I’ve been with them for years and things were great. Just lost our cat and I spent a LOT of money to figure out the cause of death. No answer as to why and come to find out they used an antibiotic shot instead of prescribing pills like normal. They say the shot has no risk but after looking at several sources online I am still not convinced it was the best route for our cat. They didn’t give us the option for oral antibiotics and just gave her the shot. They accept no responsibility that they should have let us know our options. The situation was handled insanely terrible and I’ll be making sure I never return along as recommending those I know to not take their animals to these vets after the way I was treated and the unfair treatment on my pet.

Great vet clinic. We took our cat their for her yearly shots and to get her fixed. South Fork has great staff who know their stuff and low prices. I was a little skeptical about the lower price to fix our cat but comparing where they patched her up after to other clinics that my friends have taken their cats to, South Fork did they best job by far. Our cat is in very little to no pain, they did a good job patching her up so she doesn't lick at it, and the day after she was fixed she was back to running and jumping just like normal. I highly recommend this place!

We were traveling through the area on a road trip and found South Fork Vet through Google. The reviews were amazing and true! They got us in ASAP, were super friendly and caring. Their prices were also very reasonable. Highly recommend coming here.

I have seen improvement in the efficiency and attitude of the front desk staff over the last few months. All the doctors seem to be very knowledgeable but their are two in particular that I love and request for my babies to been seen by. Dr. Stone (who is no longer there, sad) and Dr. Bramwell. I drive from Idaho Falls to visit this clinic because I trust my pets to be in there care!

Dr Martin was my dogs Dr. And he did an incredible job. He gave detailed description of what was going on with my dog Kratos and he laid out all the options and gave the option of what he would do if his dog were in my dogs situation. He ended up operating on Kratos and saved him. I will only go here from now on. They are the model of what a Veterinarian should be.

The billing on emergency procedures needs a different guidline set considering the price and unexpected timing of the issue. I recently bought my families home, so as everyone knows about what buying home does to your credit scores. So the care credit wasn't an option for us. I offered $200 up front and my checking accout information so the remaining $390 could be pulled 6 days after on my next pay roll. I figured they had some heart and with what i offered it would be ok because the vet i prefer to use alows it. You told no cant do it and if u cant pay ill have to keep your dog and charge a boarding fee until you pay in full. I hope you needed that money more than me because of the circumstances i dont fuel money to get to work in which i drive 130 miles a day for, i cant provide food for my children or my spouse and dogs. I do understand why you rules in order. I think you have done awesome work on my dogs. Your prices are good for scheduled visits and i understand why emergency is more. Seeing how there is no room to help families you have lost us as a client and i will not be shy to share my opinions of this facility with my co-workers, family, and friends.

They charged me for a sonogram on my little dog and said that they didn't find anything alarming and sent us home with steroids and antibiotics, two weeks later I took my dog into another clinic,because she was acting the same but worse, and they did another sonogram and found her riddled with cancer and we had to put her down! it turns out that they gave her the wrong treatment for what they said was adisens disease, they don't treat that disease with steroids, I don't trust south fork!

After a frustrating experience yesterday, that left a client very angry and disrespected by a staff member, I am impressed with the owner and vets at this office. Myself and one of my clients received a very apologetic phone call from the owner of the practice expressing how sorry he felt and how he will swiftly fix the problem we had. Very impressed with the professionalism and individual attention they paid to us today with taking time out of their schedule to apologize for an altercation.

Last week, our cat suddenly became very sick. At first, we weren't sure what was wrong, but after a few days they found that she had swallowed a string which was implanting itself into her bowels. Without southfork my kitty would not be here with us today! They were so kind and patient and did every thing they possibly could to help us. They fit us in on short notice whenever we needed, even getting her in for a same day surgery. They were kind and helped us do everything we could without charging us an arm and a leg. They were so kind every time i called to check on her or ask questions, as if they knew what stress and worry I was feeling. I will never go anywhere else for any of my animals! Southfork is definitely the best place to go!
