I had a great experience with Dr. Danielle Newman and her staff. She's professional and knows what to do. Most vet in Pocatello couldn't help me to get my cat's health certificate and her vaccines for my international flights. They told me, it's not possible the airlines will let my cat in planes or Kuwait Airport will let my cat in my home country and I spent $2465 for my flights so I was depressed, sad and desperate to get my cat with me on planes. Dr. Newman printed all rules and regulations for my destination and she explained all what she found out about my destination flight. She hoped that I can get to my destination but she also told me that I might get in trouble. Everything worked for me I had 4 flights and they only quarantine my cat for one day because I missed a paper from Kuwait Agriculture Affairs and Fish Resources. This place doesn't care about your money, they will treat you better than other places in town. By the way, I will not forget to mention Chrissy, the reception desk. She explained my whole situation for Dr. Newman. I luv you guys and I'm happy with my bengal cat.

We were traveling through the area, staying at the KOA, when we noticed our Bichon had the beginnings of a bladder infection. I drove to the clinic and was put on the schedule to see a Doctor within an hour. I had two follow up calls asking how my dog was doing.

She has been consistently affordable throughout the entire process. She always takes care to listen and explains every available option. The staff is also prompt and friendly.

Dr. Chris is great. He takes his time examining our dogs and explains thoroughly what the prognosis is and what we should do. The staff is very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. The facility has fantastic modern diagnostic equipment. We feel fortunate to have this kind of care in Sheridan. We want to personally thank Kate and the rest of the staff for taking great care of our beloved Jack during his last hours with us. The grief was hard, but their empathy made it easier.

When we moved back to Sheridan with two young dogs, we never expected that their Vets would become "our new best friends." All three Mountain View Vets have seen our Gabby, a shih tzu, and Sammy, our Shorkie. Gabby has a cyst on her brain and dislocated her kneecap, two unusual medical situations. I have only been here twice but both times I have had bad experiences. I adopted my cat almost two weeks ago and he got sent there to be neutered. The place I adopted him from said he had one more shot which was due around the middle of February which I was fine with. Well, the lady at the desk at Mountain View said that he was all caught up with his shots. I then made a comment saying "Really? I was told he had one more in a few more weeks." She then snapped at me saying "You're not the doctor here, it is clearly written he does not need anymore until next year." I just gave her a look and she said "oh, I didn't mean to be rude, I was just trying to explain." But I brushed it off like it was nothing. Two weeks later my cats eye is swollen so I call them asking if I had to bring him in a carrier or if they did not care. The lady did not answer my question but said "I do not have any appointments today so when would you want to come in?" I said "today if possible." She said "I said I don't have any appointments, I don't have room to fit you in." I had an 'ohhh' moment and apologized to her saying I thought she meant she did not have anyone for the rest of the day. Then she proceded to raise her voice and say "I have already told you I don't have any appointments today. I'll set you up for Monday instead." By that point I was mad, it is not my fault she worded it wrong so I told her "no it's fine, I'll go somewhere else, I want him checked today" she then said "'kay, bye" and hung up. I have NEVER had that experience before from anywhere, especially since I am typically a nice person that doesn't take much to heart but I'm done with this place.

Our dog sliced his foot wide open at a rest area on I90 while using the restroom. We were on our way back to Denver when this happend. After stopping the bleeding with hydrogen peroxide and and feminine products I googled the closest veterinarian office on our way which happened to be in Sheridan. This was approximately 50 minutes away at 4:45 pm being our only option. We were turned away over the phone because we were unsure of when he received his shots, and the phone number of the vet where he got them. From the beginning of the phone call it sounded like they were ready to head home. Now we are driving for another 6 1/2 hours home to go to the 24 hour vet and pay the extra fee. The extra fee part of it matters not. Our dog suffering in pain for another 6 1/2 hours does. This vet clearly in my opinion lacks compassion.

This day and age it's hard to be able to say, "they just do a good job", but these guys do. Everyone from the front desk to techs and docs. We've run the gamut from me scooping up an abodnoned kitten on the road into our place and dropping it off on the way to an appointment to get it checked out to make sure it would be safe to keep it since I have kids to middle of the night emergencies to regular visits. And yes, they always call the next day to check on how your pet is doing after whatever procedure was done as well as something simple like how they're doing after vaccines. Lastly, you get to know them as they share experiences about their families. This is especially the case for those of us who also have kids, because we all know the line between kids and pets is a bit blurred!

Enjoyable experience. Front "nurses" were VERY socialable, and helpful. Was in examining room and with Dr. Pelisier within 15 minutes of appointment time.. Cuda was offered a treat, and although he refused it, was a nice touch. Hope all my pets will have the Great experience of being treated at Mountain View Vet.

I have been going to Mtn View since 2006. In that time they have stitched, consoled, admonished (fat dog) and provided extensive surgery and, of course, had to help ease the end of life for at least 4 of my animals. At the most painful and potentially vulnerable times, the entire staff is respectful and honest about outcomes. I appreciate that so much. Just because we have the technology doesn't mean we should always implement it. Most recently, I was faced with a big financial issue for my young dog. They patiently sat through endless questions on numerous visits. I went ahead with their recommendation. I seriously can't recommend this crew highly enough. I'm so grateful to have this level of veterinary care and support staff in this town. The front desk is better than a 4 star hotel. Follow up - unbelievable. The cards I have received for each of my friends that have had to be put to sleep are keepsakes. They all REALLY care. Love them all.

Mountain View has been our dogs' Vet since day 1. Everyone on staff is amazing. Our dogs LOVE going, whether it is for a boarding trip or just for an office visit. It is a very clean place, from the waiting rooms to the exam rooms to the kennels. We wouldn't take our dogs anywhere else. They know our dogs are a part of our family and they treat them like it, too.

The facility it great, people are great, service is great, if you think your dog should be treated like a human. They go all out, even called the next morning after our puppy got his first shots to make sure he was acting normal. My children's ped doesn't even do that! We were looking for a simple in and out for our ranch dog with minimal cost and found something much different. Just depends on what kind of service you're looking for:)

We are from Texas and were vacationing in our beloved Bighorn Mountains when it happened. Our little Cairn Terrior had been struggling for a month on our trip, i.e., off and on vomiting, diarrhea, not eating...we had taken her to 2 other vets along the way, but knew it was something serious by the time we got to Sheridan. The doctors and staff at Mountain View treated us like family and helped us through the most difficult time in our lives. We will be forever grateful to these very special, empathetic individuals. We have taken Sweet Pea's ashes back to Texas and we know she is at peace. We especially appreciated the sympathy card signed by the entire staff that we received when we got home. I highly recommend this clinic to pet owners. The compassion they showed when I had to put my cat down was so much appreciated. I most recently had my lab in there for a check up & again a great experience. You feel like family. It is clean and doesn't smell like a barn. Dr. Newman & her staff are wonderful.
