Dr. Sponsler was so kind and informative and really took her time to answer all my questions and concerns! It is definitely pricy but since the care seems to be good I am willing to pay that price. 5 star for great service and especially Dr. Sponsler :)

Best vet experience I've had! I was able to get an appointment quickly and with no wait when I got there. Everyone was super friendly, took the time to explain everything and answer all of my questions. They explained pricing and the appointment didn't cost an arm and a leg. The most caring group of veterinarians. BRAC went above and beyond for us and our dog from the time we moved to Indy until the day our pup passed away. When he had to undergo a few major surgeries, the whole team did everything in their power to make sure both me and my dog were as comfortable as possible with the process. 3/18 Staff is always friendly, accommodating, and thorough, without being pushy. I really like this place and so do my dogs! Also, they're very comfortable working with my breed, which many vets are often not. 10/18 Update: I still love this vet clinic more than any other I have been to over the years. Several different states and dozens of animals- my own and rescues... if every clinic could be so compassionate, vets so thorough, and staff so friendly, the veterinary community would be forever changed. We mainly see Dr. Lithio and I have never met a nicer person. She genuinely makes me feel like she cares and has even shed a tear or two with me over my boy's terminal cancer diagnosis. She's gentle in her delivery of even the worst news. I cannot recommend this practice enough.

They are a little bit pricey, but it's a good example of you get what you pay for. There are treats in the wait room for you and your fur baby, but I've never actually had to wait in the wait room, I'm always seen immediately. We go to Dr. Barr. Shes very bubbly and nice, as are all of the vet techs we've met. They give a complete your when you first go there. Very cool.

My 14 year old shepherd has been having dry eye problems for three to four years; we even took her to a vet ophthalmologist. Dr.Barr was super thorough, did several tests, put her on two ointments and our dog has no longer had the massive discharge which used to require cleaning of her eyes every half hour. It’s very important to me that the vet I take my animals to are AAHA accredited, and this clinic is. It is very obvious that they keep up with the strict standards set in place by AAHA. Very clean, lots of parking for being in broad ripple area. My cat saw 2 of the vets and I found them both extremely knowledgeable, took their time, answered questions. My cat had a dental and the have a hotline to call back directly the surgery area and I found that so comforting. They took me on tour of the entire clinic and everything i saw clean and organized!

I used to give glowing recommendations of this place, but after our latest experience, I no longer can. Our cat has had a history of a particular infection. After displaying the behaviors that accompany the infection, we brought her in for evaluation (probably the third or fourth time doing so). We told the veterinarian that she has had a history of this issue and that we suspected that it was the cause of her behavior. After examining, the veterinarian made it seem that the issue was much more serious, suggesting both x-rays and blood work, totaling $600. We decided to go with x-rays and medication and while the medication temporarily relieved the pain our cat was experiencing, it later returned over a holiday weekend. We had to take her to an emergency clinic considering Broad Ripple Animal Clinic was closed for the next two days. Upon evaluation, the emergency clinic was shocked that the veterinarian completely missed that our cat had the particular infection and suggested x-rays and blood work to be done. I asked if this was 100% the source of the pain our cat was experiencing and they said "yes, there is no doubt". They said her infection was so inflamed that there was no missing it. Both my wife and I complained to Broad Ripple Animal Clinic, but got talked down to. We ended up paying about $600 total for what should have been an easily diagnosable infection that our cat had been seen repeatedly before. I am sure that most people will have pleasant experiences here, but this last experience for us has made us a customer that will not return.

The service here is absolutely incredible. I check on my beloved hamster one afternoon to find she was very ill and dying. I didn’t want her to suffer so I searched for vets open on Saturday. In Indy it’s a scarce list, this vet was open all day though! I called to ask for a quote and to schedule it. They got me in immediately and it only cost me $20. Typically it’s around 50-70 to euthanize a hamster. We walked into the room and there were candles lit and they had our water and tissues ready in preparation for this hard time. They were so kind and gentle. They also explain everything they are going to do and while they’re doing it. They teach. It’s nice for a change. They educate you on your pet’s health just like how you should know your own anatomy and physiology. They made this event so much better. I was hardly able to think about it on the car ride home because I was so shocked by their facility and service. A week or two later I received an odd package from the BRAC... I spent the greater part of an hour deciding on opening it or not. I brought my pet home with me and was afraid I was sent someone else’s ashes. But I opened it, and inside was a velvet bag holding the most adorable and precious clay heart with Marble’s tiny little paws pressed into it. They took the time behind the scenes to make this keepsake of her, and all for $20. Exceptional service. I recently took my two dogs in for a general exam and it was nothing short of great. They got me in within a week of my appointment request. Again, open on Saturdays. They went beyond the average exams I’ve been to. They didn’t forget to check a single part of my dogs. They educated me on things I could improve on to help them out. They also make plenty of recommendations on vaccines and preventatives not just for your dog and yourself but for the concern of other pets. They approved my prescriptions online within 24 hours. The vacility is so clean and updated on the inside. There is always parking available in their lot. You can stay connected and up to date on appointments with their app. The staff is so kind and beyond friendly. It truly is a quality vet office.

While I was not the one to take my little nugget to his appointment, I did do the scheduling and spoke with the office regarding his meds which was wonderful customer service. The appointment was at 7pm with Dr. Murphy (who I was told was so sweet to my anxious boy). They provided my pup a free consult and the price overall was surprisingly inexpensive for the quality of care they staff provided (per my boyfriend who took my pup in). They were so prompt with filling his required prescriptions, gave treatment recommendations that really work, and were overall so kind to my anxious baby. Overall, I think we've found our new vet :)

We took our cat in on a Saturday late afternoon because it was the only vet, that wasn't an emergency vet, that was open. Our cat had what I thought was an upper respiratory infection. Turns out, we probably would have spent less money if we had gone to the emergency vet! In the 4 days we were back and forth there, we saw 3 different doctors. Each doctor had a different diagnosis, yet none could tell us what was wrong. The first doctor, Dr. Lithio, was very nice and was the one closest to the correct diagnosis. Saturday, he had SubQ fluids, a steroid shot, and an antibiotic shot. She said he may have a tooth issue. His lungs were clear. He wasn't much better on Monday so they told us to bring him back in. We were told Dr. Lithio was there. Turns out, she was just leaving for the day, so we had to see someone else. This doctor was mostly focused on Feline FIV. We have had this cat since birth so I wasn't convinced that was the issue. There was talk about blood work, dental x-rays, chest x-rays, and a skull x-ray, but still no one could tell us what was wrong. At that point, we had already spent $400 and were looking at another $700 quote. We ended up deciding to go with a dental cleaning and tooth extraction if necessary. We went in on Tuesday for the surgery and had yet another doctor. While the cat was under anesthesia, she called to say she wasn't sure what was wrong. Again, she wanted to do the chest x-ray and the skull x-ray. She then told us that his teeth were bad and all of them needed extracted to the tune of $2500! This cat is only 9 years old. We told them clean the teeth and extract the one tooth we all along thought was the issue. When we picked him up, we owed another $800. They put us in a room, then sent in a tech that wasn't at all familiar with our case. She couldn't even read the x-rays. The notes they left her to read to us said they extracted a lower tooth. They had told us it was an upper tooth. Then, I read the actual report and it said an upper tooth. The tech basically said Oops they made a mistake filling out the paperwork. I thought, for $1200 you would think we could at least get the correct paperwork and a doctor to explain to us what was done. I called the office manager to discuss the charges. She basically talked in circles and would not reduce the bill. She wanted to know for learning purposes what they could do better. I told her for starters have the patient see the same doctor for all visits! Turns out it was what the original doctor said...respiratory infection and a bad tooth! Bottom line....super expensive and excessive testing. They do care about the animals, but seem to like their money better. We definitely won't be back!

I have brought both a dog and a cat to this clinic. The cat I found outside as a stray under my porch here in broad ripple. Though they did make me aware of the perils of letting kitty (shyguy) be indoor/outdoor in an urban environment, they never pressured me to choose otherwise. Shyguy had such a free spirit we could not keep him “inside only” after growing up a stray. He suffered a urethra blockage at around 1 year old and the care he received from the staff of Broad Ripple Animal Clinic was superb. He spiked a fever after the surgery to unblock the urethra and they cared for him diligently even over the weekend, even allowing my boyfriend and I to visit him. They recommended an emergency/unorthodox treatment to save him which worked. We could not afford to explore the full source of the fever through the further testing they recommended, which they respected and gave us lots of information anyway. About six-eight months later he showed more symptoms of undiagnosed lymphoma and passed away quickly after Dr Murphy confirmed his diagnosis. Even though we had to take him to the emergency vet for cremation after a late-night passing, Dr Murphy still called us to express her condolences which was so appreciated. A little over a year later our hearts healed and we adopted our dog Archie. He is a mixed breed large dog (~80lb, Great Dane/Great Pyrenees/blue heeler)with a high strung nature and lots of anxiety& shyness. Again the staff and doctors have been so patient with him and do not make us feel judged. We continue to work with them on his needs as he grows. Cannot emphasize enough the level of clarity and explanation provided by Dr Murphy who always helps us understand her reasoning in recommending treatment and what we can expect to learn from each test or procedure. While their pricing on some things may be slightly higher it is worth it for the insight they provide to the people involved.

My Vets will text me for several days after an illness to get follow ups and see how they are doing, FOR SEVERAL DAYS!!!! These people love all animals like they are theirs. I can't say enough. We won't take our babies anywhere else!!!

We have been going to Broad Ripple Animal Clinic for 11 years now, and have always been more than pleased! Dr. Neumann has been amazing, noticing little things that would have been deadly had he not caught them so early. When he isn't available, I trust the others to care as much for our dogs as they do for their own animals. Everyone is friendly and helpful and Dr. Neumann is one of the best veterinarians we've known!

I have been going to BRAC for several years with a dog I didn't expect to make it two weeks. She is 16 or 17 now and still leading a happy, fulfilling life. We both owe our happiness for her longevity to BRAC with a special thanks to Dr. Murphy for saving her from euthanasia and continuing to treat her ever since. This dog means the world to me and we have had many scares over the years, but they work with me to meet her needs and keep her in good health. It is not possible for me to express my gratitude for Dr. Murphy and the staff never giving up on me or the dog.

Our 2 year old Husky recently became horribly sick. We couldn't figure out what was wrong with her and rushed her to BRAC on a busy Saturday when they were already booked up with appointments. Dr Cruse made time for us between appointments and checked in on us periodically to keep us updated on Mika's status and how the tests were going. The entire staff was beyond phenomenal. Everyone from the women at the front reception to the nurses and techs we worked with were kind and compassionate. Even though the outcome was far from what we were hoping for, I'm confident BRAC took the best care of not only our girl but of us as well. We've since decided to transfer our other pet's vet care to BRAC as well and would highly recommend the staff and facilities to anyone.

The staff gave our cat, Sampson, the absolute best care in the 2 yrs he'd been going there. He was a senior citizen when he started going here. When terminal illness was found, the staff could not have been better in delivering the news and the treatments that the situation required. Their kindness on that day that all pet owners dread was a blessing when dealing with such sadness. I highly recommend BRAC.

Just moved to the area and was given an appointment extremely quickly on a Sunday morning. Staff were extremely helpful and kind with my dog, and I couldn't be happier with the service! Definitely coming back. Update review: Dr. Grace Lithio has been with us the entire time with our pup and provides above and beyond service. She calls for updates on blood results and any further follow up questions we have and is always patient with our inquiries while there. We would still greatly recommend the clinic!

This clinic is great! I was able to get a next-day appointment when my cat was sick, and the staff took amazing care of me and my pet. They went above and beyond to explain things and give me options that best fit my needs and my budget. The clinic itself is spotlessly clean, and the exam rooms are comfortable and convenient. I will definitely be back again for my vet needs, and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

This place is a joke, I was recommend by a friend and I am so sorry but if you want to throw your money away be my guest. First time I went in for shot and even though my puppy already got a first shot and still recommend to do it over. I didn't make any complaint and just went with it. By the time checked out, they over charged $30 and I have called back to have it adjusted. I guess they just make mistake so I still make another appointment for 2nd time and asked them to email me the cost for second visit. At the 2nd visit, I asked how much for my second visit will be and they tried to over charge me again. I have to ask them to break down the cost and finally come to the correct number. also they want to charge me extremely high amount for medicine dispense. I was not happy but I just want to get my puppy take care and I guess I made a big mistake by came back on the 3rd time. my puppy got sick after the last booster shot. I have to bring back my puppy in less than 48 hrs and was told she picked up a kennel cough and they tried to tell me it was from another dog or day care which my puppy never went to day care or contacted with other dog. she is the only puppy in the house. obviously she picked up from the vet location. they want to charge me another $56 to looked at my puppy which I already paid less than 48hrs. I told myself since I am already here let get her check out so I went with it. I asked to have manager call me back and she told me that is how the clinic operate. strictly business as I can see, no mercy. I will never come back here again and I highly recommend if you go there make sure you price check before you pay for anything. There are plenty of clinic around and maybe some worse than this but think twice before you make another appointment. they will rob you blind because they know you care for your pet and you willing to pay. Don't let them take advantage of you. Don't make mistake like I did. You been warn
