They have the best vets and staff I have ever encountered in the 12 years I have had my dog. I have moved around a lot and have been to some large vet hospitals in Chicago, Indianapolis, Carmel, Mishawaka, and Michigan City, but this hospital has by far the kindest staff and vets, the most reasonable prices, and are on-target with their diagnoses and treatments. We drive to their clinic even though I live in Chicago because of Dr. Collard's and Dr. Farrell's empathetic and exceptional care. I have to give a million thank yous to them for my dog's recovery last year when he became very ill with pancreatitis and contracted an infection. Nothing is forced or pushed here. When you call, you will always feel like they will try to give you the times you need, and when you show up, the staff is very respectful and courteous. The vets take time out to talk to you without discounting your concerns. They explain everything and give clear instructions and recommendations. You will not be disappointed by this clinic's warm and gentle care.

Murphy had an appointment on Monday 12th, was updated on all his shots. Dr. Molly is his Vet and was very through checked by everything from teeth to allergies, even clipped his nails. I brought my Shep in for his yearly exam. He is very guarded and skittish. His vet visits are very stressful for him. (Me too!) The vets at Dyer Animal clinic are wonderful. They are very patient and gentle. Shep did very well his last visit there. I was pleased that Shep was NOT dramatized this time for his exam and shots. It was suggested that mild medication for Shep would be useful to help him stay calm and it worked great. I also get a discount because I have multiple animals I bring there. Every bit helps in my book. A little goes a long way. If you live in or around Dyer Indiana and looking for really compassionate vets.. look no further. You won't be disappointed.

I used to go to another vet in Highland, but the last time I was at this other vet for a pre-spay exam, I didn't like the way the doctor handled my cat or the way he spoke to us. He acted as if he'd never dealt with a nervous cat before and kept making negative comments and was rough with her. I didn't feel comfortable going through with the spaying, so I made a new appointment at Dyer Animal Clinic. Everyone I dealt with at DAC was wonderful. They were so patient and gentle with my cat, and I was shocked at how much calmer she was around them. The spay went very well, I'm so glad I decided to switch. I've been back for other issues and am impressed each time. I also really appreciate the online appointment/email services.

I am thrilled to have taken all 3 of my dogs (Shelties) to Molly. Her care of my dogs has been outstanding! She helped me through the end stage of the lives of two of my dogs. She showed so much compassion and understanding which helped me during a very difficult time. She is very responsive and helpful. She fit me in one day with an emergency situation. Molly listens to my concerns and explains what is happening and what to expect with any situation She is currently helping me with my third dog regarding a medical condition. I know my dog is in great hands with Molly guiding me. Just this last week, I had to put my third dog down. Molly had been guiding me through my dogs illness and offered comfort and compassion when the time had come. She showed how much she cared. She presented me with options and the risk. When I get my next dog, I know Molly will be taking care of my next baby! I drive a little over 30 minutes each way to see Molly. As a side note, that is with a dog that gets car sick. She is worth it! If you want an excellent Veterinarian, please call her and schedule an appointment. In addition to being knowledgeable, I do believe you will find Molly to be compassionate, a great listener and very easy to talk with. Just an update...I have been taking my dogs to Dr. Molly since she started at Dyer Animal Clinic. She is so helpful and knowledgeable. She is fantastic!!! A few years have passed since I met Dr. Molly Farrell, and I am still driving 30 min each way to have her take care of my Shelties. So knowledgeable, listens well, and gives excellent advice!

Recommendation: Dyer Animal Clinic (DAC) is the best in my opinion!! They performed a miracle with my Chihuahua! Coco is a rescue dog. He LOVES the care-givers at DAC and has never been comfortable anywhere else! If you love your animals, please take them to Dyer Animal Clinic! Short Story: On January 2, 2019, our dog suddenly became totally paralyzed. My vet of 35 years had retired, and i had not yet found one that I felt i could trust. A relative recommended Dyer Animal Clinic (DAC). What a blessing DAC proved to be!! We could immediately feel their caring spirit, much like the old-fashioned mom-&-pop vets used to be. X-rays showed a bit of narrowing between two neck vertebrae, but this was not sufficient explanation for paralysis. Blood tests were good, so Dr. Radencic gave him anti-flamatory & muscle relaxor meds and showed us how to care for our dog at home around the clock. Dr. De Graaf helped us with his diet and vitamins. Our dog also received laser treatments at DAC for 5 weeks. Now Coco is walking again and is almost back to normal. We have adopted DAC into our family. We call Coco “Our Miracle Dog!” Before We Found Dyer Animal Clinic: When Coco became paralyzed, we called three local animal clinics, and none would look at him! They all told us to take him to neurologists, which were 1.5 to 2 hours away! Estimated cost for “supportive care” could be as high as $1000 per day plus at least $5000 for neurological testing. Because of the holidays, neurologists would not be on staff for another 5 days!! We were looking at a minimum $10,000 with no guarantee that we would find the cause. We did not want to leave Coco so far away. He was already afraid, because of being paralyzed and would have been traumatized being with strangers for 5 days. We took him to a local animal hospital, and spent a small fortune on blood tests, all of which came back negative. The attending doctor also recommended a long-distance neurologist. Then we discovered Dyer Animal Clinic, and the rest is happy history! DYER ANIMAL CLINIC was the only clinic that would take him into their care! It did not cost us a fortune!! I would recommend DAC to everyone!

We took our cat Teddy in and found out he is diabetic 6 weeks ago. We were so nervous about giving him injections. Dr.Farrell walked us through giving him shots and when we had problems we called the office and they had us come in to answer our questions on injecting the needles. Veterinarian Molly Farrell and her staff has been so supportive. Our cat Teddy is now stable. Yes, I would recommend taking your pet there. POST SCRIPT: It has now been 3 months working with Vet. Farrell. You must keep follow-up appts., which we have, and talked with her about any concerns. Everything is going very well with Teddy. We will keep you posted. It is now 10 months later and Teddy is stable and doing very well. Since Vet. Farrell owns cats I feel she has a better understanding of cats problems. Teddy turned 15 June 2018... It has been a 16 months and Teddy is doing well. It is getting hard for him to go up and down stairs. But if I was old as he is in cat years I would have a hard time to. He will only eat Sheba in natural juices and I sprinkle a little fiber on it 2 times a day..... 3-2019 We just got Niko a grand champion seal point neutered 3 year old male birman. He fathered several champions. He is the sweetest cat. He will be good company for Teddy. We had to be put on waiting lists for a birman. Since we wanted a older cat because of our are age we didn't want a kitten, so we had to wait 7 months for a older cat. Saw DVM Farrell 3-4-2019. She check Niko out thoughly and he loved every minute. I think he would have stayed there forever if we didn't make him go home with us.

My 11 year old Shih Tzu has had weight problems for years. We would see his vet (Not Dyer Animal Clinic) 3-4 times a years for checkups and various issues, the only thing we were told was he needs to loose weight. The very first time we went to DAC, the Dr, wanted to do a thyroid test on our little guy and sure enough found that his thyroid was severely under active. He has been on meds for a couple months and is loosing weight steadily. I am so glad we made the switch. Dyer Animal Clinic staff is knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with. Most of all they are efficient. I get in and out quickly every time.

I moved to Dyer about 2 years ago. When i was looking for a new vet to take care of my cats, I luckily stumbled onto Dyer Animal Clinic. Between my wife and I, we've been here probably about 7 or 8 times so far in 2 years and every experience was very enjoyable. Whether it's been Dr. Farrell, Dr. Degraaf, or in my latest trip Dr. Radencic, all of my cats, and now a dog have gotten exceptional care. The staff here is very caring and compassionate, and they always calm me down when i'm freaking out about my pet's health issues. Most recently one of the poor vet techs here was assaulted by my scared tabby, and they and the rest of the staff took it in stride and helped make her as comfortable as she could be with having a UTI. I'd like to apologize for that again, and thank you all for your kindness, professionalism, and your vast amounts of knowledge you guys bestow on me each time i come there, thanks again.

What a nice, clean clinic with modern equipment. Dr. Molly is so caring with my little dog and I have no fear when I bring my dog to her. She treats my dog like it is her own. The doctor explains medical health care for my dog in terms I can understand and takes her time with me. I never feel rushed or that my pet is getting less than her full attention and service. we have tried out many vets closer to our area (Whiting/Hammond) heard about Dyer animal clinic from a friend... and never went anywhere else! We had a cat who was aging & suffering from a few different issues, Dr Farrell took great care of him. When you're crying & grieving over your baby that you had to give up to the heavens & look over to find the Doc crying too- you know her heart is wonderful. Dr Farrell is awesome- she loves on my kitties like I love on my kitties, every time we see her! She is well worth the longish drive with two meowing babies who hate car rides. LOL Spooky and Wizzo love their doc :)

Our cat was in so much pain, it happened so fast, we called Dyer Animal Clinic and they squeezed him in same day--as it turns out, he needed a tooth pulled and the doctor was able to do it right then - by the time we left the clinic, he was visibly better and even ate when we got home. Dr. Farrell is just wunderbar! My fiance used to take his pets to her years ago and was excited when we found she was now at Dyer Animal Clinic. She is nothing less than wonderful! Our previous vet tended to nickel and dime us for our annual expenses with 3 cats and 2 Chows. The only thing I liked about them was their open hours. But, I'll gladly make an appointment and wait for Dr. Farrell. She discovered upon inspection one of our rescue cats had an ear infection. Marla was always very sensitive with her ears since she was a kitten, and this likely was a contributing factor. Dr. Farrell cleaned out our kitties ears which the last vet office did not and treated the ear infection. I'm so happy to have found such a devoted and caring veterinarian. We won't go anywhere else.
