We have been going here with our dog for the past 18 years. Doctor Adam Szpindor was our doctor almost all the time and was great! Definitly the best place to go with your dog. All the doctors we had (when Dr. Szpindor wasn't available) were great too. The newly remodeled building is beautiful and the waiting time is short. They also treat your pet great, with passion and heart. Overall it was a great experinece and recently a different doctor (Dr.Stan Kaleta) was great too! They gave our dog everything he needed. THEY GAVE MY DOG THE WRONG MEDICINE THAT GAVED HER REALLY BAD SEIZURES! Don't take your dog here, my dog alms dies from the medicine they gave her. I ended up taking my dog here 3 times because she was sick and we didn't know what was wrong with her, she would just lay in bed all day and cry. The doctor (Angelica) and the other girl doctor just said something was wrong with her spine and prescribed her new medicine every time. my dog would get even sicker. she would have horrible seizures. as soon as we stopped giving her this medicine she started getting better. If you truly care for your dog don't take it here.

TERRIBLE!!! 11 years of being a customer/patient means NOTHING! The one time in 11 years that my dog needs urgent care, i walk in without an appointment and receptionist says THEY CANNOT take walk ins because the wait is to long. Come back in 5 days. THAT'S HOW YOU TREAT A CUSTOMER OF 11 YEARS WITH A VERY SICK DOG??? No. Never again. Next time your pet is going to get sick make sure you know 10 days ahead of time. Otherwise be ready to be turned away.

I took my dogs here for their yearly vaccinations. I left them there and they said they were going to call me when they were ready for pick up. I got the call that my dogs were ready, I went to pick them up and I still waited 30 min. When it was time to pay I still had to wait because the whole staff had to run outside to see a dead dog. Why did the whole staff have to go out there!! There should be one person at register, one taking care of ppl walking in and so on. I paid and they gave me the medication for my dogs and left. When I got home I got a phone call that they forgot to give me one of my dogs medications...Really how UNORGANIZED & UNPROFESSIONAL. I was upset for the long wait after being told they were ready. And on top of that forgetting to give me an important medication. I gave this place a second chance but not any more. If you plan on taking your pet here, plan for a long trip. Good luck.

First time client. My husband had our brand new puppy and my 3 year old. My three year old had to pee so my hubby had to make a pit stop making them late for our appointment by 7 min. We were told that they could not see us, or be treated as a walk in and wait two hours. A bit excessive, oh well guess we'll find a Vet with a bit more compassion.

I came here because my dog had bloat and a skin infection bc she’s getting older I told the vet and she said she’ll do a ultrasound and blood test cool fine she comes back and tells me my dogs fine it’s shes fat . I know my dog and I know bloat but I trusted her PROFESSIONAL opinion so I let it go couple days go past by same thing even with medication two weeks goes by now she has a round ball on her stomach and she’s still bloated they took 200$ dollars from me and my dog is STILL sick even worse now smh they rush people in and out so they can get your money and when you call to ask questions they’re quick to get you off the phone. Idk how I feel about this place anymore. In person they seem ok. But over the phone I get alot of "ums" and "I don't know". I was promised a phone call and the emailed results of my dog's test today. The call didn't come in until 7:03 with a voicemail saying they would be done for the day and call tomorrow. and when I tried calling right after, the phone was no longer picked up. Oh and once again was not sent the emailed results of my dog's tests. I can understand that a place that accepts walk ins can get busy. But it's unprofessional to leave your customers hanging because of it. If the place gets overwhelming then maybe they should reconsider having a limit as too how many walk ins they take. I thought I had found the perfect vet but idk

Horrible place the first time i went there the doctor didnt want to see my dogs and one of them had stiches but she didnt check the rest of my dog and he had another wound and got infected and then she told us it was going to be 150 to 170 then she was saying it was going to be 300 i really think they only care about your money not the dogs health

My dog had hurt his nail and it had to get yanked out, anesthesia, pain meds and all. I didn't have the enough amount of money so as I was leaving they asked me how much I had and I told them. They told me that they were going to do it but it wasn't going to cover the pain medicine and I felt so thankful because my dog was clearly in pain. So they took him in and then I heard him cry in so much pain. Well they didn't tell me they were not going to put anesthesia since I didn't give them the full amount. They didn't even put the cone so he wouldn't pick on his bandage they had terribly put on. It was terrible! Clearly they care for your money and not your beloved pets! Never ever will I go there again!

I brought one of my dogs in because she was not feeling good they had me wait in one of the rooms for almost a whole hour. Just to tell me they can't figure out what was wrong with her. Then they offered her to stay so they can monitor overnight. But asking the right questions finding out that they will monitor your pet during the day not at night there are no staff there at night no doctors or anything that's why they close. If it's animal hospital it should be open 24 hours. but there will be no one there at night. How was is that monitoring your pet. I still had to pay for a visit that they still did not know what was wrong with her. I took her to another veterinarian emergency hospital in the matter of five minutes they told me what was wrong with her I do not recommend this place at all! Please save your pet and take them to another one.

I recently moved from the North side and found it necessary to find a new veterinarian closer to home that was comparable to my old vet, wouldn't break my budget and most importantly, was certified by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA). I also am not a fan of the big corporate vet offices. Well, I hit the jackpot with Pulaski Animal Hospital. I have brought my little fur babies there on 3 separate occasions, seen 3 different doctors and have been totally satisfied. Plus, they are way less costly than my other vet. The only downside is that you may have a longer wait time as a walk-in but the reception room is large and clean and the staff is always courteous. FYI: When I had an appointment I was seen in a timely fashion.

First I would like to say that I do like the Vets at Pulaski Animal, however the reception desk staff needs some help. They have never, in my opinion been very friendly but after this evening I am not sure that I want to go back ever again regardless of how nice the Vets are. I have two dogs and over the weekend my little Haley passed away. Since it was the weekend I had to take her to Berwyn Emergency. I stopped in at Pulaski Animal this evening to get a heartworm pill for my other dog Starr and since I was there I also wanted to tell them that Haley passed away. When I did the girl at the reception counter never even uttered the five little words that would make me want to go back in the future with my other dog Starr, those words should have been "I'm sorry for your loss". Seems like common sense to me and common courtesy but apparently this girl had neither. I will have to think long and hard as to if I am going to continue taking Starr to this clinic. One more thing that did puzzle me in the past at this clinic, is that when my dogs got their shots in May, they took them out of the exam room to do the heartworm test & shots. My old Vet did it right there in the room. I wonder now just why they didn't do it right there like my old Vet.

I came to this place because my dog was injured. He had a bite wound, I asked the receptionist if they would be able to check him and they said it would be a 2 hour wait since it was a walk in. If it was a really bad injury he wouldn’t have been as stable as he was. I decided to stay because the injury was not severe. Many people after me had appointments and many were doing walk ins, and were going before me which I thought was not fair at all! They did not check on the dog knowing he had been bitten and could have been maybe been injured internally (thankfully not!) THREE hours had passed and I was still waiting, which was ridiculous!

Horrible, I had a stray that visits me ,he showed up with a very bad infection. I called this place for an appointment. They said booked for 10 days but if you come in off the street wait may be up to 2 hours. So I left work early to try to help this cat. I get there 4 hours before closing and they tell me they can't see the cat. There were only 3 people (animals) waiting. Didn't even care if the cat was dying. Not at all. Found better place near by Marquette animal hospital no upsale there, in and out fast and cheaper. Stay away from Pulaski animal hospital. They do not care about your animal, I've read the reviews and it seems like there's a high mortality rate there. I'm sure this will get deleted but I had to put it out there. I used Pulaski in the past for my pets never again. I was just trying to help a stray and they didn't care.
