DO NOT take your pet here! We took our dog here when she got sick and they told us she would be fine, but that night we had to take her to be put down. Then my friend took her cat here also and the exact same thing happens. Take your pet to a better vet, they deserve better.

Tails wag as soon as we pull in and when we get inside they go to the counter looking for all their favorite people!!! Always a pleasant experience!!! Grateful to have a vet I trust so close to home! Had a bit of a scare over last weekend with our dog, who has been with us now for about a month. The vet is out on Saturdays, but the front desk was very reassuring and knowledgeable. She set up an appointment for us Monday morning and gave us steps for what we could do in the meantime to make our pup more comfortable. Our appointment could not have gone more smoothly. Our dog was very nervous/anxious in the lobby, but they made him feel right at home during the examination! They answered all of our questions, gave us the appropriate medicine and shots, and our dog is feeling much better now! Everyone we met seemed very knowledgeable and they clearly make customer care a top priority. They also have a candle in the lobby that they light if anyone has lost their pet, which I think is very thoughtful.

I made an appointment to have my dogs teeth cleaned and an extraction back in November 2017. I was told that if I made the appointment in February, I would receive a discount as it was Dental Promotion Month. This worked out great for me since I had scheduled time off for that month. Two Days prior to the procedure I took her in for blood work and was called the following day, to say everything looked fine and the instructions I was to follow for surgery the next day. A couple hours later, I was called back and has told that the vet was on vacation and the visiting vet was uncomfortable doing the procedure, and that I was being Re-scheduled for the following week. WHAT? Less than 24 hours before I was to have her there, they just now find out there is no one to clean her teeth? I made this appointment 3 months ago. I have taken time off. The male receptionist was less than apologetic. He told me I would have to take it up with the office manager. I said I would like to speak with her. Well needless to say, no one ever called to explain to me who dropped the ball. I called another Vet and was able to get right in for the procedure. Poor office management, and poor customer service.

Started with them when we first got our puppy. They informed us about what shots to get and when. The office made appointments for the shots at the appropriate time. We finish our last set and they inform us that they dont have the paperwork, they have nothing on our dog. Luckily we've kept everything they ever given us. If you can't manage to take care of your paperwork then I wont let you managae the care of my pet.

I had an emergency with Health papers at the Airport..(my vet didn't write clearly) and they were so nice and got the pups in that minute and saved the day ! I'm so thankful for that ! Lovely staff and Dr Jo Anne Allrich thanks for doing that for me not many vets are so kind and willing !! You guys Rock !! Definitely have all my business when needed !! Worst vet ever. My dog had two shots today and didn't do it right, now has muscle knots, so they injected him too deep, worst customer service. When asking a question, no one has the right answer. They'll all give you a different answer than what the vet says. You have a better chance googling how to treat your dog and getting the drugs at royal king.

They try to make you get expensive heartworm test & meds. My dog is 8 years old. So I declined but was rudely hounded about it until I left. I won't ever be returning.

Took our puppy there for her foot they said she had two fractured toes when we ask for the x-ray they gave us a blank disc but they were sure to collect their money then I called with concerns about my puppy not too long ago and they were rude!

Nothing but problems. They book so full you cant get a sick pet in and no staff knows what is going on. They all tell you different things. I called bc my young kitten was sick and the receptionist argued with me that it was probably allergies. Needless to say these allergies were bad in a couple days and we spent $150 at an emergency clinic that told me that considering the age and having just came from a shelter there was no excuse to be told it was probably allergies. Luckily hospitalization wasn't necessary yet. Then my older kitten had to go to the er over the same cold. Also, the receptionist argued with me saying that they had given my kitten a rabies shot (they had not, she had already been vaccinated before somewhere else and never left my side while there). There is just too much to go into, but no one knows what is going on, you never get the same answer from anyone about anything AND the place smells like poop EVERY TIME YOU GO. I have been in there on 4 different occasions whether it be make payment, pick up meds or appointment. Don't go here.

We had a 5-star experience! The customer service & patient care definitely made an impact on following through with an extensive surgery for my rescued yorkie. They work as a team and you can feel it in the office. This will be my dogs clinic for any future needs. Thank You again for taking care of Oliver and he is doing great!

This was my vet for 3 years Took my dog there for the same issue 3 times. They never took care of the issue or called after to check up. After one visit at a different vet my dog is healed. Office always smells horrible.

Decatur vet clinic doesn't even deserve a star. In August of last year my dog had an accident on her back. After 2 surgeries she was still in pain and about 2 months ago she was not using one of her legs. After asking a minimum of 4 times for an X-ray, and not getting one we went to a different clinic. What they found was a tumor that was not only in the bone but the blood stream as well. They told us we had to either have a 3rd surgery that was less than 50% chance she would survive and be in pain the whole way through. Or put her to sleep. Today at 12:30pm I will have to put my baby to sleep so it's not painful anymore. Please don't go to feature vet clinic because they'll kill ur dog just like they killed mine.

Very nice staff. This was my first visit. A lot more pricy than I was lead to believe. I like the staff though and as long as they take good care of my fur babies I won't complain too loud about their prices.

My mother had been taking her pets here for approximately 13 years. Elvis was her Chihuahua that we all absolutely adored and was the best dog ever. Unfortunately his life was cut very short at the hands of this place. Elvis had a skin disorder in which they were giving him steroid shots to help with the itching. They specifically told her that the shots may cause diabetes but continued giving them to him about every few months instead of considering other options. Elvis always had routine blood work done quite often so anything going on they should have seen because after all they are a licensed veterinarian. He had just had more blood work done December 5th and by December 6th the veterinarian was calling saying Elvis needed to be brought in right away which meaning that same day because he needed an ultrasound of his abdomen. Needless to say they never called to say anything was wrong or that everything was ok but it was so urgent that he needed brought in that same day. So by January 6th he got so sick that on January 7th we were taking him to an emergency vet that done blood work right away and could tell he was full blown diabetic,was in liver failure,had full blown pancreatitis and had to be euthanized a month later
