There isn't really anything they could have done better, a last minute decision that the vet visit just couldn't wait through the weekend, they had the latest hours of all the clinics bear me and I decided to call.. they had one spot.. but I'd need to come right away.. thinking something way worse I was given some pretty enlightening info about my pup and was given a medication that literally the same day improved his quality of life.. I was so pleased that it could be so simple.. and that they were available same day.. sincerely so happy with my visit!

I recently adopted a 7 week old kitten. I took her to Hamilton Crossing, and I was scared for my kitten because she came from not so good conditions. But they were so loving to her, and took great care of her, even when she climbed on their backs and wouldn't sit still. They were informative of what was going on, and when they discovered ear mites, and they came back and showed me what they looked like and what they did to help get rid of them, and what I could do to help keep them away. Later that day I had to drop off the fecal sample to them, and they asked how my kitten was doing. Later that evening I received a phone call about her fecal sample, and that it was normal. The following day, I got a call from them, once again checking to see how my kitten was doing. This was highly impressive to me, I've never received that kind of care with my other pets at different vet offices. The staff seem very caring and wanting to do what's best for the animals.

I called and left a message for Dr.Frazer about our Cocker/Poodle mix.He (Erni) was in serious pain with a disc problem in his neck and medication was not helping.We were referred to the Michigan Rd. Animal Hospital by some friends.I remembered that Dr.Frazer used to work there so I called only to find he started his own practice.He was a friend of mine back in Jr. High School and I was hoping to get some advice in this difficult time.I was not looking for a discount but wanted to ask him to evaluate our dog and see if he could do surgery if needed. Dr.Frazer did not return my call. I then remembered calling him 20 years ago when my Beagle when he was attacked by another dog.This was another time where our pet was in bad shape and I wanted his expertise to give our Beagle the best chance for recovery. I thought... he didn't call back then either.I was very dissapointed that Dr.Frazer wouldn't return a call to a possible customer or former acquaintance. After reading some reviews, it was apparent that there is no customer service and your pet isn't that important to them unless to are paying at the check out counter.If Dr.Frazer was too busy then he could have at least had his Secretary call back to schedule an appointment. We were able to get some help from a Brownsburg Vet with steroids so hopefully this will not lead to back surgery.I don't wish bad things on anyone but I can't see this as a business that really cares about pets or people.I understand that Dr.Frazer is owner operator and I hope this helps when reading reviews to find a Vetinarian for your animal/family member.

We took our family dog, Cindy Lou, to Dr. Frazier for years and when that dreadful day came where we had to euthanize her... they wanted to charge me an extra $160 dollars just sit with her while they were putting her to sleep and at that time we couldn't afford it, needless to say that was the most heartbreaking day of my life and I WILL NEVER GO BACK! SHOWS HOW MUCH THEY CARE ABOUT THE WELL BEING OF ANIMALS. MAKES ME SICK. HE IS JUST MONEY HUNGRY. I wish I would have just took Cindy back home but she was very sick and in a lot of pain, having seizures every day. WISH I WOULD HAVE TAKEN HER SOMEWHERE ELSE where I could have been with her as she passed away. I will say It's a beautiful facility. Everyone else is nice that I noticed.

Took our new 3 year old dog we had just adopted here when we realized he was sick. They were quick to get him in and get him treated. The vet did an excellent job informing me on how to get him settled in and make a quick recovery.

This was our family vet. Took our lab in for x-rays...front legs giving out some and was in some pain. After many hours, HCA finally called to let us know our lab was having trouble coming out of anesthesia. We were asked to leave him there longer. Several hours later, they called and said we needed to immediately get him to an emergency vet. We got there and found that our dog was on a a stretcher and in distress! They had let him lie like that all day hoping he would "come out of it". We got him immediately in the car. One of us drove and the other needed to remain in the back of the SUV to keep him in place because he had no control over his body. During our drive, HCA had the audacity to call and chew me out because we didn't stop to pay for the x-rays. I explained that we were trying to get our dog to the emergency veterinarian and could they please send me a bill. She said that I needed to pay while I was on the phone because they did a service, and we had not paid. I'm lying in the back of an SUV with an animal in distress and had to read my credit card information to them! This has been almost a year ago, and I'm still upset over it! They sent a dog out in total distress...we NEVER heard from them again. They never called to check on him or anything! Definitely NOT a caring oriented environment! If you need emergency veterinary care I HIGHLY recommend VCA Animal Hospital on 96th street. They saved our dog's life!!

I liked some of the staff, but there were a couple of doctors whom I had expected to be more experienced with handling the death/terminal diagnosis of a pet. I had gone in with my cat who was old and struggling and although I had been prepared for bad news, I had not expected the reaction that I received. After scans, I heard through the closed door (between the doctor and a woman who I assumed to be a vet tech / assistant), I was hearing comments like "wow, I don't know how to handle this type of situation", "how do i tell her", and "this is the worst case I've seen in a while" (albeit not exact quotes, I was emotional and can't remember the precise wording). After a few minutes the doctor came in and told me she had cancer that had spread pretty far. I understand that it is a very difficult and stressful job, but I wish they would have realized that they don't have the thickest walls and broken the news to me more respectfully.

This is a great vet for your pets... The staff are wonderful and caring and the assistants are really great with my cats... trying to help calm them when they get nervous, taking th he time to get to know them and cuddling them. The vets are all very knowledgeable and willing to explore various treatments needed... they are compassionate at the end of a pets life, which really helped me through it... plus they are not overly expensive, which, with more than one pet is really helpful!

I called this vet hospital because my dog is very very sick and my vet is closed right now and I spoke to Mike the vet tech. I explained my dog's situation while crying. I need reassurance that I'm doing everything I could possibly do and when I was getting off the phone I heard him burst out laughing. I heard him. He denies it, but I know what I heard. I'm pretty sure this review will be taken down, but I know exactly what I heard.

We have a new puppy and so far they have been good. We also boarded him there for a few days and it seems like that was good as well. I only gave them 4 stars because no one is perfect and someone else could have a whole different outlook on how they do. So, good luck if you decide to go with them.

Dr. Frazier is awesome. I followed him to his current location from another location. On two separate occassions, he was able to diagnose things in my German Shepherds that had been missed by other vets. In one instance, he saved me a $500 surgery expense. He's always been great with our big dogs but what I value most is his experience and knowledge. He's definitely at the top of his profession.

I will never bring my dog here ever again. My boyfriend slipped on our hardwood floor and accidentally landed on my puppies leg. She was in a lot of pain and couldn’t put weight on her leg. Hamilton Crossing is open until 4pm on Saturdays we got to the hospital at 3:40pm. After telling the receptionists what happened they said the doctor just left and they couldn’t help us at all. We walked out of the animal hospital got in our car and then we saw the vet walk out of the building and get in his car right next to ours.....I guess getting off work 20 minutes early was more important to all of them.

I’ve been taking my baby (Pekingese) here for 11 years. He pulls me to get inside. I’ve seen each of the Dr’s multiple times over the years and each one is kind, understanding and helpful.
