DO NOT GO HERE. most unprofessional vet office i’ve ever experienced. I once took my dog in, concerned about what looked like a crack in her tooth and they ASSURED ME it was nothing and she was fine. Now almost a year later, that same tooth is abscessed and my dog will likely lose the tooth. they also flat out LIED to my face and told me that a 3 year rabies vaccine doesn’t exist, which is FALSE. this place is a joke. if you care about your pets at all I recommend staying far away from here.

I really like this place, especially Dr. Jamie Schertz. She takes the time to explain what is going on with my animal, and is kind and loving towards all of my pets. She treats them the way I treat my own pets, which means the world to me. She is also accommodating to my schedule when I've needed it, and that is a great help as well. The compaction that he shows toward my animals is unbelievable. When, I had to put my golden retriever, Jager put down was the hardest thing I ever had to do!! Dr.. Matt was there for me. My daughter even beings my grand-puppy from Chicago to see Dr. Matt. Plus a friend of hers is having their dog come do for Dr. Matt to perform surgery on it.

This place is great.. My grandparents started going here in 1969 when they 1st opened. My grandma said Dr. Bussen was the 1st vet that seemed like he actually cared about the animals, and our whole family has been going there ever since. His son and all the other vets are just wonderful and make you feel at ease in the worst of times.. Even sent a greeting card to express there condolences when our last animal died.. These guys level of compassion is next level and they always have your pets care come 1st.. And your wallet 2nd.. Would never take my dogs anywhere else.. Thank you guys.. The staff is friendly and helpful, the facility is clean, and the doctors are compassionate. Dr. Matt has been with us through an eye issue and a dog bite. We love town and country. We have been taking our dogs (many different breeds and sizes of dogs) here for their medical care for over 20 years. They have truly provided what I believe is the best per medical care available. The staff is very compassionate when the difficult decision lands in front of you. Appointments are preferred, but if you seriously have an emergency they do everything possible to get you in. Our dogs love all of the doctors here, but especially Dr. Matt. We highly recommend this place for your pet care!

My sister found a litter of stray kittens. I decided to keep one. I went to Town and Country to have her checked out since she was a stray, I knew nothing about her. The vet told me her approximate age, gave me a free bag of kitten food, administered her first vaccine, cleaned out her ears (she had ear mites), gave us a free tube of ear mite remover cream, a free kitten toothbrush, free kitten toy and provided Oakley (the kitten) with loving and kind care that she needed. I will definitely be going back for her follow ups! Very pleased! P:S. ALL of this only costed me $42 in total!

We love Dr. Schertz here, and actually transferred all our pets here from other vets, because of how she cared for one of ours in an emergency several years ago. Prices are maybe a bit pricier than some other places in town but so worth it for the attention to detail and care. We like that they have Saturday morning appointments, and that they do walk-ins too. You can request a Dr. if you have a preference, which is nice. In the event of an emergency, they are affiliated with the emergency clinic, and can follow the continuation of care seamlessly. The only reason I marked them a 4/5 is because they started a new policy where you can no longer set up a payment plan to pay off your bill in monthly installments. ALL routine visits are due upfront now. I do believe they still do payment plans for things like surgeries and more emergency things, but check with them. Dr. Schertz and Dr. Bussen (Jr.) are the ones we've been happier with, but everybody has their own preference.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. Every single person cares and is willing to help you and your pet out, no matter what. Every single time we visit, we receive optimal care. I never have any issues with scheduling appointments as I can usually get seen the day I call to schedule. I am leaving the area and I am very sad to leave this place behind. I felt very welcome from day 1. I don't think any animal hospital or veterinarian facility can live up to this place!

I have been coming to Dr. Goekner since 1998-99. He is absolutely the best in my opinion. He is extremely competent and knowledgeable, and truly loves his work! He has been there for me & all my babies from adoption, birth, to crossing the rainbow bridge with a few. I will not use another vet. I've been breeding since 1993 and have had many experiences with other vets, and vet clinics, etc. Town & Country is clean, friendly, and accommodating whenever possible.

All i can say is i think Town and Country Animal hospital is the best. Very reasonable and friendly. The only one note is my preference and for legitimate reasons is i always go to Dr Schertz. She is one of the BEST dr's there and will not lie to you like i had another dr there in past do and she seems to be very good at her bedside manner and very competent.

I went in to have my cat vaccinated during walk-in hours a few saturdays ago. Great customer service from those at the front counter. Despite being fairly busy, the wait was not very long. The veteranarian was very kind and genuinely seemed concerned with the well-being of my cat. On top of all this, the price was excellent compared to other places in town. Can't comment on repeat medical care, but well worth it for a simple vaccine. Will be returning should the need arise.
