Great People! Everyone is so nice and they really care about your pet!! My 1 year old Border Collie had an abscess on her jaw, a few months back and they took care of it.It healed up fast! They have taken great care of her since she was a puppy!

My parents took their cat in and had an appointment. It took them four hours to even look at the cat. Then the vet didn't perform any of the services they took her in for,evidently because she bit him. She probably bit him because she was upset being in a cage for several hours. They should have seen the cat right away since they had an appointment. Terrible service. Don't recommend.

Doctor Dan is pretty down to earth and truly cares for animals. He's seen my cats and horse. Not afraid to tell you the truth of how to best take care of your critters. Clinic is not fancy, but functional for vet needs. This also means that you are truly paying for veterinary services and not fru-fru decor. A couple of the vet techs are kind of curt when it comes to payment options which is why I gave 4 stars.

I drove all the way from Boise with a last minute appointment at 4:30, got way delayed in traffic. These guys stayed late to wait for me and my poor little furryfriend, did it with an amazing attitude, and got us on our way home in practically no time. And the prices were WAY worth the drive. Dr Peterson was absolutely amazing! I didn't feel like they were out for money at all, and I love the way they gave me tons of advice and all kinds of options, what an amazing experience! I called 20 places this morning and they were the best price, I love in Star but it was WELL WORTH THE DRIVE! The doctor even drew me a diagram of the dogs bones and ligaments and what the problem was and explained it so thoroughly it was absolutely heartwarming to know that they truly care about my dog!

There's people who say that their animal was mistreated. I had to take my dog who was a member of the family, there to have him put down. I was very pleased with how it was handled. I even received a box that looked like a coffin to bury him in. So I would recommend them.

They have patience with his high energy and even with me and my silly questions... They take the time to not only help educate me on my puppies needs but also give me a visual to better understand...My Winchester Bay is in love with Tracy and she always makes a point to be able to come in and love on him before we go.. I love how they love him!!!

I love this place! They are very reasonable in cost, and truly kind. Dr. Howlett is so helpful, yet honest with you and realistic, which I find is a rare quality. If you have an issue, whether major or small, he will tell you ALL of the options and their possible outcomes, and not just the most expensive ones. I would trust him with my dog's slightest issues, and any major problems.

Great Vet, kind people, and they seem to care about my puppy, Bear! We take the drive from Boise to Emmett with Bear and I do not think I will take him to any other place in the Treasure Valley. We purchased the puppy package from Gem Vet and are satisfied with what is included. My co-workers still question why I drive to Emmett for a vet.. simply because they are great people who care about my dog! Isn't that what we all want out of a vet? 5 Stars!

Found a stray cat and brought it in. We thought his front leg was broken. But it ended up just being an abscess that sorta disfigured this leg. They took us in on short notice without an appointment and didn't stick us with a huge bill for the antibiotics this cat needed. We will be back.

We have a few dog crises lately. Our older one had laryngeal paralysis, they help us manage the disease as long as possible and was there for us during the end. My high need Pit has required extensive medical management and the staff has been amazing! They also were there for the new puppy. We drive 45 minutes for their care, they are that awesome!
