I’m overdue on this review. This animal clinic is the best I’ve ever experienced! My Littles (kitty) was having gastrointestinal issues & the vet I had seen said she needed to see a specialist. Specialists being very pricey & none close by, I called here as a last resort (referred by a friend) to inquire if they could help. Not only did they have more testing capabilities, but the Drs went above & beyond to try everything for my baby girl. They even called & collaborated w/ specialists behind the scenes. Dr Wise was able to get my girl back on track & happy & healthy again. They tried so many things & assured me they’d do what they could for her until we found the right combination of treatments. I didn’t need to see a specialist. My girl was so well taken care of & attended to. The staff always so kind, caring & gentle w/ her even on her bad days. & the staff was always so sweet and helpful from the front desk to vet techs to the Drs till you leave. You don’t need an appointment and every time I’ve walked in, they’ve gotten me in very quickly. Unfortunately, I went on vacation and my girl was unable to get her meds and treatments and when I came back home, she was dehydrated and in bad shape. I brought her in and (unbeknownst to me) my last few hours with her were in this clinic. Dr Wise and staff again did everything they could for her from tests to calling around to different specialists and getting information and further help on what could have been wrong and how to save her. They were so sweet and kind to her at this time and so very accommodating to me. They let me in the back to spend as much time with her as I needed when she was in critical condition and before we even knew she wouldn’t make it. I can vouch that behind the scenes, they are very hardworking and very kind with all the animals brought in. I held my girl for hours while they attempted to rehydrate her, get her body temperature up and treat her and while they called around for additional opinions and got test results back. I’m so very grateful for that time they let me spend with her. No amount of words could articulate how much that meant to me. When my girl wasn’t responding and I realized it was better to let her go than to keep prolonging her struggle, I asked Dr wise what she would do. She was very professional and sympathetic in her response. When I decided to let her go, they put me in a private room and gave me as long as I needed with her to say my goodbyes and did what they could to keep her comfortable while I spend my time in private with her. This was a very traumatic experience for me as my girl meant so very much to me. They did everything they could and so kindly and sympathetically. Explained everything and answered all of my questions. Further, they set up everything for her to be cremated and for me to get her ashes back along with the sweetest imprint of her paws. I will cherish that so very much! They set up everything and I didn’t have to worry about anything but mourning for my lil girl. I got her ashes and paw imprints delivered a few days following. One of the kindest and most touching things about this animal hospital is the final detail (along with how sweet and caring they really were to my baby girl and I). I received in the mail, the sweetest card with personal messages from Dr Wise and the staff. Such kind, thoughtful messages. What’s even better, the card had a heart shaped seedling. Plant it and it blooms. That is the sweetest and most thoughtful touch. I truly feel like every person at this clinic truly cares and puts their heart and soul into every animal that comes through their doors. I’m so thankful for them! Dr Wise I especially can’t thank enough for her kindness to me, thoughtfulness & love she showed me & my lil girl. I’m forever grateful & indebted to you & your staff. I hope you know that you guys are making a difference in the world. Thank you! I couldn’t recommends this clinic enough! Please take your pets here! They will be shown so much gentleness, thoroughness & kindness!

I am unsure why google will not let the staff or the animals hospital rebute bad reviews, but as an employee of Lowell Animal Hospital, I'm reading though a few reviews and some are 100% inaccurate. We at Lowell provide the best veterinary care possible. I know this because I would not have left my job to come work here. Im shocked that there are any bad reviews since I know the doctors and staff do everything possible to rectify bad situations and assist in every measure. It pains me that we cannot respond to google.

Who expects a veterinarian's office to be open on a Sunday? Certainly not me. I walked in registered and waited less than 5 minutes before being called in. The staff is delightfully friendly and very personable. It's not our regular doctor but when my Yorkie started limping, I couldn't wait for Monday. We we're in and out in less than 30 minutes. Fees were more than reasonable especially for a Sunday.

Really nice new facility staffed with caring and knowledgeable staff. I took our dog there late on a Saturday afternoon because they were the only place open and no appointment was necessary. Just walk in! Dr. Wise was terrific and got our dog on her way to recovery from an ailment she's had for a very long time. Definitely worth the trip from DeMotte.

I thought I was doing a bit much trying to bring my dog in with my 2 year old daughter, but while I was struggling, an angel appeared to take my dog off my hands while I dealt with changing my toddler's diaper! My dog was promptly examined, got his issues addressed and I even got a really nice follow up call! They are totally worth the 3 hour round trip drive!

I travel 55 minutes each way to see Dr. Wise and her staff at Lowell. Why? Because even though there are plenty of vets with good reviews in my area (south suburbs of Chicago), NONE of them provide the level of honest and compassionate care that Lowell Animal Clinic does. NONE. Dr. Wise was the only vet that was able to correctly diagnose my dog Lucy's GI issue (after seeing three other vets!) She was able to get Lucy stable, and then referred us to Purdue where Lucy received further testing. She is doing great now, and is back under the supervisory care of Dr. Wise. It's like having our old Lucy back-she is energetic, playful, and most importantly she is eating again! My husband and I are beyond grateful for Dr. Wise, Dr. Clubine, Kourtney, and the rest of the amazing staff at Lowell. I am a nurse and I know all about what it takes as a team to provide the best possible care. Trust me when I say that your pet is in the most capable of hands at Lowell Animal Clinic. And I do not understand some of the poorer reviews here on Google. Sometimes we do not know exactly what ails our pets. We think we have an idea, but we must rely on the professionals to determine the care that our fur babies need. When people get sick, they search Google for symptoms and (often times) medically misguided or inappropriate methods of treatment. That isn't always the right way to go about things, but it happens. Sure, it might work for the common cold. But some diseases and illnesses need professional treatment. And just like if you were to be admitted to the hospital with a communicable disease or illness that could potentially affect other patients, the doctor is going to make the best decision for your care and treat you and/or medicate you so that 1) your treatment and road to recovery starts RIGHT away and 2) you do not transmit your disease/illness to others. Animals are the same. You see the veterinarian for a reason- because your pet needs treatment, whether it is for a disease/illness or surgery. Dr. Wise and her staff are going to do what they think is right for your pet's health. Veterinary treatment is going to cost money. As I previously stated, Lowell Animal Clinic is fair and honest. Much, much more so than most of the clinics and hospitals that you will find anywhere.
