We can't speak highly enough of the staff and their compassion. We have been taking our dogs here since we moved to the area. Initially we went because of the great hours and ease of getting an appointment. We will continue to go to them for the great staff and service. They went above and beyond when we had to put one of our dogs down, especially Dr. Shule.

We are in the process of moving, and we will miss Animal Hospital of Woodstock. The best care we've had for our cats of any place we lived. We had a cat, Jill, who in her last years was making almost monthly visits as her health deteriorated. Once her vitals were, in the vets words, "Not compatible with life". Jill's fight and the vet and staff's care pulled her back. AHW gave her a dozen lives, not just 9. When it was her time, it was moving to see the staff-like client advocate Elizabeth-crying as hard as we were over her loss. Another cat, Gary, had a tumor removed that all standard test showed it to be benign, but the vet was not as sure. We consented to additional testing, and it turned out to be a very aggressive cancer. It was sad to lose Gary, but the testing saved him weeks/months of suffering. These vets don't just look at charts and number--they look at the animal and the signs a test might miss. Good vets, even better people.

I began going here when my pit bull was 2 years old. The vets and assistants have always done everything in their power to make my furry baby and myself feel comfortable through the many years I took him here. I was always the frantic worry wart kind of person when it came to anything with my dog. Later on in his life my dog was diagnosed with cancer. The whole staff, especially doctor Chris, was extremely caring and friendly through the whole process. Answering my millions of questions without any frustrations or rushing to get off the phone. They truly care and understand what it’s like to have a pet and love a pet as a family member. I even got multiple calls after having to put my dog down just to check in on me and tell me they were there for me. I will never take any of my animals anywhere else. They helped me through one of the hardest experiences of my life and for that I’m forever grateful

I'll never go here again. 4 years ago, they misdiagnosed our cat; by the time we found out it was cancer it was too late. All of the signs were there for them to be able to diagnose liver cancer (elevated blood levels, filled void in x-ray), but they shrugged it of as a temporary sickness and we very indifferent about figuring it out. Not until weeks later, when insisted that thet figure out was wrong, did we get a proper diagnosis. I often wonder if we would still have our buddy Rizza had they caught it sooner.

These wonderful caring people take care of three of my precious dogs. I recently had an emergency where unfortunately one of my dogs had a cross Rainbow Bridge. They were sensitive unprofessional and help me through that awful moment. They did everything they could to make sure my dog was comfortable and that I was okay. I highly recommend them.

On my 1st visit I took my cat in for a declaw and the results were awesome he felt great within days. And recently had to go again for a check up and not once did he yowl or show signs of being uncomfortable. He actually laid on the floor relaxed as can be and even rolled around. So I guess I am not changing vets anytime soon. *The staff is super nice*

As a senior on SSDI I must choose wisely. As I love my puppy as we all do I choose these fine doctors and staff. I just was made aware of a 10% discount for seniors. Every little bit helps. Their care and compassion for animals is heartfelt and appreciated.
