My cat was hit by a car and they were able to get me in very quickly to look him over. The vet, receptionist and tech were so incredibly kind with clear communication. Cost was more than reasonabke and staff was understanding and helpful in terms of our budget. The fact that they were all able to squeeze me in was more than the other vets in the area were willing to do. I so appreciate this vet and look forward to taking our cat Goose here again in the future.

I absolutely love taking my Beagle (Shadow)! Everyone is super nice and knowledgeable and Dr. Davis Couch is amazing at what he does. My fur baby is my life and I wouldn't take him anywhere else! I recommend anyone with a pet/pets to go to Good Shepherd.

My friend and I took our puppies to Dr. Couch for check-ups/vaccines. During that time my friend had to pay $130 for a splint because the doctor told us that the original vet who performed the X-rays misdiagnosed her dog and he had a fractured growth plate even though the other vet said he was fine. We take her puppy to the specialist that he recommended and guess what? No fracture. Dr. Couch read the X-ray wrong. As for my puppy, I am now having to take him to another vet because he contracted ringworm from this office!

I've been bringing my cats here for several years. One is a rather frequent visitor for fairly consistent issues. Dr. Couch is fine with treating the symptoms, but he never seems interested in looking for the underlying cause. I've had cats *all my life* and I've seen lots of conditions and behaviors, but whenever I say anything about how this cat has issues I've never seen or how this cat behaves differently than any other cat I've had, Dr. Couch acts like I'm an idiot and says that everything is perfectly normal (which would imply that ALL my other cats have been peculiar) and all he needs is an e-collar or antibiotics. If you have an animal that needs a basic treatment or teeth cleaning, Good Shepherd is a fine practice. If you have an animal that is consistently having the same problem and you'd like to treat the cause not the symptoms, you might want to look elsewhere.

The front desk girl very nice ! The vet Meh. I was not happy with my visit . I went in for a teeth quote only. I was charged for what the called a exam . My whole time spent in the the Dr was under 5 minutes. I timed it. I was charged for a full exam and he only listened to her heart and felt her over and looked in her mouth briefly . I was charged $56 . They quoted me $1200 for a dental cleaning . I about FELL over !!! I just took my dog to Franklin Animal Clinic and the dental quote is FREE. no charge and the Level 2 cleaning there is $400-500. That is a DRASTIC difference. So needless to say I will never return there ! I felt ripped off and like they don’t care about your pet .

I was hesitant to return to this clinic because the vet treated me very disrespectfully and felt very rushed. I decided to give it one more chance since it is so close to my home. I will never return and I hope others who see this review will choose a different vet. During the exam the Vet grabbed my dog and stuck a dirty/soiled thermometer in his rectum. He was dismissive with my concerns and had a very quick, cynical attitude. He displayed a very uncaring and rough approach to me and my pet. The office staff had similar manners.

Doctor Couch is the best vet in Indiana. His assistants are great, especially Lisa. She's very intelligent and extremely good with animals. The fees are very reasonable. I will go nowhere else.

Took my new dog there. 5 minutes later done. Figured i was just fast, took my cat and he was a smart a** didnt care. Charged me 200.00 and cat sick. He said should have brought animal when it started. We did two days later. Cat worse now and he didnt know what was wrong. Just wanted the money. Never been to vet two times and out in 10 minutes each and charged several hundred dollars. Did services but didnt help and tell me the cost untill after he done them.his office in an old house. Not a office, should have thought that one out. Do not go, he doesnt care, just in and out. I contacted the state and bbb. Franklin animal clinic is whare ill go from now on, at least they care about my pets (family) the way i do.

I took my 2 dogs there for their yearly shots including the Lyme disease. I spent $405 ($280 for the initial shots and $125 for the Lyme disease booster 3 weeks later). They charged me twice ($40 each) for my Lyme disease shots one for the initial and one for the booster. When I came back for the booster they charged me $25 per dog for a minimal examination of teeth and rubbing down of the dog. I was in the office for less than 10 minutes. When I questioned the bill I was simply told it's fine. They also wanted to muzzle my 53lb basset hound even after I told them he was skittish when I first walked back to the examination room. I will never use this vet again.

Took my cat there didn't have fleas when it came in but it did when it left. Then a few days later wile still wearing the cone at 3am i noticed one of the paws started bleeding badly.
