My boy and I had a horrible experience at another vet. Some serious complications had arised and a second surgery had been presented. We weren't happy with the situation or the options and ventured for the first time to Meridian. They took great care of him immediately!! The staff and Dr. Udrasols are extremely professional and you can tell they genuinely care. Prices are a little high, but you really do pay for what you get and this place is worth every penny!! Very happy all around and so is my pup.

Disappointed. I came here because of all the positive reviews on Google. I was disappointed and will not return. From the moment I walked into the door I felt very unwelcome by the reception staff and like I was a number...although I was the only one in the waiting room. Staff at reception was very abrupt, unfriendly and rude. I felt rushed during the entire time with the vet and the staff as if they were in a HUGE hurry and again, like I was a number. The vet cut too deeply on one of my dog’s nails during his nail clipping and made my dog’s paw bleed. As a result, my dog started screaming so I made the vet quit. The vet acted like it was no big deal, but when you make my dog bleed and scream, I will be VERY upset. The only positive thing about coming here was that the assistant was very nice and gentle with my dog-- and the vet was also gentle with everything except the clipped nails. I will not return. I was hoping for a friendly place where I felt welcomed and not rushed to get in and out. At this place the reception staff was rude, my poor little dog had a bleeding paw and I felt rushed .....even though I was the only one in the waiting room at the time. It was a combination of all these things that made my visit unpleasant. Won't return.

Love the staff, they are so friendly and knowledgeable. They make sure to walk you through the procedure, both before and during, and are very clear about service costs. Costs are very reasonable and comparable to other clinics I've been to. Highest recommendations to the Meridian Clinic! Update: I am very happy with a recent experience with this clinic. I noticed some redness and doscudisc around my cat's eye. I walked in to see if they could diagnose what was wrong based on a picture and they did! The doctor was very kind and did not want to stress out my pet by bringing him in. He prescribed drops and they cleared up the conjunctivis without any trouble! Just another great example of the great service they provide.

Went to this vet because it’s closest to my house. Went for a new puppy exam. The vet walked in and looked at my dog for literally 3 mins and said she was fine. I asked, “Uhhhh can you check her ears?” She had eyeballed the outer ear canal and said “Yep, they look good”. Now what I SHOULD have said, “You know there’s these things that you can use to actually look inside the ear canal? You know, where dogs actually get infections? It’s called an otoscope, you should try it”. But I didn’t say anything and I regret it now. I paid about 90$ for a “comprehensive” puppy exam. I’ll take my money somewhere that actually cares about the well-being of animals.

I can’t begin to express how happy and in love I am with this office. The service was unlike any I’ve received my 4 month old miniature schnauzer was comfortable my 2 year old anxious heeler mix was always our consider as we adopted her from a shelter in New York and has always been on edge. Dr Valerie was a pleasure and the assistants and vet techs that handled both of our dogs were literally dog whisperers!!! They were able to clip our heeler‘s nails like it was nothin! We were so impressed !!! The care and the knowledge they share when reviewing the dog and tests/ recommendations was absolutely the best!! We are always coming back!!

Amazing service, low wait times, high availability, and great price. I was recommended to come to this clinic by my insurance company because I had not taken my cat to the vet in several years. I called and they quoted me at a great price, so I set an appointment. However, upon finishing my appointment, the price was half of what they quoted me on! This is because upon arrival, the diagnosis did not include everything from the quote since it was unnecessary to have done. They gave only exactly what my cat needed, which were a few shots and a quick checkup, and nothing else. That being said, if I had wanted to get some extra examinations done, they would have been more than happy to do so. Otherwise, the staff was extremely friendly and handled my cat exceptionally well. I will definitely be returning.

Just returned from our first visit at Meridian Veterinary Clinic, and was extremely impressed with the level of care given to our two dogs by Dr. Shelby Puterbaugh! She went above and beyond with our two dogs, and even offered great advice on how to help both dogs transition with our new baby coming in August. So glad we found an amazing vet right here in Greenwood!

My 12 year old Sheltie mix was in need of a dental cleaning. My current vet quoted me a potential cost of $350 to as much as $700. Since that seemed outrageous, I was shopping around at other offices when I came upon Meridian's website. I used their site to inquire about costs and had an answer of approximately $325.00 by the next morning. None of the other vets I contacted had answered as promptly. I looked at some reviews and the photo tour they had online and decided to give them a try. The day of the cleaning, I was nervous about my dog's age and familiarity with the clinic, but everything went great. The girl upfront took good care of him, even picking him up to take him back instead of pulling his leash. They were done exactly when they said they would be and even let him come home early. I was given clear instructions and when they brought him out, again they carried him gently and fussed over how well he did. Not only that, but the cost was even lower than their quote by $100. I will definitely be using Meridian Vet clinic for my future needs.

Had been bringing our cat here for a few years and had recently started taking our new dog here. Our cat was having issues and they'd asked for a stool sample. My boyfriend and I were in a rush trying to leave and he must not have grabbed the perfect sample because we could hear the staff talking and giggling about it and us outside of the door to our exam room. Left feeling extremely embarrassed. Giving three stars because there are truly good vets that we've had at our time using Meridian, but we've since switched to a different vet.

This was my first and last time visiting this Veterinary Clinic. I got to my appointment 10 mins early to fill out paper work, I was taken to a room where I sat for 15 min, the Dr came in listened to my dogs heart and said she is fine. Dr was in the room less than 3 mins, I then waited an additional 15 mins and finally went to the fro t desk. Where They attempted to bill me for an x-ray that didn’t happen and gave me medicine with another dogs information. I definitely would not take my animal back to this place!

My mother took her dog here to get put to sleep. After taking her dog into the back room, they proceeded to shave her leg to give her an IV. (First I've ever heard giving a dog an IV to euthanize). Well, they took her back into a room with another bigger dog and that made my mothers nervous. Instead of taking her into another room or giving her something for anxiety they continued to try and get this IV in while she is shaking and pulling away. After 25 minutes, and a whole lot of shaking and crying along with blood all over her dog, they finally bring her back out. They take my mother back with her dog only to then give her something for anxiety and pain. (Little late). Long story short, she took her dog her to be tortured for 25 minutes, and then put to sleep. This is awful care in my book.

This is the second time I've tried to make an appointment with Meridian Vet with little success. The first time a couple months ago I was told that they were busy but if I wanted to pay a more they'd work me in. When I got to the clinic they was only one person waiting for service. I guess I define busy differently. Today I called them because I think my dog has a urinary track infection. The lady on the phone said they couldn't take her until next Thursday (6 days). I explained to her that it was my understanding that urinary tract infections were relatively serious in dogs only to get sorry, we're to busy. Something has changed with this vet clinic since they've gone to their new location, not sure what but after almost 20 years I'm going to have to find a new Vet.
