Let me tell you this place is where you should bring your sick or in need of medical services animal. I have taken 2 dogs here. I had to put down my 6 year old dog who was my buddy.......no scratch that he was one of my children, I have never had to do something that hard before and the people that work here are so nice and understanding, While I cried they took care of everything else. I have taken my wife's puppy here to get shots and to get fixed and chipped. These Knights Vets and staff will make you feel at home and that means a lot to me and my family.

It is still painful. I lost my cat and my dog. My dog got very strong medicine Tramadol and it messed up his little liver. I took him not too long before to a doctor at Gooding and he performed tests on him and he said nothing was wrong with him, just depression because my other little dog passed away. They were boarding my cat and I called everyday, he was on treatment and they never knew how he was doing, they had to go and check. It is true, they don't like to do tests on them and they want to go in and out. Money matters. Time is money.

I cant thank knights vet enough for tonight. My dog was kicked in the face by my horse when I was at work in Boise. They told my husband the last appointment was at 5 but I wouldn't make it home in time. They told us we could drop her off so she could be worked on in the morning. I know my dog is in safe hands and again I cant thank them enough for helping us.

My son has taken 2 of his dogs to this doctor, 1 for minor surgery and 1 for illness. His 5 year old lab became very ill after the surgery and was taken back in immediately. The doctor said nothing was wrong and to wait it out. His boy was dead that evening. Now he took his pup in for vomiting, no blood work was done and he was told it was blockage that would pass. The pup was sent home being told he was all better. This pup is now at another vet with a huge bill and 50 percent chance of life due to a toxic ingestion of medication. No blockage. Do not take you pet here. They assume they know what is wrong, do not ensure the right test are done and cause dogs to become worse or even die! We will be reporting to the BBB this time!

I am tired of paying the fee just for a visit with my dog. I am charged $40 per visit no matter what it is just to see them (been several times over the past year). Then I am charged for whatever service I actually receive. When I called in a prescription over the phone for me to pick up I was charged a consultation fee on top of the price of my prescription. They do have Friendly staff though.

Took my Lab here for a rabies shot. They failed to tell me his current shot was still good for another 2 years and continued to guilt trip me about giving my already old dog a lepto shot. These people have no compassion for animals. When I called my old vet he told me that his shot was still good for another 2 years and in fact it was extremely dangerous for them to have given my dog a second rabies shot in that time frame. They had the documentation right there in front of their face that showed the date of the last shot. To top it off they told me this shot they gave my dog was only good for 1 year when it is good for 3 years! Reading some of the other sad stories on here I am furious at these people. I WOULD NOT TAKE A FLY HERE FOR TREATMENT.

Same-day service for stitching up a cat, did a great job! Only negative is that they wanted me to bring the cat back to take out stitches in 2 weeks, but in 3 weeks the stitches dissolved. They didn't tell me that.

Great staff and they can always get me in the same day! We once had an emergency on a weekend, where my dog had several puncture holes in him from getting into fight with the neighbor's dog. The vet on-call was at the office in a matter of minuets and only charged us an after hours fee and some meds. He stitched up several small holes, but there wasn't any damage to his body, so no ex-rays was needed. Costs are what I expect to pay!

Not impressed by this vet clinic. Talking with my vet family member this vet gave our cats a antibiotic that is used for skin infection when our cats did NOT have a skin infection.. reading up on the injection, it was used against FDA regulations. Felt like I over paid for the 2 minutes the doc spent with the cats.

Rude, rushed, and no compassion. They were bust is the excuse I got, so maybe if they're not busy you'll see the vet and the tech can be compassionate? They were the only ones open today and that's the only reason I went there...and I won't make that mistake again. Drive to Boise where you can see a vet for more than 2 min and the techs are courteous.

I took my dog there today for a check up. I will never take her there again. The vet came in took two seconds to check her over they put some kind of medicine in her ear didn't do it front of me like most vets do at least the one in Nampa. I was trying to ask questions I needed to know plus treated me and my dog like we didn't matter u can treat me like I don't matter but when it comes to my dog the Dr needs to treat her like she matters. The most important reason I am doing this review is cause now my dog is sick. She doesn't want to eat go outside and she loves it outside and going for walks. She shouldn't feel like that for supposedly just putting medicine in her ear.

They have a very hard time trimming my 40lb dog's nails, so we don't even take her there for that anymore. In all fairness she is very hesitant of strangers, but I would think they would be trained to handle such pets? She physically gets away from them when they do attempt a trim. Last time my husband and I were there, she ran out into the waiting room with the muzzle still on, and WE were the ones who grabbed her. I also took (what the shelter told me was a female cat) in to be fixed...AFTER they cut him open they call to tell us he is a she, and has already been fixed. It was 100% the shelters fault for not knowing the animals sex, however I was surprised the vet wasn't able to see before they cut our cat open, I could be wrong. All of this had me on edge already, then a co worker of my husbands left his dog there for a basic procedure. Came back and saw his dog walking down the road because a door was "left open" and none of the techs or veterinarians bothered to go after him. Had it been my dog, they would've had a pretty big scene on their hands. I'd rather drive 45 minutes to Boise than risk my pets life, taking them to Knight "Vetetinary Clinic."

They found out about my dogs liver.shes on her food ( IAM) and water and she's so much better.i put her food in a plastic container and I act excited and say Sadie come get your treats and she thinks it's treats.and charcoal in her water so it don't burn the grass and we are good to go now.we are going to California for our trip.shes a happy

My husband and I were camping at Three Mile Crossing. While walking our dogs one of them got caught in something by river and tore open her back. No vets in Glenn's Ferry so we headed to Mountain Home. The first vet we called would not take us, even with an emergency, as their appointments were full. Knight told us to head right over and got our dog in immediately. An hour later we were headed back to our trailer with a stitched up dog that was raring to go the next day. We are so thankful for the people at Knight Veterinary Clinic. They were thoughtful and kind....and helped us when we needed them. Would recommend to anyone. Thank you Knight's!

This vet is a nightmare!!! Do NOT take your animals there!!! I took my dog in cause I felt he was I'll, they told me he was bleeding inside. Not ONCE did they say it was an emergency, nor had any urgency of the matter. They did however tell me was going to need surgery. They walked him back in and I realized he was 100% worse. We needed emergency surgery (which they never told he needed it NOW) We put him in the car to race up to emergency surgery in meridian and they told me I needed to get him checked out before leaving where I stood in a line!!!! (while my dog didn't have that time to wait) on the way up to get him the real care he needed, my baby took his last breath. So PLEASE if you want the best care IN mountain home go to the small animal clinic, shes amazing (my parents take there animals there)

We had to make an emergency visit to there clinic because there was something wrong with my dog. Unfortunately, my dog passed away during the ride. The staff was so helpful and caring during this difficult time. They answered all my questions and were very considerate in allowing us to respectfully say our goodbyes to our furbaby. A week later, we received our furbabys paw prints in the mail with a sympathy card. Something we did not expect!!! We will always have a hole in our hearts for our loss, this clinic not only understands this, but did everything they could to soften the hurt.
