I took both of my cats into this vet. In less than 12 hours, both cats were spayed and neutered and back home in their comfortable bed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The prices are among the lowest in town. This place is more of a big animal facility but they also do small animal procedures. They didn't try to talk me into doing a whole bunch of extra procedures and I even got an update call after the surgeries were done. I will bring my animals back to this vet again. I highly recommend them!

You can tell a lot about a person by how they treat an animal and how animals respond to them. The staff here is great. We got our rescued cat neutered and they were very kind and helpful. And the surgery went off great. I think there's a lot of people that can do vet work, so the kindness and care is what sets them apart for me.

Great experience! My mom's dog was in need of immediate care after being involved in a scuffle with another dog. We called numerous places that were either unwilling to work with her financial situation or couldn't see her dog for another day or two. Willowcreek stepped right up and got us in, doing everything in their power to address concerns about cost. The staff were wonderful! The Vet was interested in treating the dog in the least invasive, cost conscious way all while allowing for the dog to receive the best care possible. The staff also went out of their way to help my mom feel comfortable leaving the dog for care as she was quite upset with the situation.

We have seen the doctors at Willowcreek on more than one occasion and all have been after hours visits. They went out of their way to come in to the office from out of town and were genuinely concerned about getting our dog nursed back to health. They ended up taking our dog home with them so that they could keep an eye on her through the night, for the next couple of nights. When we left her with them we were not very hopeful. She was very sick. They called to update us on her status everyday. Sometimes multiple times in a day just to reassure us. Two days later we went back to pick her up and she came running out as if she was a brand new pup! She was a completely different dog from who she was two days earlier! It came time to pay and I thought to myself, "oh gosh....this is NOT going to be pretty!" 24 hour care at their house and in the office during the day for two full days. A prescription. Lamp shade on the head. I thought sure it was going to cost an arm and a leg! I have to say....I was shocked. They were more than fair with us! Every time weve been in theyve been one of the most reasonably priced in town. Not to mention hands down the best care we could have asked for! The only thing I could complain about is that it was definately not the cleanest. Cant have it all though! Our dog was happy and on the road to recovery! I would highly recommend them any day of the week!!

Willow creek is the best animal hospital in Idaho Falls, they have taken care of our pets as if they were their own pets.

The vet was called to see a 31 year old horse with an impaction colic. Instead of discussing the horses age and quality of life with the owner, the vet treated the horse, removed several teeth and stuck the owner with a $1300 bill. Granted he solved the colic problem, but because the consequences of pulling the horses teeth instead of euthanizing him were not discussed with the owner, now the owner has to feed this horse pellets soaked in water in Idaho during the winter without them freezing. As a result, this horse is hungry all of the time. If the vet had discussed the probable outcome of treating the colic in the first place and of pulling the teeth, the owner would not have had a $1300 bill or the subsequent increase in horse boarding costs. I think this is a reflection of poor professional ethics on the vets part.

I really had high hopes for this place after reading all the great reviews, but I don't plan on going back. Both times I went there they said they didn't have any room so they just took my dog to the back, without letting me go with her. So I have no idea what they did, how they were treating her. The second time, she was in labor, poor dog was probably scared to death. (I was grateful they let me bring her in with such short notice, the 2nd time, though.) My dog ended up having to have a c-section. They said they would call me with an update on her surgery. 2 hours pass and I finally have to call them. They said surgery went good, puppies are good. I Wanted to know how many puppies made it and they didn't know. (I guess They didn't want to go look?) They said they would call me in 30 minutes for a better update. 2 hours pass and I have to call them again to see what's going on and when I can pick up my dogs. I am grateful for the doctors, but for paying as much as I did, it was pretty stressful not ever knowing what was going on.
