Our dogs have always been happy to visit OPH, never afraid. They provide excellent care and keep track of when and what immunizations are needed and send timely reminders. I went in for the first time today with our dog Ray. Everyone was so friendly right from the get go. You are always a little scared when seeing a vet because the cost can be ridiculous sometimes but this place was so great about keeping you informed step by step of what everything was going to cost. Verifying every charge with you before proceeding and keeping you in the light as to every move taken. I figured I would walk out with a huge fee but found it to be more than affordable at only 110.00 for exams, light boarding, medication injections and meds to take home. I paid more than that for a first visit fee before! Thanks for the great service, affordable fees and getting our little Ray fixed up!

I am very happy with Orchards Pet Hospital. I take my new puppy there for her shots and recently had her spayed. The staff is so friendly and obviously love animals. My dog Jack had a abscessed tooth, we brought him in and they got him in the same day to pull his tooth. The staff was very professional and informing. He even got a bath and his nails clipped (which was a nice surprise!) I would recommend going to Orchards Pet Hospital! Dr. Panozzo is one of the most caring and kind veterinarians I have known. She always has time to listen to my concerns about my dog. She will go above and beyond to explain treatments, prices, medication options, etc. She approaches a medical problem with the least invasive and stressful approach for my dog when possible...and therefore less stress for the owner. Her staff are very helpful and seem to genuinely want the best for my dog. 10 Star doctor and clinic.

Orchards Pet Hospital is my normal veterinary office, but tonight since I had an after-hours emergency I called Southway Animal Clinic because I (mistakenly) though they were the big veterinary office in town and that they'd likely have an after-hours vet on staff at their office for emergencies. I placed the call to Southway at 8:16 P.M. and the answering service told me that Dr. Meyers at Riverview was on-call for the night and that Dr. Meyers would call me after he (the receptionist) gave him the message. Thinking he would call back shortly I started driving to Clarkston. When I still hadn't gotten a call back at 8:40 P.M. I called Orchards Pet Hospital (which I should have done from the start!). The same answering service receptionist answered and told me that he would relay the message to the person on call at Orchards Pet Hospital. About 60 seconds later I got a call back from Wendy at Orchards Pet Hospital. I told Wendy about the symptoms my dog was having and she called Dr. Ponozzo to have her come down and meet me. I was freaked out because my dog was showing all the signs of having a "twisted stomach" (gastric dilatation volvulus) which can be fatal. Wendy and Dr. Ponozzo promptly met me at Orchard Pet Hospital and checked him out. From now on if I feel like my dog may be experiencing something that could be fatal, I'll only call Orchards! The (over) 20 minutes I waited for a call back from the on-call doctor for Southway was brutal because I was so worried that my dog may die. If any readers are wondering, he ended up having swallowed a whole rawhide roll. He was walking like he was disoriented and like he was stepping on glass, short of breath, salivating, exhibiting signs of extreme tiredness, acting like he was about to collapse, and had a hard stomach. Needles to say I was freaked out! I'm so glad I saw Wendy and Dr. Ponozzo tonight! As a side note, I also take my dog to Orchards to be boarded and he loves it. They take the "boarders" outside to a backyard area a few times a day when they are being boarded which is great because then I know that it's unlikely that my dog will have to be kept in an area that he "went" in. He always runs straight to the door when we get out of the truck and is always so happy to see all of the staff members! *Sorry for any spelling/grammatical errors, it's almost 11 P.M. and the pup and I had a long night!

The vets and staff at OPH are wonderful! They greet you promptly when you come into the office, explain treatment options, and prognosis. Each time I have taken one of my cats there, I have received follow up calls and texts from them. They found out an underlying problem with my old guy and walked me through his supportive care. We are traveling through Idaho and one of our dogs hurt a foot. While in Lewiston we contacted Orchards Pet Hospital to see if we could get her in. Well, they told us to just bring her in and they would take a look at it. The entire staff was great and Dr. Ponozzo was so helpful. If we lived here we would definitely use them as our vet. I am very impressed with both vets I have seen with my cats. Many vets have a lot of knowledge about dogs, because they are seen more often, so it’s not always easy to find a vet with good cat knowledge. I’ve been pleasantly pleased! Their whole office is very efficient and well run. Super friendly staff. I moved here from out of state so I called around to many other vet offices and wasn’t very impressed. Orchards is great about scheduling and helps pets get in quickly when needed.

I brought my cat in who had showed up at my doorstep four months prior. I wanted to get her spayed and various things that strays need. Turned out she had been spayed and chipped. She had owners down the street from me. So I had to leave her at the clinic to be picked up by the owners. Wendy who had been taking care of my paper work and cat called to tell me that the owners didn't want the cat. I showed up to pick her up and Wendy had given her vaccinations and treatment for ear mites. They did a thorough check for fleas and combed out all her fur. They didnt charge me for any of the services. The staff was very compassionate and kind when I cried over leaving my cat. Will go back again for sure.

I arrived on time for our appointment and had to wait over 45 minutes before we were even seen. The staff was moderately friendly, but extremely critical of my cat (the style of his tag, his carrier, things that don't actually matter). I called once with a question and was given a ridiculous answer that even the people at PETCO couldn't believe. I only give 3 stars because my cat hasn't had any adverse effects to the shot he was given there.

We called randomly to see if we could get our cat into the vet to be checked out for what I thought was a bowel obstruction, as he was meowing when my daughter would pick him up at times. They squeezed us in to have him seen in the middle of other patient appointments. They were friendly and the Dr. was very kind and cared for our Mordecia. He got ex-rays to be sure he really didn't have the blockage and everything turned out A- okay. But for our peace of mind we are glad we brought him in and the Dr. agreed its better safe than sorry for something worse later.
