Dr. Keeker is an old-school vet with affordable prices, a small, family like facility, and just a really nice guy. He offered me his personal cellphone number on my first visit so many years ago. I used to drive our dogs up to Lafayette for the pricing up there, and now I won't go anywhere else.

We have used them on multiple occasions and been consistently pleased. The rates are comparitvly low and the care has been fine. Friendly staff. Our first dog was a beagle/jack Russell mix was a handful and they were very understanding.

Best vet experience I've ever had. A friend found a dog that had been hit by a car and suffered a broken leg and hip. After hours of research and calling different vets, someone recommended Dr. Keeker. He got us in immediately, took X-rays and explained the injury and the surgery needed to correct it. The next day, jax went into surgery. As any animal lover can relate to, I was hesitant and worried since it was my first experience with a new vet and it was an extensive surgery on top of that. Dr. Keeker called me immediately after the surgery with good news. They offered to watch him over the weekend At the clinic to keep a close eye on him. 6 weeks later, jax went in for his second surgery to remove the rod and to be neutered. His leg was not fully healed so the rod was not removed for another 6 weeks. Now we are on the 15th week and jax is completely cleared. He is able to walk, run, play, and do tricks which is a miracle in itself. Dr. Keeker not only provided top knowledge and skill with his surgery, he and his assistant were great with their genuine communication and availability, not to mention their affordable pricing. Thank you so much Dr. Keeker and Michelle, you guys gave jax another shot at life.

Archer broke his femur on Sunday we waited till Monday morning to bring him to our regular vet who told us they couldn't do anything for him we searched around diligently for hours trying to find someone who could fix it we finally were recommended to go to Dr Keeker who could get the job done at a reasonable cost and do the surgery that day other places we talked to were booked out 2 to 3 weeks. It's really a blessing that Dr Keeker runs his business the way he does. Treating emergencies like archers broken leg with care and urgency.

I have been going there for over a year and have had no issues. I am not extra sensitive so most of the stuff other people are complaining about aren't issues in my book lol. I am also black (As if that truly makes a difference) and have had no situations of them being racist at all. The doc knows his stuff and it priced very well for a private vet. Obviously, if you want to get cheaper prices then you can go to the income-based places, but outside of that this place has some of the best prices.

My wife and I absolutely adore Dr. Keeker and his staff. They have always taken the time to explain things, discuss options and they are very knowledgeable. They are very friendly and easy to work with. The first time we took our dog there you could tell they love pets. We have a Berniedoodle and she LOVES to see the staff there. She recently went through a major surgery and Dr. Keeker and his staff took care of her and she made a full recovery! He is very fair in his pricing and his focus foremost is taking care of your pet. We'll always take our dog to Dr. Keeker! It was a great recommendation from a friend of ours. We travel 20 miles out of our way to have Dr. Keeker and his staff care for our dog! They have always taken great care of my pets. We first went there when we had an emergency because one of our cats have been injured. Dr. Keeker was very professional and sympathetic with helping us with our cat. Since that time, we have continued to take our animals to him. His prices are extremely reasonable. I have been to other vets where I feel like they are trying to take me for all they can. But I never feel that way here. I've never had to wait long to get my pet seen. I just recently took one of our cats who had been acting sick and injured to him, and after a couple appointments she's as good as new playing with the other cats. I would highly recommend this facility.

I've been taking my dogs to Dr. Keeker and Michelle for years. My boxers love them both and their rates are very reasonable. One was hit by a car and paralyzed from the waist down almost 5 years ago. He now walks and gets around on his own for the most part. I never though he'd walk again at all, so thank you Doc and Michelle!! And a special thanks to Michelle for holding my 13 year old girl Kaya and crying with me when I had to put her to sleep a couple of weeks ago. Love, love, love you both!!

We wouldn't go anywhere else! From the outside, this is not a glamorous place. The love and excellent care that our pets have received over the years, however, is of high value. Dr. Keeker is knowledgeable, straight-forward and caring. We've taken an older pup that had many medical problems and always left feeling equipped with knowledge to tackle the next steps in her journey. She felt safe at Lafayette Road Veterinary Hospital and we felt comfortable having them care for her. Now we have a puppy who loves her doctor visits. It takes a village to raise this high-energy pup and I'm glad Dr. Keeker and Co. are the ones helping us. They love on her and seem to appreciate getting to be the ones that treat her and watch her grow. Additionally, Lafayette Road Veterinary Hospital has always been affordable. To me, that shows that their priority is the health and wellness of our pets. Like most, we've gone through ups and downs financially, but can always afford our vet visits.

Dr. Keeker and his Vet assistant Michelle make a great team. My MJ was spayed yesterday (Tuesday) and they are closed on Wednesdays Dr. Keeker made sure i knew that if i needed him even if they were closed he is just a phone call away. He made sure that i was aware of everything that was going on after MJ spayed and was in wonderful communication with me throughout the day. Dr. Keeker also sees our other 2 dogs Cujo and Hailey. Cujo has skin issues as Pits generally do, Dr. Keeker is very knowledgeable and we now have Cujo on a wonderful medication and he is doing amazing! Hailey has aggression issues from being in a previous abusive home and Dr. Keeker has gone above and beyond to help us help her. He has recommended an amazing trainer which Hailey sees once a week. I trust Dr. Keeker and Michelle with my furbabies who are like children to me. They are always available to answer all of my questions and concerns and never make me feel as if i am bothering them. You can honestly tell Dr. Keeker and Michelle truly love your animals like their own. I HIGHLY recommend this great team!

If you are an Old Cat Lady who is trying to keep your cats alive and going don't go to this place-Even Feral Cats because people are abandoning their cats now--They are in their own little world, Grumpy, Mean, Condescending, The last cat I brought in didn't receive any Compassion and I didn't either, They need to step out of ltheir world and see what true animal hOspital treats their animals--This place is a WAste of Time and Money--and I have been going their for 20 years-and this last 3 years it really has gone down Hill.....Stay Away--He may be a good surgeon and good with some dogs--but don't waster Your money.

My dog Spats was hit by a car this past Friday night and I had to take him to Indy Vet because there is no 24/7 care in Bloomington Indiana! Indy vet wanted to charge me 4-7thousand dollars to fix my dogs broken leg and they wanted the money upfront! I googled orthopedic surgeons in Indy and Dr. Keeker came up and I called. He immediately told me to get my dog from Indy Vet, to meet him at his office, and he gave me his personal cell number, and didn’t have one concern of payment. He took my dog in without question, did my dogs surgery, and Spats is now home with me! He is an angel and I will continue to drive an hour and half to have him take care of my dog! He isn’t about the money he’s about the care of your animal! I highly recommend him. Thank you, Dr from the bottom of my heart!

We had to go here instead of the airport animal hospital that didn't open till 6 & I'm so happy we did! We called & the doctor kindly stayed open for us. My pom had gotten into a fight w a bigger dog & had a huge gash in his leg, we knew he needed stitches & I worried about the $$$. I was distraught but Dr. Keeker was very kind & reassuring. Not to mention the price was very reasonable! My family & friends will be sure to bring our business here from now on.

I don't know of any other veterinarian anywhere that gives his clients his personal cell phone number. Do you? As far as prices, you'll find them at least 1/2 of what you have been paying at your spa-like clinics. Affordable, Caring, and Effiicient. If you want your furbabies to have the best check in to the Lafayette Road Veterinary Hospital!

When I called the facility, the person answering the phone did not seem enthusiastic. I took my dog in the following day and had an okay experience. My dog was suppose to be bathed and get his nails cut. The person who I dealt with in-person said she would call me around 2pm to pick my dog up. At 3:30pm, I went and picked my dog up (never received a call). They had not cut his nails and tried to do it while I was there. My dog smelled okay until I got him in the car (an enclosed area). Needless to say, "HE STANK"!! His nails were not cut and it l noticed white flakes on his back, similar to dry shampoo residue. They charged by his weight, so I paid $36.00. If he weighed 4 pounds more I would have paid $42.00. Then I found out that most vets do not charge that much for a shampoo. Never again!!!

Milla the millz or whateva you call yo self...You are WRONG and should be very embaressed and ashamed of your self. I am a very PROUD BLACK WOMAN and not once have I been disrespected or treated differently. Anytime I have needed Dr. Keeker he has responded promptly and is very Empathetic. I am also a single mother with a special needs child and because of this Doctor and his staff my daughter was able to keep her emotional support dog. To throw around the word racist, so freely in todays world , is disgusting. I have been going here for years!!!!! I have worked with all types of doctors for more than 9years. I know what a good doctor is made of. Dr. Keeker and his staff are a BLESSING and our whole entire family is thankful for him.
