So glad I found this vet! I adopted a dog from the shelter about a month ago and he developed an infection at his neuter site 3 weeks after surgery. We just moved to the Middleton area, and did not have an established vet yet. This was the only vet I called that could fit me in last minute on a Friday. Dr Zach and all of his staff were very kind and professional. I actually spent a lot less than I thought I would have to for a visit plus a round of antibiotics. As we have several rescue pets, this will be our go-to practice. Loki says, "Thanks!"

I want to thank Dr. Bruneel for the gentle care he has taken with my best friends, Mike and General, over the years we've lived in Star.. A loss of family (our pets are family members) is devastating and his being there meant everything to us. I also want to thank Dr. Porter. They are the best. ❤

We went to Star Veterinary Clinic to have emergency stitches for our dog. The incident happened on Friday at about 4 o'clock, so we called ahead of time knowing she'd need stitches to see if they would take her (since they close at 5). We got her there at 4:40 and she had 20 stitches put in within an hour. That bill was $400, I'm not sure how reasonable that is, but I assume it was higher because it was after hours/etc. The vet had told us to come back in a week to have the stitches removed. This is where my frustration lies. Yesterday we made an appointment to have the stitches removed at 11:30 today. During my lunch break at work today, I drove home, picked my dog up, and drove 25 minutes one way to the vet. Once I arrived I was greeted by the staff and told "we looked at your paperwork and realized she isn't due to have the stitches removed until NEXT Friday". I received NO phone calls to cancel today's appointment and there was no apology from the staff for the inconvenience or lack of effort in trying to reach me before wasting my time. Although the staff at Star Veterinary Clinic are friendly, that doesn't make up for the lack of respect for well paying customer's time. I hope they reflect on their performance and try to improve their customer's experience. Perhaps a standard form for what care will be needed after stitches/etc. stating how long until stitches need removed would be helpful to give to patients after their treatment to avoid confusion. At least, that's standard practice other vet offices I've used. I will not go to this clinic in the future.

Nice enough people but they couldn't help my dog. Gave me a number to a specialist who couldn't see us for 2 months. No thank you, that's just not good enough. We took her to a different vet in Boise and they were able to treat her. Good news she is on the mend.

My visit was very pleasant and I was treated with extreme compassion after having to put my cat to sleep. And felt comfortable enough to have other cat spayed the same day . The receptionist even called after her surgery to let me know how she was doing.

We moved here from Texas and one of our dogs started to limp right before we moved. The staff scheduled appointment quickly to address pain and underlying issue. Could not be happier with all the staff. Sweet smart professionals! Finding them has made moving and taking care of our fur baby less stressful. Highly recommend this clinic.

Dr. Bruneel was very patient, helpful and attentive to our little pup, Ferguson. He quickly diagnosed his ear infection and his treatment was effective. He made a suggested for a different kind of food to help him drop a few pounds. I would highly recommend this clinic!

I have been going to Star Veterinary now for seven years, and wouldn't think of going anywhere else! My 4 four footed "kids" love "Dr. B" (Zach)..and he's great with them. He also has a wonderful assistant (Jen) who is always a pleasure to talk to. If you are looking for a knowledgeable Veterinarian who isn't "high pressure".. then you need to give these guys a try.

Star Vet took excellent care of my 7 year old chihuahua. His breath has been just awful. Turns out he needed 16 teeth pulled. I was so impressed with the gentle care and genuine concern for him provided by the whole staff. Prince is doing amazing 3 days later. And we are enjoying his new breath and how pearly white his remaining teeth are.

When I visit my daughter in Star,ID my dog, named Dawg, gets a treat. A bath and the nails and if needed a check up. The girls take good care of him. I certainly enjoy the results. So if you're traveling through Star and your best friend needs some TLC, go for it.

I take all my pets to Star Vet Clinic anytime they're sick. Doc Zak and his staff are absolutely wonderful. I can get an appointment anytime I need it to fit my schedule, the pricing is as I would expect, and I never feel like i'm being rushed out of the clinic until my questions are answered.

This vet clinic was very helpful with branding a star in my dogs left lower thigh so if you are looking for a vet clinic that will do this for you this is just the right place, but besides that I would not recommend this vet. I loved this office as soon as I walked in. From the girls at the front desk who greeted me and my 2 fur babies. To the Veterinarian that came in to consult for their teeth cleaning. He was very through about what he would be doing and gave them a complete check up. And they got them both in ASAP. Very satisfied. This will be they’re forever Vets Office. We moved to Star about 18 months ago with 2 cats, one was 6 and the other 12 years old. After being here for a short time, our older cat, Kitty" started losing weight and walking awkwardly. Being new to the area and wanting to support local businesses, we went to Star Veterinary Clinic which is just down the road. After a brief exam on our old guy and a little blood work, Dr. Z discovered that "Kitty" was diabetic and prescribed a health plan with insulin shots twice a day. After a brief lesson on how to give shots, we jumped right in and today, "Kitty" is back to being himself. He's gained weight, walking normal and enjoying a fine quality of life. As for Dr. Z, he's on our Christmas list forever, he's a fine Vet and a compassionate person, we wouldn't go any where else for the care of our 2 cats. Art & Corrine Bush
