This is the most fantastic vet clinic ever. After being referred to them from another vet, we found them to be the down home caring compassionate vet we knew and loved in Montana when the vet was your friend and neighbor. Dr. Woodington and his staff are some of the greatest people I have ever met in the animal care field. All three of my dogs have seen them from vaccines to ACL tears. I love the atmosphere; how well they help your pet feel comfortable because let's face it, most pets hate going to the V-E-T. Their rates are better than most offices, as well, which makes it easier to do more for your pet than some places will allow. Thank you to you all for helping keep our pets healthy!

I positively love this clinic! Dr. Witt and Dr. Woodington are both kind and caring, and the staff is just amazing, they recognize you and your pet when you walk in the door. They are affectionate and caring people. It is obvious that everyone in this office loves animals. I am so happy I found them. They are also very affordable. THANK YOU TO EVERYONE AT WOODINGTON!!! I have found my forever vet clinic! I also would like to add, we are babysitting my son's lab. He had a large blood blister that broke and we could not get it to stop bleeding, I called his regular vet who said they did not have time to see him. I called Dr. Woodington because I take my dog to him. They said, bring him down but that we might have to wait a little while. We went right down and Dr. Woodington saw him immediately. I would not go to any other vet.

Our 11 year old dog needed surgery for a ruptured salivary gland. They got us in ASAP. Also to get our dog into surgery the next day they asked another client if she could change her scheduled wellness check up. She said yes! Woodington did an amazing job and our old dog should have a few more good years left. And thanks to the other client for giving up her spot. We really appreciated it.

I have been taking my Cavilear King Charles to Woodington from day one after he was recommended by my neighbor. I can not say enough about their compassion and professionalism. There have even been times I have called the office to ask a question about my pet and Dr. Woodington actually got on the phone to discuss my concerns. Who does that anymore? We brought our Lady in here for the first time this morning and saw Dr. Witt. We moved in to the area a little over a year ago, and hadn't yet found a vet that we were happy with. The last place we tried was pretty traumatic for all of us, as Lady was forcefully flipped on to her side to check out her leg, and she slipped on the floors several times. Our experience at Woodington could not have been more different! We loved that the floors were non-slip (so good for our big 11.5 year old girl with a sore leg), and that the exam room was so large. Lady got about ten minutes with just her people in the exam room to sniff around and get comfy before Dr. Witt came in and started the exam. This was so helpful as it allowed her to relax and get some nervous energy out. Dr. Witt was great with Lady and gentle in the exam. Lady didn't have to do anything she didn't want to. I also loved that Dr. Witt was very accommodating to my natural approach to things and didn't try to push any meds on us. I hope that Lady stays healthy enough to not need to come back for a long time, but at least now I know that we have found our local vet!!

We absolutely love Woodington Vet. One of our pups, now 7, has been seeing Dr Witt since she was 4 months old. When she left the office we first saw her at we were so disappointed with every veterinarian we saw after. For that reason, we tracked her down and have been loyal patients ever since. Dr. Woodington is such a great guy! He really cares about his furry patients, but he also really cares about people! He took the time to genuinely greet me and welcome me into the clinic. Also, his staff is very friendly and welcoming as well! The reason why I continue to come back here with my dog, is because I feel like Dr. Woodington and his staff are kind compassionate people who really care about what they do. I don't even live in Eagle, but the commute is always worth it!

I searched a very long time for a high quality veterinarian that was caring, fairly priced, and honest. I love taking my dog to Woodington Vet because they met all of those qualifications, and more. At other clinics my dog would refuse to go inside and was fearful of the exam rooms. At this office she walks in with her tail wagging, eager to be greeted and spoiled during her visit. Dr. Witt and the entire staff showed a lot of compassion to our little Yorkie who needed a couple of teeth pulled. Everything went well and our little dog was doing great right after the surgery and healed up quickly. We were glad to find a veterinarian service who immediately treated us and our pet as top priority and listened to all of our concerns patiently. No rushing or treating us as just another number. My elderly cat has been suffering from a painful condition for a month and a half and Dr. Woodington has been absolutely incapable of diagnosing him. After a month of expensive pointless tests I told Dr. Woodington that THIS IS A SERIOUS CONDITION AND WE HAVE TO DO SOMETHING. His suggestion? 'Let's try a different brand of fifty dollar a bag cat food'. A week later I called and suggested we run a fecal test and guess what? It was positive for a condition which was treatable. Why hadn't we done that a month ago? Because Dr. Woodington is incapable of doing a differential diagnosis. This is an ongoing problem and I've made an appointment with a cat specialist for a long term treatment plan. In the meantime his symptoms (which are extremely painful) came back and I asked Dr. Woodington to refill the prescription that had helped him before. He flat out lied. Made up one excuse after another because he just didn't want to help me and he didn't care that my beautiful cat was in pain. For simple stuff like getting annual shots or check-ups he's fine. But he absolutely cannot diagnose a complex problem. And he's doesn't care about your pets suffering. He's the worst vet I've ever been to.

We've been using Woodington Vet Clinic for close to 5 years now. We use them for large animals (horses and cows) and small animals (cats and dogs) and have had nothing BUT great service and care from Dr. Woodington, Dr. Witt, and the always helpful and patient staff. We've used them from farm calls to office visits and preventative health care the some very difficult services, and throughout, Matt and his staff have been wonderful. We highly recommend Matt, Erin and the clinic team. They're awesome.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!!!!!!! I got caught in road construction and walked in 4 minutes late to the appointment and they CANCELLED ME. No I do don't want to reschedule after loading my pet up and driving all the way there to be turned away, I'm sorry but my time is valuable as well. From the time I started going to this vet I had my reservations, but due to the fact that I knew they were a new practice, in terms of the new vet, and there were no major issues, I continued to give them the benefit of the doubt. There were times from the beginning when I felt that the answers I was given were not only uninformed, but frankly, lazy. Example: asking if my dog’s nails could be trimmed and being told that they weren’t too long, when it was clear to me and to anyone else that my dog was in need of a nail trim. However, being that my dog has dark nails, it was clear to me that this was the vet not wanting to risk getting the quick. That is of course a valid concern, but it is also something you go to a professional to handle. It is also something that they did not say out right, but was very clearly the case. On cases such as this, and many others, I only even received information and answers after I suggested what the situation could be, and it was confirmed by the vet. I should not be the person providing answers to questions. I should be there to get professional answers. However, this review is coming after a very upsetting experience That is far more specific than any of those little instances leading up to it. I have a long-haired dachshund Who is 4 1/2 years old. He has awful breath, and I had spoken to the vet on several occasions about this over the past year and finally discussed the option of getting his teeth cleaned. The vet said he had a generally fairly clean mouth but had an entire conversation with me about how it was a good idea to have them cleaned because of the many health risks associated with this breed, that come from mouth problems later in life. I scheduled the cleaning and was frankly pretty nervous about it, given the risks associated with anesthesia, but after my discussions with the vet I was confident I was doing the right thing. I brought in my dog as scheduled and then received a phone call telling me that there was no need for a teeth cleaning and that my dog’s mouth was clean. Yes, I had scheduled my entire day around this, but that’s not what was upsetting. What was upsetting is that I was then told, when asking more about this and my subsequent confusion, if it was no longer true that it was in the best interest of my dog to keep his mouth preemptively cleaned of the “minor plaque“ so as to avoid having to do this when it is “really necessary“ and potentially causing a real health concern. The response I got was that I would be putting my dog at risk by putting him under anesthesia if I were to choose to do the cleaning, but could still do it if I wanted to. I was left so confused and feeling like if I did one thing I had previously been told would be in the best interest of my pets long-term health, I would actually be putting him at risk for potential harm. The whole thing was handled completely unprofessionally and I have a totally sick feeling in my stomach about the whole thing. Suffice it to say I will not be returning and I will be finding a vet that is more consistent, communicative and confident in their decision-making. I go to a professional for those things, as these are not decisions I am able to make on my own, not having the education or licensing associated with being a professional veterinarian.
