Dr Linenberger is the most caring Veterinarian. Twice in about 11 years we have counted on Dr Linenberger to help our dogs at the end of their lives. He is so patient, caring and understanding of how difficult this is to his clients. The clinic staff is also so nice when ever we have been in from shots to nail clippings or surgeries they have always followed up to make sure our dogs have everything they need. Dr Linenberger, thank you again for the latest transition with my best buddy Harley! You make a difficult decision a little easier to handle. THANK YOU Steve

I have been taking my dogs to Habitat Vet for over a year now and although it is across town from where I live, I am so glad I did. Dr. Maleki is the best, and I have also had great experiences with Dr. Linenberger and Dr. Frost. All of the staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and I just think so highly of them all. My dogs are getting older, and I know they are in good hands as they approach their senior years.

I recently took my 9 year old Pekachi into Habitat for a follow after she was diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure. I felt that I received exceptional care from Dr. Linenberger and his staff. They were all very polite and answered my questions without making me feel like I was just another customer. I also felt that Dr. Linenberger understood my concerns regarding my dogs diagnosis and was comforting yet realistic about the outcome. Everyone was very patient with my dog, as she is very timid around strangers which made the checkup much longer than needed but at no point did I feel that they were annoyed. Thank you Habitat for such a great experience and I will continue to bring any of my pets here for as long as I live in Idaho!

Also I didn't have a chance to go there so this review is based on one phone call. Not friendly person at all,I didn't feel welcome when I asked if they are accepting new patients cause we just moved here. I asked if they are certified to do elbows and hips certification for breeders. She wasn't sure and then told me they are not without even asking someone. I am really sorry cause all good reviews I red and cause they are 2min from my house.Just have to keep looking :(

I'm so disappointed to have to give this review. We have been clients of habitat since we got our new puppy last august. We have loyally scheduled each immunuzation, check - up, and spay through her first year. ihave always been happy with the care given to my dog - the vets and techs have been very professional. my issue, and the reason i have transferred my records and business elsewhere, is the lack of effort to accommodate my dog the last two times something has come up requiring attention from a vet sooner than later. Scheduled appointments have been no problem, last minute issues that arrive seem to be of no concern. No effort was made to accommodate my need for my pet to be seen. so, i called a different provider, who immediately made room for my dog between appointments, and i was in the office within an hour of calling habitat. if habitat cannot accommodate last minute issues that arise with pets, i cannot continue to patron this business.

We have a dog, a cat AND a bunny. Dr. Maleki and Dr. Linenberger see them all with the same amount genuine care and concern for each animal's best interest. Dr. Maleki saw our geriatric dog in her final months and treated her with acupuncture. This eased her passing with offered her dignity. I would recommend Habitat to anyone who loves their pets.

I will start this off by saying I was not seen by any vet at Habitat Veterinary Hospital. This review is for the reason I was not seen. My appointment time was 9:00 a.m. I arrived at 8:45 a.m. I wanted to let me dog go to the bathroom and hopefully fill out any new patient forms since this was our first visit. They have tables and chairs outside their front door which we were sitting in at around 8:50 a.m. I watched numerous staff walk in to the building, from what I can assume they all saw me outside. 9:00 a.m. rolls around and I am hoping they will finally open the front door to let me in. Nobody comes. 9:05 a.m. and they still have not opened the front door, the closed sign is still up. At this point I am very frustrated. I have taken time out of my job to bring my dog here. Not only that I live way over by Eagle, ID. It is not a quick drive to get here. Over 2 hours of missed work and a 75 minute round trip (including the 25 minutes I spent outside waiting) drive. I take my time getting my dog into my truck across the street. I wait for some cars to go by and then finally have to drive away. The time was 9:10 a.m. The closed sign was still up. This is a very frustrating experience to have as a potential client at a new Veterinarian Hospital.

Great service! New to the area and was forced to find a vet because of a swollen puppy face. The staff was great and so was the doc. They were very gentle with Daiquirs and I'd recommend them to friends.

Dr.Frost is a kind, attentive doctor. He really cares about the animal, explains, and actually takes the time to look at your dog and talk to you. I think we finally found a vet that I can take all my dogs to and they will get the best care.

I have been coming to this clinic for 10+ years and have always been very pleased with the care both of my dogs have received. Dr. Caldwell has gone above and beyond in returning my phone calls and helping me with a very difficult end of life decision for one of my sweet pups. Dr Caldwell and one of the techs came to our home to give my dear sweet pup a very peaceful and dignified ending. I will be forever grateful, as this is such a difficult decision to make. All the staff at habitat have been so professional and caring, we cannot recommend them more highly!

Our Brooklyn (2yr old dachshund) woke up this morning with paralysis in her back legs. Dachshunds are infamous for IVDD (Intervertebral Disk Disease) and since we'd been through it with others pups in the past we knew what it was. I called The Habitat because I was looking for a doc that would do acupuncture. Dr. Linenberger was just AMAZING! I felt that he really cared for our girl, her health was what was important. He listened to us, he is so kind (not at all condescending) and was not pushy. So happy to have found him. Extremely affordable, honset, and quality care for our fur babies.

Friendly staff and vet techs, outstanding and professional work!! My dog Bubba was well-cared for when he went in for surgery with Dr. Frost. He had to have 6 teeth removed due to infection. He had the same operation years ago at the Boulder County Colorado Humane Society and came home in a ton of pain. However, Bubba acted and felt normal within a few hours this time with Habitat. The job was done on-budget, on time, and professionally in a friendly manner. I'll be using Habitat for all my future vet needs. Thanks!

Today I had a spay surgery for my dog at Habitat Veterinary Hospital. I have to say I was very happy with the service and care staff and doctor provided me with. Not only they were accommodating to my special situation they were extremely professional and caring. I got updates via text every half an hour with a results of blood work and overall condition of my dog. Doctor personally called me after the surgery and told me the results of the surgery and condition of my dog. This is my second visit with doctor Frost and he is simply amazing. I have been taking my adult Spring Spaniel to Habitat since they opened. Not only has Bella always received attentive, loving care; but, the excellence of their staff has become even more apparent with our new Springer puppy, Ranger. Ranger is pretty wild and we have had several close calls in which the staff and veterinarians at Habitat have gone above and beyond in their jobs. It's so wonderful to have a vet who cares more for your pup than your money. Their willingness to talk me through and help me address several situations Ranger has gotten into has saved me several hundred dollars, at least. They are truly wonderful folks and we are extremely lucky to have them practicing in Boise!

I was super stressed about taking my dog to the vet. After several traumatic experiences elsewhere she has a lot of anxiety about going (which has required her to be muzzled and sedated in the past). We saw Dr. Lineberger, who was recommenced to me after talking with the front desk about my dog's history. He was AMAZING with her. He took his time, gave her treats and was very gentle with her. She came in to the office shaking and left happy, no muzzle or sedation required. Thank you Habitat and Dr. Lineberger for helping make going to the vet a good experience for me and my dog.

Dr. Hunter took the time to listen, ask questions and make suggestions on how to keep my dog healthy and increase longevity by feeding a species appropriate diet, sharing scientific information on when to vaccinate, when not to, and how to keep my senior dog healthy and happy for years to come. I was very impressed with Dr. Hunter (and her assistant) who welcomed us and by putting down a runner carpet and blanket to make my 14 year old dog most comfortable. Dr. Hunter and her vet tech surpassed all of my expectations throughout the hour long evaluation by answering all of my questions in detail and sharing expertise information on canine nutrition and recommendations for supplements and probiotics for optimal canine health. If I could give ten stars (instead of five), I would. Highly recommend.

The staff at habitat recently helped me out in a huge way. I was evacuated due to wildfire, and unable to take my dog to my usual vet. Habitat got me in the same day I called. They finished his treatment, and everyone was super friendly and nice. The place has a warm, caring feel, not cold and overly clinical like some other vets. I highly recommend using Habitat if you are in the Boise area. Worth the drive!

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this vet clinic! We have had many issues with our farm ducks (one broken wing and 3 euthanasia) they were kind, patient, and very courteous especially when we had to put down the 3. We were able to be squeezed in same day on both occasions. Dr. Everett took the time to explain the process and was very understanding. I recommend this office to anyone for their great prices and amazing staff!
