet

Tried to get our baby into our regular veterinarian half an hour before closing time on Friday which was noon and they said they couldn't take the time to see her. She had something in her eye which was bothering her. Called Middletown Hospital and the doctor was on a house call and said he would look at her when he got back. Took her over there everybody seems super nice and very knowledgeable think we're going to start going there as regulars!!!
