They are great if you can get an appointment but if you have an emergency you are left hanging. I tried 3 times to get an appointment for my dog that goes there for Addison's disease and could not get in. Ended up having to go to another vet..called again and still could not get in.

I had to take my cat (Foos) on May 30, 2018 to be put down. One of the worst things I’ve ever had to go through but I didn’t want to be selfish and hold onto him and I didn’t want him to suffer in anyway. Dr. Lehmann was Foos Doctor. Dr. Lehmann is so compassionate to me and my family and to my cat I simply adore Dr. Lehmann and would recommend her for your pets. Thank you Dr. Lehmann for caring for Foos.

I took my dog there because of a lump on her shoulder. I was in somewhat quickly but the visit seemed like it took forever. The vet accosted my dog everywhere but where I asked her to and found thing after thing to rattle off in techo terms to the poor girl trying to write it all down. She then got the problem at hand and finally told me I needed more tests out of company which would cost me 200.00. My old vet would clip her nails for free while examining her. Nope paid service here. Takes 5 minutes and I could do it myself... nope they charge for that. I felt like I had to neglect my dog if I were to leave with any money in my wallet. Very disappointed.

My wife took her cat here. Without x-ray the doctor could feel a mass. X-ray confirm the diagnosis. She had taken cat to another vet nearby who misdiagnosed and prescribed food tge vet sold. When cat continued with problem response was nothing new. Vet at Angel told my wife to let cat eat whatever he wants gave new food that cat ate immediately. Told to make cat comfortable as has inoperable cancer.

I struggle to write this review because there was nothing that went wrong but nothing went good either. It was my first time there. I took both of my dogs in for a yearly exam. I was not treated great about not wanting to test for heart worm, but I am sorry my dogs are older (10 and 13) and the treatment of heart worm alone would kill them. Therefore, why bother testing for it?! I also had a prescription that needed to be filled. It was over 800$ a year more expensive to fill there than if I have it filled with Chewy. Yes they wrote me a script, even after me saying that Chewy would call for the script. Then when Chewy called, they refused to agree to the script over the phone and stated I had the written script. I had to send in the written script. Fine whatever. I just feel they could have agreed to the script over the phone and saved me the time effort and money (and chance of it getting lost in the mail). All this adding up to around 350$ of an annual visit for two dogs. Overall satisfied enough but not one I would jump to recommend anytime soon.

Angle Animal Hospital is awesome! Their new facility is super clean and the staff is very friendly. Dr Anna has always taken great care of my dogs and cat and the dogs are not even scared of her. They also offer boarding which is very convenient as they have extended there hours and always have a Dr on staff if there should be any issues. If you are an animal lover like I am this is the place for your pets.

Angel Animal Hospital is the best medical facility one could ask for to care for your pets. I have 3 dogs and 2 cats and Dr. Piper always takes her time to make sure they get the best care possible. My pets are my kids and they have a variety of ongoing medical issues. We make numerous visits and we always feel assured that they will get the best treatment available. This doctors and the entire staff will go above and beyond to do whatever is needed to get and keep our pets healthy. Angel Animal Hospital is definitely a 5 star service provider !!!

My regular vet would not squeeze me in when my Cavalier had an eye infection. worried about his sight i called around and nobody would see me except for Angel Animal. the wait was a little long but after all they did squeeze me in. The staff and vet were wonderful, they were so good to my little fur baby and the drops she gave me cleared his eye up that same day. Guess who my new vet is?

Really love this vet. My dog is an anxious pup, and he actually loves coming here. He is all wags, and super happy. This is a 10-star vet clinic. We followed Dr. Piper to various temp locations from her initial place of employment until she had completed the construction of Angel Animal Hospital. When we have an emergency we trust any of her associate vets but consider Dr. Piper our vet for 2 mini-Daschunds and 1 calico cat. Tina is especially invaluable, she gives it the personal customer service that is hard to find in this day and time. I appreciate so much all the help she has given this family. The other staff members are really sweet competent girls who perform their duties perfectly and love our dogs and cat.

The vets here are so caring, and excellent with pets and involving children. They go over all the options and are mindful of the dogs age and your budget. They aren't the cheapest, but they don't gouge you. For more expensive medicine they wrote me a script so i could get it cheaper somewhere else. They definitely try to help as much as possible.

Pets are nice but they are just a pet to me. If it was my children I could see the cost benefit. Simple ear infection cost me $200. The initial visit was $140 with $20 off due to being my first visit. The follow up visit normal for me but then was tagged for another $40 to simply look inside my cats ear and lasts about 5 minutes. Too expensive? Yes, I agreed to the initial visit and figured a follow would be included. Nope. Now, the vet sees a polyp in its ear. I could just see the dollar signs going up. I am done with animals. Children are expensive enough without them. Do your homework before going here. I could have just gotten another cat for half that price. PS. Make sure to bring your wallet!

My wife called them at 7pm because our dog injured himself trying to crawl under a chain-link fence at our new home, and we didn't have a local vet yet...they're located about 2 minutes from us. The staff was supremely friendly, professional and warm, and took excellent care of our poor pup. They took great care to explain what I was paying for, and unlike other reviewers, I felt the fees were very reasonable. Initial visit, treating the wounds, pain-killers and 2 different kinds of antibiotics was only $180. I asked about clipping my dog's toenails (he's too lively for me to do it when he's feeling himself!) and instead of doing it and charging me for it, I received a very helpful tutorial on how to do it right myself. That is so very appreciated! Very fun, inviting environment, as well! They will *absolutely* be our permanent doggie doctors!

My pets I treat like my children. I take pride in how well I care for them and will go to great lengths to make sure they are happy and healthy. I switched to Angel about 2 years ago with my 2 dogs. At first I thought they were great, but definitely pricey. They gave me options for my basset who has severe allergy problems which was also great. They recommended a dermatologist so we did that. We put her on atopica which worked ($200 a month for this stuff)! But then ear infections, nails decaying, tumors, etc started happening so we took her off the meds and tried the next option. That didn't work. We were left going to prednisone, which is a steroid. In the meantime we took a cytology of the mass, caused by atopica, that came back inconclusive ($300 for nothing) They gave us a week supply of the steroid and said they would not give us anymore until we paid for a punch biopsy on her mass which is a more invasive procedure that would cost us an additional $300! Keep in mind this is all within one week and this test only shows if it is cancerous or not. Well she is 8 and probably doesn't have much time left. The office ladies called 4 seperate times trying to call and schedule the punch. I asked everytime for the vet to call me back. Never once did Dr. Kovach call me back which is rude and inconsiderate. I want her happy and comfortable. Her mass is a seperate issue than her allergies... I would never make an animal suffer to make a buck. That's all this place seems to care about. Switching to Franklin Animal Clinic in Greenwood is the best thing I did for my babies.

After moving from NY 5 years ago, and leaving our beloved family vet behind, we had to find a new one. Lucky for us, we found Angel Animal Hospital! The people here are soooo nice! You can tell that everyone who works there genuinely loves animals. ALL animals! The place is gorgeous inside, the a massive salt water fish tank, front and center, and a gigantic bird aviary up over head. Kitty boarding is done in the upper level with windows that look down on the fish and fowl. There is no price gouging here. They are professional, and give you an estimate before treatment starts, of possible costs. Once there is a diagnosis they have no trouble discussing which methods are best, and which might be more affordable. If it is something very serious, that requires more than what they can handle (sonogram, etc), they have a list of wonderful specialists that they work very closely with. One of our kitties became very sick and required seeing two different specialists. The Dr.s at Angel Animal Hospital were in constant contact with the other two vets, to coordinate the best options for kitty. Ultimately it was decided the most humane thing to do would be to let her go. The loving and caring way they handled us, and our kitty, during the ordeal still brings a tear to my eye today. One other thing. You know how most pets HATE going to the vet? Well our Corgi pup loves to go visit the vet! It is his second favorite place to go (the dog park is #1 lol).

I've been taking my dog to this hospital for 3 years now and have consistently been floored by the service! Dr. Ritz has always been very nice to my rescue Yorkie, Walter, who originally presented to them with severe separation anxiety issues. The costs for the medications to help him were reasonable, and he's improved significantly since the first late night when we walked into the hospital. Dr. Ritz has always impressed me with her management of Walter's care and her kindness towards him. Beyond Walter's physician, the other staff are always warm and friendly, though the wait times can sometimes be a bit too long. The facility itself is clean and cheerful, which can ease the wait times. My only real gripe is that the prices are a bit high for routine wellness visits and lab work, but it's offset by the friendly, knowledgeable staff and doctors working there. I certainly don't feel ripped off when I visit, even if the location is a bit out of the way for me. I highly recommend this animal hospital to anyone in the Greenwood area, because I really do like it a lot!

We really like but what keeps us coming back is Dr. Lehmann and the wonderful vet techs who walk us back and help out with appointments. Dr. Lehmann is so thorough and loving to our dogs and we trust her completely. We like the overall clinic as well but I'm sure there are plenty of lovely clinics around! We recently had our kitty's health rapidly decline and found out she had cancer and only a few days left to live. We made the tough choice to put her to sleep, and Dr. Leto at Angel Animal Hospital made the process a little bit more comforting. She is hands down the best vet, made us feel comforted in our tough decision and was so sensitive to our emotions. She was so sweet with our kitty in her final days and that meant the world to us. The staff there is also amazing. Days later we got a sympathy card in the mail from Dr. Leto and the whole staff had signed it. I highly recommend Dr. Leto and Angel Animal Hospital. They are wonderful!

Wife and I took our Jack Russel and Beagle there because our vet doesn't use computers, which can be inconvenient, and we were in for shock. This place was ridiculous! We were there for three times as long as if we went to Briarcrest in Franklin and payed twice the money! For that we could have made the drive from "Angel" animal hospital to Briarcrest and back before "Angel" finished their dog and pony show offering up $200+ in blood work and taking your dogs away for 15 minutes just to give them a shot. The service isn't any better. Wha'd I get for my money? A piece of paper that says "Treatment Plan". Way to go guys, you're real winners!

My name is Vanessy Cortes. I’ve always been leery taking my cats to the vet. With videos and stuff you see on the internet (yes, it is to my detriment), you can see why any person who truly loves their pets can be a bit suspicious. And when I say truly loves, I love my cats like they are my kids! But when it came to Angels Animal Hospital, from the dr, to the vet assistant, and down to the receptionist; I felt nothing but sincere care towards my cat Caesar. I took him in because I felt that he had respiratory problems and just knew he wasn’t feeling himself, Dr. Clark diagnosed him. With a proper exam and X-rays, she couldn’t find what was wrong with them. Still, in my heart I knew there was something wrong. She proscribed antibiotics and sent us on our way. Going home,i still felt a bit skeptical and sad because I knew Caesar was sick and we couldn’t find what was wrong with him. A week later, with the antibiotics and a phone call from Dr Clark, herself, and a card from the staff, Caesar is back to his normal self and I grew to loving this hospital! Dr. Clark is amazing and everything you expect you’re veterinarian to be. Thank Angel Animal Hospital for all you do!

For almost 2 months, my poor guy has been through the ringer, I was blessed to have gone to Angel hospital today. My little Shih tzu has been suffering with some neurotic like behavior and we were trying Prozac and other things and I was previously told by the other vets ( 2 of them) that his blood work was normal etc. Dr Leto wanted to see the blood work. They faxed but not all of the testing, she was not going to let it go without seeing it~ We finally had it faxed over and it WAS NOT NORMAL. She found where it was off. We retested his blood again and compared it and he had worsened (only from 6 weeks before) and then we tested for cushings and he had it. So now, I get to treat his kidney failure and issues and neurological behavioral issues appropriately. WHEN YOU don't trust what is going on with your animal, your little buddy. Then trust your gut and get a 2nd opinion. I did and NOW ~ I have a new Vet. Dr Leto agreed to be Finley's Vet and I am ecstatic. As and Added note~~~ later this evening AFTER 8pm Dr Leto even called me back personally (I had another question); NOW THAT'S SERVICE!!!! Thank you Angels and I do not mind driving from Mooresville to see you!!! I was desperate, they got me in at 230, I was there several hours ( testing) and then they sent me home with a solid treatment plan that DID NOT INCLUDE DOPING MY DOG ALL UP! I am not anti-drug. But~ I had a miserable little dude and now he is still stressed but we will be moving in a direction to help him. THANK YOU AGAIN!!!!

She is very thorough in her examination and makes follow-up phone calls with lab results or any concerns that need to be discussed. We can also only say great things about their boarding! NEVER have our dogs gotten kennel cough. The kennels are kept very clean. The staff are very loving and compassionate to our dogs. We never worry about leaving our dogs while we are gone. Our dogs are family to us and we wouldn't take them any where else.

I have never been to the Angel Animal Hospital, however I know the generosity and kind spirit of the people in this place. Our church, Lawrence United Methodist, hosted the funeral service for a veteran who had no family or friends. Word got out and more than 1,000 people showed up. It made the local and national news and John and Anna were so touched that they wrote the church a generous check to support the ministry. I live in Lawrence but you better believe I am taking my dog to Angel Animal Hospital!

We effortlessly switched to Angel based upon outstanding recommendations from multiple friends (who also switched from the same vet!). Our dog's ear infection was cleared after a week of treatment, whereas it was not getting better after over a year from her previous vet. I literally cannot say enough good things about this place. Love the staff and the facility is always clean. Pricing is on the higher side and sometimes they for get to tell you about follow up visits so make sure you ask.

The facility is very nice as are the staff and Vets. Their prices feel extraordinarily high and they always try to up-sell like a stereotypical used car salesman.

I don't even want to give this place one star. I am so upset. I will never go back to this place We took our baby to this place thinking they would take care of him, instead the care was not on him but how much money they could get. Over 600.00 later after we had to go back two times in the same day, they tell us we have to go to a 24 hours hospital. I thought this was a hospital. Ok so we do that and the hospital we take it to had to do the same test because the text Animal hospital did is not reliable they tell us and they don't use this test. Please pray for my dog Basil, he is so sick. He suffered on the floor of this place while to much talking was being done and he wasn't given priority. So sad. I had a bad experience. I just don't want someone else to go through this. Maybe it was because he is so sick they couldn't handle it, but don't say you are a hospital.

Stay away ..this place is a rip off! We spent $450 for spaying our puppy which is double than what other places charge ..after the surgery they put a wrong size head cone for her.. she has been tripping and falling over trying to walk with it, so when we called they asked us to come pick up a smaller size .. when we went to pick it up the lady says it will be $19.75! I mean, you spend a fortune for a surgery and they charge you extra for a piece of plastic! It’s not our fault they ran out of the size ! Never going back there again.
